"You'd probably have to ask them" "We're always wet and moist and the higher you are the colder it gets, you'd probably freeze up there" He rubbed his hand behind him not trying to ruin her fun, but he didn't think she wanted to find out the hard way and come back with blue sclaes instead of orange.

"Ah, a frozen fish stick, huh?" Coral chuckled. She wasnt sure that was fully true. Would she have to go that high? She shook her head thinking the clouds just might be that high. It could happen. "Still, might be worth it." She winked.

"I guess, but you have noticed the real tall mountians with snow at the top. The reason is they are so high up it's extremely cold and keeps them covered in snow all year long, they'll never melt unless the sun's temperature were to increase greatly and fast"

Coral didnt' mean to upset him. "Oh, well I like you." She nodded and then pat him on the back. "I'm sure others do to."
"What do you get when you cross a cat with four more legs?" Coral tried a joke to make him feel better.

"Oh, yeah that and an octopus has 8 legs." Coral smiled glad he understood it. She had gotten so many that didn't understand her jokes. It was a bit sad for her.

Coral thought about that for a moment. 8 and octo went together? That did make sense. Maybe that knowledge would help her later.
"Huh? Oh, sure why not." Coral swam up the the shore and got out. She had legs after a moment. The teen then sat down on the warm sand. "Nice day!"

"Yeah" He swam to the shore as well and slipped of the water with his tail. He waited for his legs to appear and got up from the sand. He walked over to her and sat down "Just warm enough to keep our scales from drying out in about a few hours"
