"Vi va la boom!" Kouri said. "This is my home!" Looking over with a big smirk, she said "Like it?"
It was....an abandoned hut about a mile away from town....
"Uh.....What about your parents?" Ren asked, dumbstruck by the mess pit of a home. Yawning carelessly, Kouri said "I'm jus' like you. I woke up one day, surrounded by sand, stars, and water. I had washed up on shore. Lia and Tommy found I. That was a year ago though. I don't remember m' parents. Heck, Tommy and Lia are all I DO know." With that she laughed. "Oh! Here, take this!" With a small throw, a large coat was flung in poor Ren's face. "It'll keep you warm." She said.

It had been a few hours since Kouri had told Ren she was going out to get them dinner from some place, quote on quote, 'She liked to call the Gora Gang diner.' And she still wasn't back....Ren had cleaned the entire hut out of boredom too...

One of the teenage boys walked up, backed by the other three. "Hmph. Y'know you're pretty popular for being such an immature kid 'round here. I know yer an orphan, but that doesn't mean you can go round doin' waht ye want." He said. His name was Edge. He was appearantly a big monkey in the gang. He was kind of dumb in Kouri's opinion. Sighing, Kouri siad "I know you're trying to make me all 'How dare you! You b*****d, take that back!' but I don't really care about being an orphan and all. In fact, I LIKE being free from stupid parents. At least I didn't turn out like a p***k like you." She said lazily, playing with a strand of her hair.

Glaring, Edge swung a fist at her. Dunking, she immediately went into action. Teaching out, she grabbed his arm, twisting it behind his back. As she almost caught him, something caught her eye.....It was Lia. And she was on the roof waving. Staring, trying to see her in the dark, suddenly a fist slamming into the side of her jaw bone, and she was whirled sideways to smack the ground. Before she could move, One of Edge's grunts sat on her. It would have been easy to escape if he wasn't fat as hell. Struggling, it was no use. The guy was too heavy. Her arms were pressed to her sides, and her face was shoved into the dirt by the boy sitting on her. "Eat dirt, retard." He said, and snorted up a fit of giggles. Moaning as he moved, She shut her eyes. It would have been easy to take them on if she hadn't taken her mind of the fight! Why had she been to STUPID? A cold hand grabbed a chunk of her hair, and roughly yanked her head up so she was forced to look at Edge, who had crouched down to look her in the eyes. His face was bloody, but he knew he'd won the battle, a big smile filling his face, exposing his toothless grin. "Well I think Taez'll like this. He's wanted t' see you fer a while. Our leader, y'know. He's pretty freaky but....I think he'll cut us some slack if we bring him you!" He said stupidly. With that, the fat boy grabbed her arm, and the other took her other arm. The third boy grabbed her legs. Lifted into the air, Kouri struggled. "You jerkwads! Lemme down!" She yelled. A piece of cloth was shoved in her mouth, and she was carried off, away from the bakery....



Where was that girl? Ren sighed, laying down on the ground...His stomach growling quietly.....He was really hungry....Dinner sounded good right about now...

Jumping, Ren said "Lia?! What are you doing here? Where'd Kouri go?" In confusion.

Struggling, Kouri was soon thrown into a bare room of a warehouse. Before she could escape, fifteen hands grabbed her, tying her to a stair way post. "WHAT THE HELL!!!" She yelled. "I'M GONNA BEAT THE CRAP OUTTA YOU GUYS!" She hissed angrily, threatening. It was took dark to see straight. "Gawd! All I was doin' was gettin' BREAD from the flipping Bakery!" "Oh shut up. Using that flap of yours ain't going to get you no where." Looking around wildly, she tried to stand, but the ropes kept her bound. "You-Where are you?!" She yelled in annoyance. "I'm DONE playin' games with you kiddies, so let m' go before I wreck havoc on all yer-!" She started, when a hand shot out, covering her mouth, and smashing her head up against the pole. Wincing, she shut her eyes tightly. This didn't look too good.

As they began walking Lia explained. "They're just some local gang. They think they're all tough but Kouri shows them otherwise. Usually. Except tonight I distracted her when I was telling her where to meet me for when she was done." She sighed. "I feel bad. It's my fault." She looked at the darkening sky. Stars were starting to come out now.

"But the gang," she continued. "There leader is Taez and he's so... aggrivating! I would beat the crap out him myself if I could... and the co- leader is Edge. He's the one I saw punch Kouri, I think."

Grinding her head up against the stair post, a figure leaned over her. "You don't look that tough....So how is it you're beating up all my guys? Huh?" Asked a cool, angered voice. It rang out, slicing the air like butter. It was then that Kouri noticed. Even the boys IN the Gora Gang were scared of this Taez guy. Looking up, he must have been some 6 feet tall! 18 years old or something too! This guy was no joke....
