I'd prefer swords to decide wars, a good old fashioned one on one.
or just have the world cooperate in a competition, the leaders of every nation pick their finest contestant, and in a point based tournament, the nation with the best contestant gains control of the world for 1-4 years, after 4 consecutive years, the nation holding dominance has to back down, but the nation that won the year before has to host the competition.
say, if the USA won, a year with power over the world(any executions and prison sentences must be decided by a court of law though, and no more of this beureocracy bullshit!). then after the 4th year of being in power, the USA can send a contestant, but cant claim the prize of victory to rule the world again.
any and all religious and national holidays remain untouched, anyone trying to change the holidays(except for the case of turning president's day back into delebrating Washington's and Lincolin's birthdays), is denied.
you can only add holidays unless you seek the oppinions of the people who put it to a vote.
a simple system, no overpowering dictator forcing rule, you cant relocate a citizen and reform their citizenship to another country to gain an edge in the next competition, it's gonna have some strict rules, but the competition should be a fair balanced and equal choice, something everyone can take part in without one nation having a massive advantage, and the competition's choice must change each year so as it doesnt become dull or repedetive, maybe run it like the chinese zodiac.
