Alex nodded slowly, his expression thoughtful. In other words, Hunter was just a walking bag of sexual desires, not caring whether the one he looked upon was male or female. Some people -- Alex included, though he did prefer men -- were just like that. Alex liked active acts -- he hated how some people just moved so slowly -- but he also prefered the bottom [haha, bad pun] role. It was less work and he never felt any pain from it, so he figured that it was better. Of course, that was because Alex hardly ever encountered someone who made him want to please the other rather than just pleasing himself. There had been... one case, maybe, like that... but the man was long gone and Alex prefered not to think about him....

He nodded slowly and took the other's hand though, on the inside, he was thinking 'what cheese.' Any man could put on five second manners in an attempt to sway a girl's heart. But Alex, being himself a charmer, was quite aware of such little tricks. And they really were cheesy and quite blatantly obvious, so he didn't fall for them. "Lead the way...."

Dark eyes opened slowly, pale icory lashes fluttering in a rather confused manner for several moments before they settled back down and realisation sunk in. He had been... where had he been? He had been standing, out of the tea shop, just about to round the corner and enter the main street when... everything had gone black. Pitch black. It was a very familiar non-color for the youth -- and one he hardly ever greeted with pleasure. If there was ever one presence he feared, it was this one.

"Hello, brother..." he murmured slowly as his vision cleared and he sat up. He was no longer on the streets, but now situated in his room. He had been laying on his bed for some time, it seemed, for the light had changed... and now he was sitting, the covers pushed back as he cast his dark gaze around the room in an attempt to find the man. But, of course, his brother had already left. Calypso had been out for some time -- it happened occasionally -- and his brother had left already to pursue something else, leaving the boy with neither news nor an assignment. Sometimes Calypso felt that he was being deliberately kept in the dark. He knew his brother couldn't be too trusting what with the rumours that Calypso was stronger, even, than his brother....

It was an unfortunate predicament.

Hunter didn't hold the charm but for that one moment, it was only meant to be amusing. He then wrapped his arm around Alex's waist, and his tail around his butt before leading him towards the exit, "My place isn't too far away, 2 blocks." Hunter said, his hands cupping Alex's side, fingers sliding over his soft skin. It had been a while since he'd taken anyone home for the night. He'd been getting a few jobs lately, and then he'd been drinking at his usual hide out. The people there knew him by now, so looking back on it, it was no wonder he wasn't getting any dates, or more.

He admired Alex's perfect frame, skin and hair. If his head wasn't in the gutter, he would have thought of it more strange. A pale youth stumbling into a rough place like the House of Earth. And his obvious warm colors when his house preferred earthy colors. But he wasn't concentrating on this because his mind was focused more on the boy's butt than his motives. Speaking of his butt, Hunter's tail gave it a nice squeeze.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 11, 2007 3:36 pm

((The Houses are not confined to those colors; they are just like... their signature colors. Like for the US, it's red white and blue but no one adheres to that color scheme. 8D;; And the House of Earth is the most varied of all due to the many bloods... 8D;; ))

Well, Hunter certainly seemed confident that Alex would stay the whole night through. Then again, most of the men that Alex teased seemed to think the same. Truthfully, Alex wasn't quite in the mood to let the other go all the way... he'd play with him for a bit, but he'd probably end up leaving after a bit unless the man proved to be more interesting than he seemed thus far.... It always sent chills down his spine when unknown men touched him so easily, but he could supress the small movement so that it never happened.

And the tail. Alex just... didn't know. It freaked him out and fascinated him at the same time -- it was interesting because no one in his House had such appendages, but slightly freaky because it meant that it was one more apendage to keep track of.... Men usually used whatever they could to touch Alex -- which was, really, what Hunter was doing at just that moment -- and though the teen didn't quite mind, it still unnerved him on some occasions.....

Alex really was more of a flirt than someone to actually go through with things. His moods and whims changed even faster than the flickering fire he controlled.

((Whoops, well still, Hunter senses he was different, even though he's not constrating on it.))

They made it to Hunter's home in less than a half hour. His home was nothing special, it was a small apartment room, slightly cluttered with arrows and papers. He didn't spend a lot of time at home, but it was personalized with green fabrics, pictures of a human family and little nick nacks that he picked up everywhere. He shut the door after Alex and him, dropping his key on a small table near by with papers with notes on them.

