~....a few hours later....~ Calistina waited a few hours and when Jade didn't come back she decided to go find him. She knew he would be a little upset at his sudden rememberance. If not because he realized he had to be someone else now, then for the simple fact that she had revealed she knew who he was. She hoped he wouldn't press her too much. "Jade? Jade, where are you?"

Jade had been sat under the bush for hours, thinking and dozing off to forget how very hungry he had become. He didn't want to move right now, he simply wanted to be alone and just...live?? He didn't know, he just knew he wasn't welcoming company right now. He sighed when he heard Calistina's voice, drawing his legs more against his chest as he huddled against the bush, hoping she wasn't going to look down.
It was getting darker, the sun was on the verge of completely setting and he hoped the dim light would hide him from her. He didn;t know about her drow blood and still was disinclined to move. Thus, he sat against the bush, out in the open of a side path.

"Come now, Jade. I know you must be hungry. And its getting dark, you should come in now." She sighed a bit, much like a mother trying to find a hidden child. Frankly thats what it felt like at the moment. Her ice blue eyes scanned her garden, she knew every bush and flower in it. When she saw something large that should be there she knew she had found him. In the growing darkness she could clearly see him. He still looked upset. She gathered her dress in her hand and sat down near him. "Are you really that upset, Jade dear?"

Jade was hungry, his protesting stomach was proof enough of that. Even if he was playing hide and seek now, he didn't plan to be seeked out. Maybe he could stay out here all night?? He didn't know if he could, it was chiller here then it was in the Naga Kingdom, he was freezing already. He kept his gaze down as he heard her approach, a little confused about everything.
"I-I don't know..." he answered. Upset that Calistina might know if he had a family, a home and friends?? No, he wasn't upset, he was just a tad confused as to why she said nothing about knowing him. He blew out a breath, enjoying the warm feel of it as it bounced against his folded arms and back against his face, warming the chilling skin a little.

"Well I can't let the butterfly stay out here to freeze. Come inside, I have some warm soup and bread. You can pout your throughts infront of the fire." She reached over to the bush to wrap her shawl around his shoulders and pull him from his seat. She escorted him back into the big house and into the living room where the large painting of a handsome youth was above the large fireplace. There she placed him behind a tray with warm hearty soup she had made and some warm bread. Once he was settled she took a seat on the couch opposite of him and started to read a novel.

"...okay..." Jade obediently followed Calistina, it was easier to respond to Jade then he thought it would be. He let her fuss over him and give him food, he quietly sat infront of the fire. He was hungry and as quickly as the hot soup would allow, he ate it, his gaze on the picture hanging over the fireplace.
"he's handsome" Jade commented, placing the empty bowl down on the ground next time him, snuggling down more infront of the warmth of the fire. "is he your son??" he really wanted to meet Calistina's son for some odd reason, he sounded and looked interesting.

Calistina grinned as the boy admired the portrait of her son. "Yes, he's very handsome and yes, he is my son. Many a young lass at court fell for his daring charms. Quite a few of the boys as well. But that is when he was younger. He's over 300 now, and quite a handsome man. But his heart belongs to the sea now, so I don't see him often. He writes to me though, occationally sending me presents." She stood and walked over to sit next to him, making sure he is warm and comfy.

Jade looked at Calstina, eyes wide at how old her son was. He was only 23!! He turned his gaze back to the portrait, studying it again. He sighed, wondering what he had seen by being a pirate. anything good?? He didnt know, they were meant to be ruthless and bloodthirsty.
"that's nice of him" Jade murmured, leaning closer to Calistina a little bit when she joined him on the floor. Basking in the warmth from the fire. He felt sleepy and leaned more against her, his eyes darting around the room to take in his surroundings.

"Nice yes but what I would give to have him back in court with me. I admit even at 550 years of age I still miss the little boy I once kept by my side. But no, his heart wandered far out to sea and to adventure with Captain Caspian. And, though it pained me, I let him go. It is too bad I did not come to you earlier, for he was in my home for a fair bit and you could have met him." She smiled at the though, perhaps convincing her wild son to settle down with someone on shore like Jade. Though she wasn't sure how the pair would get along. She wasn't aware of her son's current romantic interest onboard his ship. The dark skinned woman smiled and ran a hand through the boy's hair as he started to get sleepy. "It has been a rough day for you. Perhaps you should get some sleep. Tomorrow you can help me make breakfast, ok?"
