Sam watches with wide eyes as Gabby gets shrunk down. She leans over towards Kitanna who was standing next to her and whispers "I hope she'll be alright too"

Gabby let's out a slight gasp once put into the water. It took a second for her body temperature to adjust to the tank water. She then began to swim around waiting on the Grindylow to appear. After a minute or 2 she realized the Grindylow wasn't coming out and that she needed to go further down to the seaweed. Before going down Gabby looked through the tank glass at all the other students gathered around staring. She begins to giggle to herself as she notices Sam with her big bubble head and face up against the glass. Gabby smiles and then heads down towards the seaweed. Her heart was pounding waiting for the Grindylow to come out. After her 3rd attempt in front of the seaweed, something grabbed her foot. Gabby gasps and turns to see the Grindylow. She points her wand at it and with a flick says"CONGELO"

Sam gasps as Gabby is grabbed by the Grindylow, and holds her breath as her friend casts her spell, waiting to see what will happen.

Lupy watched Gabby's every move, ready to jump in after her, should the Grindylow try to hurt her.

As the tank became a solid box of ice Raina shook her head and waved her wand at the tank, rapidly thawing the tank and then reaching in to pull out Gabby. She then set the shaking student on the ground and flicking her wand grew her back to normal size and removing the bubble on her head. She then moved her wand back and forth while hot air poored out of it's tip, drying and warming Gabby. "that was a noble try miss Skye, 5 points for hufflepuff for your effort".

holding back a fit of giggles, Claira completely forgot about the desk and her belongings as she watched Gabby get frozen in the fish tank.

the twins eyes nearly pop out as the saw the tank turn to ice

"nah, the professor wouldn't allow it" Zeke whispered back.

Kit gasped and grabbed Sam's arm as she watched their friend turn to ice, and then get pulled fromt he tank and dried off.

"That was a great lesson" she said, placing her right hand on Gabby's shoulder, "We'll adjurn for now, so have a nice winter break and i look foward to seeing you all back here in a few weeks" she said smiling at each student individually.

Sam sighed a sigh of relief and putting a comforting arm around Gabby's shoulder, led her friend out of class as she said "You were brilliant Gabby"
