"Do you...hear that?" she asked the girl. "I thought I heard...flapping?"
Her eyes flicked across the sky, searching for the sound, but finding none.
"Maybe I was...hallucinating?" she asked.

"Angels" Gabriel hissed, pulling his sword out...he looked round seeing that they were surrounded. There were too many.
I hope some of these girls have abit of power behind them...or we're screwed
The angels moved in, a full scale attack; Gabriel did his best to protect himself and take down as many as he could.

Alice crouched low, pulling out more daggers from the same pocket, along with the poison. It could help if there were a few of them.
"Anyone who doesn't feel good with their fighting abilities, put some poison on your weapons. It won't kill, but it stuns them for a few seconds. Enough for a killing blow."

Lace giggled at her enthuseastic answer...she decided that she liked Alice there and then; she seemed bright and somewhat refreshing.
She turned from her to pull out her dagger; she was not a superb fighter and relied on the strength of the others to get through this in one piece.
Takine Alices advice she dipped her dagger into the poison she had brought out "thankyou"

Karpay stood in her fighting stance, ready to knock some down. "Who needs weapons?" she scoffed. She shook her hands to loosen them up, glancing at the others.
We're comrades or something now? Karpay wondered. Can they even fight? What if they can't? Why should I care? It's not like it'll kill me if any of these people get knocked down.

Hikari looked at the Angel, "Damn what a pest!" she said somewhat angry that she had to deal with them, she looked at the others and played with her dagger, waiting to see what would the angels do.

Alice held her two disposable poison-tipped daggers in both hands. She found another target, getting ready to throw one into their chest, while the other would slice their neck. When they were in range, she threw her left dagger and went in for the final hit.

He grabbed an angel as it approached by the shoulders pulling it upward to slam it down into the ground breaking the pavement as it cracked from into the ground. Then with his sword pierced it heart to be knocked down by another angel. With beams of light it scorthed into his back "Flamentum" he growled sending flames up from the ground to cook the angel to a crisp. As it screamed in pain, that terrible deafenind sound, Gabriel swang his sword beheading it...and there were still so many despite his efforts.

Loni lept onto a wall and then onto the opposite wall. He did this until he was to the top and gave a mighty push, hurling himself into the air and tackling one of the angels. The angel struggled and knocked Loni loose. Loni thought quick and grabbed a hold of the angel's ankle. The angel kicked, trying to shake him off. Loni gave a wicked smirk and spun himself around, using his power of speed to aid him. It would appear that a tornado was devouring the angel's leg. Blood eventually errupted as the leg was torn from the angel's body. It began to fall to the ground in pain. Loni rode the creature to the ground, firing upon the other angels' wings with his gun. "How about a fair fight for my associates?" he mocked. "You damn buzzards!" With a loud thud the angel's body hit the ground and Loni stepped off, hoping that the bullets were enough to bring the angels to the ground.

Karpay took a flying leap into the air, tackling an angel down to the ground. "Sorry," she said, gritting her teeth. "You shouldn't have tried to sneak up on us."
She kneed the angel in the back, getting a mouthful of wing. "Pffft!" she spat, trying to get away from the soon-to-be feathery mess, trying hard not to let go.
"Die sinner!" it snarled, kicking at her. "Go back to where you belong!"

Lace spent alot of energy just dodging the light that was sent her way and trying to keep out of the way, she stabbed the odd one when they were not looking but other than that she was pretty useless...until one gripped onto her her face inches from its face, it's gleaming eyes almost blinding.
Although she was petrified she decided she would try her powers on this angel. As she stared into its eyes she was suddenly consumed with light, flashes of what looked like heaven to her flashed before her eyes, she caught glimpses of the heavens and the hells...a terrible place...a place she did not want to go to.
"You will not harm me" she whispered, the angel had loosened its grip and simply screamed at her as she held it now pulling herself from its consiousness "The book of sins, where is it?" she asked but it simply screamed at her. And then it all came to her, as if the angel was sending her its thoughts...quick flashes of a book stood on a stone stand in a cathedral, a dark cathedral.
She shoved the angel from her and her heart raced, she had seen it, it did actually exist and it was in a cathedral.
"Hanerstone Cathedral" she said quite suddenly, she had never heard of such a place.

The odd yell from Lace surprised Alice, but not enough to lose her concentration.
"What's there? Something we should worry about?" She yelled while digging her dagger into an angel's eye.

Karpay saw Lace push one away, with a look of...delight almost.
She pushed her angel she was fighting and threw it against the one that Lace just did, and started kicking them both, trying to ignore the rest of the...flock that was still watching them from a safe distance.
"Hanerstone Cathedral." Karpay heard Lace say.
"What about it?" she growled, stomping down on the angels, which seemed to be dazed, and half dead. A new one came down and grabbed her hair. "GAAAH!" Karpay screamed.

Mikayla nodded at Karpay,"I'm with you Karpay who needs weapons. They weigh you down." Mikayla waited for an angel to approach her. She readied herself in a fighting stance. The angel charged at her at top speed. She stepped to the side and elbowed the angel in the back with a devasting blow. The angel hit the ground and she ran to it and twisted its neck.
"Too easy." She looked at the sky. It was full of angels and two were heading he way. She avoided one but one of them picked her up in the sky. She starting kneeing the angel in the stomach. The angel began to lose conscience. Suddenly they were twirling to the ground. The fall would definitely kill the angel and the angel would break her fall. She smiled and stood on the angel as it fell. Then she heard Lace name a place.
"Is that where the book is?" she shouted as she stood and another angel approached her, but she grabbed its wing and broke it.
