Kail finds a comfy yet moldy old chair to sit down in. He couldn’t say this turn of events wasn’t unexpected. “Perrain, I suggest you put the picture back. And I dare say threatening it will do little good. This house now has power over us and theres not much we can do about it...at least at this time." Kail'igen, briefly notices Fury still freaking out about the bugs in the cauldron. He knew someone should stop him but at the moment Kail was focusing intently at the eyes on the picture, trying to figure out what it might be up to.

Gerbo glanced over at kail for a moment and spoke softly.
"Well if we can threaten the information out of them... then at least we know what is going on. And if things happen to turn for the worse.. well... I have blown up a building or two before..."
Gerbo then looked back towards the eyes.
"We really do mean you no harm, but with the strangeness that has occured already in this place you must understand why we are all still on edge."

Fury continues to show his well meaning intentions to the bugs in the cauldron... "That's right! That's right! Not so creep and crawly now are you? Who's your daddy! Come on, say my name!" Fury begins to giggle hysterically, continuously pounding the Spiritual Fist into the Cauldron. Dancing Sword rolls his eyes, and looks on in bemused silence...

Kail seemed to be a bit unnerved by Gerbo’s response. Though what put his nerves on edge wasn’t what Gerbo said, but how the house might react to it. “Don’t even suggest such a thing. You must understand at this time the house is in control. It might even have the power to terminate our lives this instant... but ...it doesn’t want to do that. There is no fun in it. It is playing a game, you see, and it wants us to play along. The nature of the spirits decides how dire this game might be. I suggest we be cautious."

Gerbo once again whispered back to Kail in the same low tone.
"Well cautious is deffinantly NOT one of my middle names... though i understand your point... death is a horrble feeling and if i could avoid it, that would be quite alright with me. Perhaps you should try and talk with them.. they don't seem to respond well to gnomes..."

Fury climbs into the cauldron, and begins to bathe in the insect goo. A low, nonsensical rambling begins to roll from his lips, as his eyes roll back in his head. "Gotta... eternal... they'll never die... the spirits say... the spirits say... now... you... must..." Fury's head stiffens into a rigid pose, as his mouth stretches into a ghastly grin...

(Sorry but I must ask you all to hold your coments for a while, we are about to enter the first combat of this game but I need to pm the absentees before we begin. But at this moment the stage is set for the fight so pleas be patient)

After winessing Fury go insane over the course of a few moments, Gerbo finnaly shoke free of Djanni and took a few steps away from Fury.
"Um... I think something is wrong with our friend there.. perhaps we should help him out..."
Gerbo looked around at the rest of the party.
"Does anyone happen to know a remove curse spell? You all think this might be related to those ghastly glowing eyes hanging above us right now?"

*Djanni looks at Gerbo, blinking rapidly*
"I am sorry, Master Wizard. I believe I tranced out for a bit. I would prefer to carry you, to accomodate for the difference in our strides, if that would be agreeable."
*she looks at Fury and a frown creases her brow*

unsure at this point who to hide behind. everyone was doing somthing strange. nuku runs over to Kowsauni and hides behind him and the chair.

Finding the funnest looking thing in the room Luc runs over to Fury and the cauldron, and starts to wail his arms around in a crazy dance around Fury. "BUGS BUGS! KILL THE BUGS! WE HATE BUGS! GO FURY GO!"

Fury stares at Lucas, a piercing gaze that strikes to the bone. Climbing out of the cauldron, he begins to wipe himself down, a look of disdain on his face. Once he finishes, he turns to Kail, Gerbo and Djanni and says in a deadpan voice,"I'd watch out for him; he doesn't seem right in the head..." He then prepares himself for the coming battle.
