((cont. from post in Phoenix thread. It took place mostly in the building so I put it in that thread.))
Henry emerges from a nearby building to tell Jia that their lord was ready to see the men. He was never in a particularly good mood, but today he seemed to be more frustrated than normal. So far he didn't like Solice and if these people were anything like him...well his feelings really don't need to be described.
"So he is ready. This is our headquarters for now. When we have finished our repairs we intend to start constructing a new one. Our lord is inside. As soon as you enter you should be able to see him."

"Thank you, Master Jia," said Kaki, "For your services to the guild. They are much appreciated." Then Kaki stepped inside after Dreccas was done with his grade entrance.

The three Republican Soldiers had already broke the sad news to the family and was now headed for the Port. "Let's leave in the morning said Breth, I am weary from the fight."
"I as well," said Talos, "We should rest first. I will go check for any recent news in the Republic." Talos then walked off towards the post office.

"I have yet to question your judgment Ziel so if you say that they are near then I believe you." Alexander follows close behind careful not to lose sight of his strategist.
"It would help if we knew more about these people, but I guess that is what we are doing here." He was behind the others, but considering the fact that he carried the most weight it wasn't surprising.

Talos came running back as fast as his legs would take him. "Breth!" he shouted, "The president, he is dead."
"Dead?! Why what happened?" he asked.
"They said there was an attack on Gambino. No one even saw who did it, but now they have a new president that General Pan left in charge before he died."
"The capt. general died as well? That is hard to believe," said Gareth.
"Indeed, they say that it is a 17 year child that is a spitting image of the Capt. His name is President Christophe IV Sonet. We should leave soon, they are moving all forces to guard the borders."

They had gotten to the barracks, but nothing seemed to be going on. Phillip was in favor of barging in, but was quickly checked by his brother and Ziel. Each of them decided that the best thing (or next best thing) was to simply wait outside until morning in which they could speak with them.

Dreccas and his small sqaudron were already seperate from kaki "We could rent horses, or we can go by foot, are there any preference?" he asked, noting the elder amongst them, and checking his pockets to see if he had the money to rent a horse.

"I also prefer a stead," said Saya.
"I'm indifferent," injected the dwarf.

"Alright" dreccas said, deciding he wouldnt have enough to cover everybody "You guys wait here, i'll get some horses" at that, he went off in search of a decently sized stable, where 7 horses wouldn't be missed. After finding them, he rode them back to the others, and said "Theres one for each of you, i'll fly" when he said that he allowed his wings to show "I'm a bit faster, but i'll make sure to keep along with you guys, i'll watch out for dangerous spots from my birds eye view, so we'll be able to have a fairly safe trip"

"Yes, I suppose they're the average loving farmer that only checks on there horses once every two weeks. I'm sorry for ever doubting you," said Saya sarcastically.
"She is right, and we must try every way possible to bring them back alive. That would be rather hard. I'll just leave them #400.00," said Prime as he pulled out a bag of coins and threw them on the ground by the stable. "If we should return them, I'll collect the difference of buying and renting the horses."

Silent, focusing more on thoughts then what was going on around him. Slowing it was happening, but he refused to admit it. Edward wouldn't tell the others either. They would know when it finally came. How long it would take, he didn't know and really didn't care. It was here that he decided that he would focus on the task at hand more than anything else.
He shakes it off coming back into senses with what was going on currently. "If we are finished here, I think we should begin our journey. We are just wasting time if we stand around here all day."
