After a particularly violent argument involving Nienna's refusal to go to private school and wear her uniform the right way, Nienna stormed out of the house. Later that evening, she was kidnapped by a gang of men in black cloaks, who took her to a warehouse and performed a ritual to bring their "god" in the real world. What really happened, however, was that Nienna was sent to the Wasteland. Charm: a silver necklace with an inlaid sapphire that lets her teleport.)) Nienna rolled over in her bed. "Five more minutes..." she mumbled as she rolled off the bed. She yelped as she hit the floor. Rubbing her back, Nienna stood up. She looked around the room...that wasn't hers???? "Where the HECK AM I?!?!?!?" Nienna shouted. Looking out the window, she saw...well, nothing. Just empty space. A crash sounded from below her, along with voices. The voices came closer, along with foot steps. Nienna peeked out of her door cautiously. She noted two badly wounded girls come up the stairs and disappear into two rooms. After they had gone, Nienna creeped out of the room she was in, making a mental note of its number. 428C she thought, That's bizzare room number. She crept down the stairs, but her shoe caught on a step and she crashed down the rest, landing in an undignified heap at the bottom. Nienna rolled over, groaning, when she realized that several people, some of them armed, were staring at her strangely. She grinned sheepishly. "Ummm, hi." she said brightly

Cam was just stepping through the door when a girl tumbled down the stairs nearby. He shook his head, grinning slightly, wondering vaguely if he looked that stupid his first hour or so.
Deciding to be the gentleman, Cam stepped forward, standing next to the girl, and reached down.
"Hi" he said cheerfully. "Welcome to the Wasteland"

Wes Laughed a bit to himself, between winces. "You say that like you know what it is yourself" he commented to Cam, then turned to look over the newcomer.

Hearing a crash Thorn finished putting her arm in a sling and went down the stairs just in time to hear Cams greeting. Then she saw a a girl sitting on the floor. She started to laugh and descended the rest of the stairs and standing in front of the girl giving her a good examination. "So what's your name girl?" Thorn asked coldly.

A crash outside caused Dantaye to snap out of her reverie, "Dammit...what now?" she thought as she pulled on a fresh shirt and winced as it agitated her new burn. Dantaye stepped out into the hall and looked down the stairs.
"Two newcomers in one day, this place is getting pretty popular." Dantaye spoke from the top of the stairway when she noticed the new girl.

Thorn heard a door open and saw Dantaye standing at the top of the stairs. Hearing what Dantaye said she replied " Yeah I agree this place is becoming quite popular and the first newcomer today is acting like he now understands the place" Thorn said while letting out a little laugh and looking at Cam. She turned back to the girl sitting on the floor " You never answered my question kid. So I'll ask again what is your name?" she said.

Dantaye came down the stairs, lighting up a cigarette as she descended. She smiled to herself about the kind of mild intimidation that could be read in Thorn's voice if one didn't know her.
"Aren't you at least going to help her up?" Dantaye said with a smile as she reached the bottom of the stairs.

Nienna smiled weakly at athe barage of questions coming at her. She sat up rubbing hur head, still grinning. "Well my name is Nienna Elensar. I'm from Milton, New Hampshire. But my family moved to England so I could go to a better school." Nienna's votce got bitter as she spoke of her family, her bright smile turning into a dark glare. But, she brightened up instantly, her sheepish grin coming back to her face. "So, what is this place? And why ae you guys all holding weapons and stuff? Are you gonna have a war or somthing?"

Cam smiled, sliding the knife he held through a belt loop on his jeans.
"Not really, just a small fight outside. As for this place..." he looked up, grinning towards Wes. "I think its best left to the people who have been here longer than I have...and over a drink"

" I agree I'm not in the mood for explaining things at all it's not my thing Wes is a lot better at it than me but I could use a good drink." she said agreeing with Cam. Thorn led the way to the bar and sat down. " I'll have the usual" she said.

((Well since everyone seems to be putting me in chage of the storyline and orientation, if no one has any complaints, I'll take over... ))
Wes rolled his eyes a bit. "Yeah, a drink... if it did me any good..." he mumbled, then turned toward the Pub. "Whoever's coming, come on, then." he said to the group, finally regaining his composure over the pains of his fresh wounds.
