After getting the three books, Ignis had laid the candle down on the floor. Hearing the screech as well, he sighed and scratched his head. More screaming and something breaking... Well, I'm not going to play hero and see what that was.
Returning his attention back to the bookshelf, he spoke while running his fingers along the books. "I suppose that depends on your personal opinion." He picked out another random book off the shelf and added it to the three he already had in his other arm. "Me, seeing as no one here has attempted to attack me or something so far, eveyone's sane enough for my taste."
Ignis was about to pull another book out of the shelf when a thought hit him, making him freeze on the spot. The people kidnapped here... Were we all just picked off randomly? Like the way I'm choosing the books right now? Or... He took a step back from the shelf, his face looking uncharacteristically troubled. Books were categorized into genres, and people could avoid or pick out books depending on those genres. Do we all have something in common..?

You said you made a mistake. I said 'Yeah, a huge one.' She shrugged. "Think what you want. But she was talking about feeling things emotions... And well... That boy." She pointed at Elon. "Sorry, I meant Elon. Well he seemed to carry people perfectly fine without breaking a sweat... Then there was that one weird kid just sitting in the darkness." Fate turned her back to everyone and looked at the book titles. "He was looking at something... Something that I don't think should really be there. Either that or he really is crazy and staring at absolutely nothing." Walking down an isle of books she finally found one. It was called Carrie White by Stephen King. Reading the back it caught her interest. "And I'm not 100% sure who it was... But someone said something about the house being weird or getting a strange feeling from it."
Fate appeared down another isle infront of the group. "Maybe I'm going insane and just talking to much." Not another word came from her as she plopped onto the floor and began to read. You said you loved me... I never loved you again...

Elon stopped looking at the books in the dim candlelight and scratched his head. He himself had yet to wonder the actual reason why they were all there. He knew about his own strength, and he knew that everyone else in the house was weird too. He shrugged off the thought and decided to ask Ignis about what he did in the kitchen. Slowly, he walked over to the other boy and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, Ignis. Was it just me hearing things?" he rolled his eyes and spun his index finger, indicating that in a house like this it was very likely, "Or were you talking to the sink?"

Tia sighed, she had figured most of what Fate had sai already, this just confirmed her suspicions. well might as well break the ice about this all then. "Yes, I said that this place FELT weird, and I still do. Something happened here and I can still feel the emotions from it all." She sighed and closed her eyes, well there it went, now they will think i'm crazy just like my parents...oh joy. She chuckled thinking of that, not like she cared much about these people at the moment. But after a while she would get attached and start caring for them and they would be her downfall, just like before. the sooner we get out of this place the better.

(( I'd just like to note this is the first day of thirty. Plus, if anyone's checked the front page (NPC sect), the poltergeist is a young girl. Unless a different poltergeist was summoned. Please confirm if it was a different poltergeist, because I'd need to make an NPC post if not.
You guys have plenty of time to explore. ))

((There could be plenty of poltergeists in this mansion. I got it! A perfect storyline! Souls were trapped here from the greed of the Scientists, the ones in the green van. They experimented to opening a hole in the dimensions, and they succeeded. But at a price. They couldn't control the ghosts. They sucked all life from living things, turning a happy green-painted building into a dull, gray, scary place.))

Ignis pushed the troubled feeling out of the way, whatever the case, there was nothing he could do about and therefore something not worth his time. With a sigh his facial muscles re-arranged themselves back into their calm, neutral expression. But he was now wondering if he should just lie and say that the other boy was hearing things, or tell the truth.
After a small pause, he said his answer. "Yeah... I was talking to the sink..." He wasn't going to explain any more than necessary, maybe Elon would ask further questions, maybe he'd be seen as a crazy guy that talked to 'inanimate' objects.

(( I've already had a rough storyline planned out.
The scientists are just people who had miscalculations. They were put in to the story so the abduction makes sense.
Poltergeists: x Usually children. x Does pranks, but doesn't really know what's severe and what's not. x They can move things, no matter the weight or mass. x They are invisible, but an exception to Stevan. x Our particular poltergeist has a past, and it isn't a happy one. x No one can control poltergeists. Well, certain people can, but not in this story.
Sorry for the insufficient amount of information I have provided for this RP.))

(( If it helps, this RP advances by days. I didn't expect for tons of things happening in one day, within four to six hours. If everything was resolved within a day then the thirty-day return of the scientist means nothing at all.
Also, some clues were placed in the front page that gives small clues to what might be a choice of action.
The events or NPC posts usually have a reason for being there. Like almost piecing together a puzzle. Or that was what I was aiming this RP for being.
By the way, I'm reducing applications now. Things might get too confusing for people who fall behind. ))

Elon gave Ignis a sarcastically confused look. "What did you say to it?" he asked quietly. He wasn't sure if it was a private matter or not, but he thought it would be interesting to know.

You said you made a mistake. I said 'Yeah, a huge one.' Fate fished around in her pocket and grind. Bingo. Pulling out a mint she squeezed the green thing from its plastic cover and popped it into her mouth. She had started to read the book she had picked up. "Maybe there's someone here with like... TK." She shrugged. "Yah know, people like polder... palter...gessts? Poldergessts..." Fate looked up from her book and thought hard. "AHA! POLTERGEISTS!" She laughed. "Sorry. But like... The book. It has some psycho girl with TK." Tapping the cover she continued. "In the prologue or whatever it says that the writer based his story off a news article thing... It had some poltergeist activity going on. Things were thrown around and stuff." Switching the mint to the other side of her mouth she went back to reading. You said you loved me... I never loved you again...

Stevan stood up. He smelled something good. The smell controlled his feet, even though he told them not to. He ended up at the library, watching a girl read a book. "That's a good book," he said. "Sucks that they splatter pig blood on her and then she goes psycho." Stevan walked over to the table. What was he going to say? 'Hi, I'm Stevan, and I see ghosts' No. 'Hi, my name is Stevan. What you don't see, I see. The little sad girl who lives in this house." All possibilities he thought in his mind were strange.
He outstretched his hand. "Hi, I'm Stevan." That was all he said.

[[... Right, that must be one strong mint. You can smell it all the way downstairs.]]
Ignis stared at Elon's face for a moment, wondering if the guy was being serious or not. He couldn't tell, maybe he thought he was joking and was playing along or he actually believed he was sane and was asking a serious questions, wouldn't have really mattered either way. "Well... Basically I asked if it was functional. Couldn't turn the knob by myself so..."
Seeing as Stevan only introduced himself to Fate, he decided that he could just go about his business without having to introduce himself, again. He took out one more random book off the shelf before laying them all down beside him, and picked one from the pile, then he opened it to the front page.

You said you made a mistake. I said 'Yeah, a huge one.' "Yes I know." She looked up at the boy. "Next time don't ruin a story for someone who may not know what happens though." She dropped the book by her side bored now. "Father read it once. A friend told him what happened and he got mad." She shrugged. "Father like Daughter I suppose." Realizing what she might of said would of been wrong she corrected herself. "Not saying I'm mad. I just like to accomplish things on my own level and by my own means." Ignoring the introduction by the somewhat rude boy who ruined a perfectly great story she pushed herself off the ground.
Her attention was immediately turned to the boy who had just spoke. "You asked it a question?" She asked slightly skeptical of that. Woah, I must be on a roll for sounding rude today. She thought to herself. "Sorry. I didn't mean for it to come out like that." Leaning over, Fate picked up the book and looked around. You said you loved me... I never loved you again...
