The angel smiled as he walked over the the king and strapped his Lance back into its place.
"I knew there was some good in that body of yours." The Warrior laughed and looked around the room.
So the Mind Realm was next. Would it be easier to get this artifact? By the sound of things, No. The man was crazy, and it would cause trouble.

"My question to you from before still stants." the king replied, staring Geoff straight in the eyes. "Why are you looking for these artifacts? I doubt you want the 'Blood Drinker' to come back." he said, his face hardening.

Truth be Told, Geoff didn't even know why he wanted the items so bad, but he did.

"I may be kind," the said said, smiling, "but I'm no fool." His eyes suddenly locked onto Geoffs. His eyes held a kind of gentle fierceness. "Most people would not want to save a man called the 'blood drinker'. In fact, there is not a bit of information suggesting he did good for any of the realms. So why?"

Edit:P.S, the weapon won't take effect immediatly. I don't feel like changing my post. XD]
"Th-Thank you.." Her delyed response came slowly as she confirmed the weapon was strapped tightly onto her hip. So it was actually the weapon in which consumed his generosity? The King was actually very kind. Though he offered much to her, she couldn't bring herself to take any of it.
However, Raine's attention was drawn to the question the King offered Geoff. Actually, she was wondering something similar, so to say. Geoff joined her from the Realm of Light, by following her into Durithill's Realm. But what was his purpose exactly? He offered to protect her child with his life.. But for what in return?

((Somehow, I think he's been waiting for me to post or something, lol.
I kinda figured it'd be like that anyway. I had no intention of making it instantaneous.))
"It's really no problem." the king said with a kind smile. "Just a word of warning, Raine. Watch your allies. These artifacts grant power beyond the realm of mortal men, anyone and everyone that knows of their existance will be chasing them." he said.

The Angel wasn't gonna listen to this any longer. The fact that none of them trusted him was one thing, but the fact that Raine kept it inside bothered him more.
"Im not gonna listen to this anymore." The warrior said with a scoff. He shifted his weight onto his right leg, and spun around. And with that said, he headed towards the door.
Of course, not answering the question.

"The same applies to you, angel." the king said to Geoff as he was leaving. "Watch your allies." The king then called a few advisors and began issuing directions to attempt to fix the damage he'd done.

"Thank you." Raine repeated for a third time, bowing politely in respect to the king.
"--For everything." She finished before waving to him as advisors flowed into the room, it was then Raine spun around to chase after Geoff, her voice hurried, if not worried.
"W-Wait! Geoff...! Hold on!" Raine called out to the angel, picking her son up before she began to sprint towards him, her feet moving quickly and fluidly beneath her. Catching up to him, she set her hand on his shoulder gently as deep breaths circulated through her lungs.
"Hold on-- Just a moment. Where are you going?"

"Outside."
The angel responded as he opened the door and continued through the castle. It seemed like door after door, after door. At some points it actually seemed that he was going around in circles.
He opened one last door, and a red glow shot towards him, he was finally out of the castle.

"Geoff! What are you so--" She paused, stopped walking, falling behind. He was angry and there was no point in pestering him about it, that would only make him that much more frustrated. What on earth was he so angry about? What couldn't he 'take any more of'? She was confused...
But she would let him deal with his problems.
Raine began to walk, lowering her son from her arms, smling down at him.
"Where would you like to go now sweetie? The Light Realm, somewhere else or home?"
And she was there, like she said she would be.
Sitting patiently on a step, Artemis's hands were beside her, her green eyes directed skyward curiously. However, the sound of the castle doors opening behind her caused the archer to angle her head a bit. Ah! There he was! Though he didn't look to happy..
Keeping a pleasant face on, Artemis stood up and dusted and dust or dirt from her garments before greeting him.
"How'd it go?"

The angel pointed back, to where Raine should've been. "Uh." He looked to Artemis. "It went fine. We got what we came for." The warrior looked to Artemis and smiled.
The King's question. It hit him hard after he got outside of the castle.
Why did he want these weapons? His mind was still foggy on the whole concept.

Artemis elevated herself onto her toes to look over his shoulder, what was he pointing at? We? What happened to that other lady?
"Umm.." She mumbled lowly with a bit of a giggle.
"Which is.. Nothing?" She said in a joking manner. Of course she really didn't mean any offense by that.
"No matter.. I have a favor to ask of you..." Artemis began, seeming a little sheepish. She felt like what she was going to ask was to much. she had only just met this man after all...
"Look, I'm really sick of it here.. Would you mind if I uh-- tagged along with you? I won't get in the way at all and I can defend myself." She mentioned with a smile.
'If not.. I understand completely."

Geoff listened to Artemis talk, as he looked around for Raine. Where did she go? The Angel spun around to face Artemis as she asked him a question.
His face lit up for the first time in awhile.
"Im sure it would be fine. Even if you couldn't defend yourself." The warrior said with a smile. It seemed that talking with this girl made him forget about the current problems.

A wide smile pulled across the archer's face almos instantly. Relieved, she exhaled and clasped her hands together at chest height. Oh! It would be so nice to travel with someone other than her shadow, finally someone to talk to!
"Really? Oh thank you so much!" She praised him lightly, allowing her hands to fall back down to her sides.
"Are you sure it wouldn't be a bother?" She confirmed, glancing over his shoulder again to look for the woman he had been travelling with earlier. Perhaps they parted ways, or maybe that's what he was looking around for.
"I mean.. I wouldn't want to make your girlfriend upset or anything." She said almost shyly, only repeating a portion of what she heard from thei conversation with the guards.