"Sorry for the clutter, I wasn't really expecting to have anyone over." He said, flipping the papers upside down so that Alex didn't take the time to read them.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 11, 2007 4:14 pm

Hunter hadn't locked the door. Good. Of course, Alex was more than adept at picking locks, but it always made things easier if the door was simply left open.... Golden eyes examined the (incredibly shabby) appartment, watching as the other hastilly flipped over some papers. How incredibly suspicious..... And this man's home was a mess -- not that he'd been expecting anything else. Most of the men Alex fooled around with were wealthy enough both to be prominent targets for the House of Phoenix as well as rich enough to throw money Alex's way. Men seemed to like to do that when their libido was let to freely flow.

"I've been in deeper messes myself," he replied, a light grin on his lips.

((That pun was unintentional, I swear! 8D;; ))

It was a long time before Vaughn spoke or did anything besides walk. The journey back to his apartment, or perhaps “little hole in the wall” was a better description for the one room hideout he called home. In the basement of an abandoned inn on the outskirt of the city, Vaughn obviously chose it for it’s seclusion, but it’s structure didn’t count against it either; it was windowless and made entire out of thick, durable stone, perfectly suited to withstand his magic if he lost his temper. The door to his room was made of thick, heavy iron; evidently this was used as some sort-of storage place by the previous owners. He wasn’t too concerned about why it was there though, so long as it suited his purposes.

He sighed as he opened the door; it hadn’t occurred to him before, but he was exhausted, both emotionally and physically. It took a lot of effort to keep him from losing control and it wasn’t made any easier sitting across from the brat who might be responsible for the deaths of his three most precious people.

The room was bare save for a bed, a fireplace and a large mirror hanging on the wall. Closing and bolting the door behind him, Vaughn wasted little time in walking over to the bed and flopped down on the mattress. He didn't even bother removing his disguise; it would take too much effort.

"Did I come at a bad time?"

The fur on Vaughn's tail ruffled and twitched from it's place around his waist, tapping softly against the bed. He knew that voice, but it had been weeks since he heard it last: the voice of his Master, the man who taught him everything he knew. Even if it was his teacher, Vaughn couldn't be bothered to raise his head. He already knew the man wasn't in the room; it wasn't West's style to speak with his students in person unless the matter was absolutely dire.

"No, no. Everything's fine," Vaughn replied, although this time his voice wasn't sweet and feminine, it was hard and masculine. He stayed flat on his back, both arms stretched out across the faded bedding.

"You know, when addressing one's Master it's in his best interest to show him a little respect and stand to face him." Although his voice was pleasant, friendly even, Vaughn could detect a hint of a threat behind his words. That tone use to send shivers down his spine for it always led to some form of punishment. And West could be quite.. creative when it came to disciplining his disciples. However, today all his subtle threats were accomplishing was making him angrier.

"Oh yeah?" Vaughn replied, lifting his head as he spoke. The fire still burning in his chest had spread down into the pit of his stomach. "And isn't it only fair to show your disciple similar respect?" He glared, still green-eyed, at the large mirror hanging just opposite his bed. To an ordinary person it might seem strange for someone to be talking to his own reflection, but it wasn't himself he was looking at in the mirror. A young man with long white hair with dark silver eyes staring back at him from the other side of the glass.

“I do have respect for you,” West replied, smirking slightly, “That’s why I’m giving you the opportunity to get up off your a** and address your Master properly. If I didn’t you would be regretting that decision right now.”

“The only thing I regret is taking this mission!” Vaughn snapped, practically jumping to his feet and glaring at his Master's face in the mirror. Just as sudden as his movements did a fire burst into life in the fireplace; it seems he could no longer contain himself. "Not only did you assign me to some crappy little fabric stand, but you left me there for weeks without any contact, any word from you about anything!"

"Okay, hold on a second. Why are you wearing a dress?" West tilted his head to the side, a rare puzzled expression on his face.

"And not only that," Vaughn continued, his temper flaring - the flames in the hearth flashing dangerously, "But I have to hear about the deaths of Earth spies from snippets of conversations I overhear from other people! Don't you think I should learn of the death of my comrades from someone I trust?"

[[To Be Continued...]]
PostPosted: Sun Nov 11, 2007 6:51 pm

"What is it with you and dresses?" West replied, obviously not taking a thing his pupil said seriously. "Look take that ridiculous thing off or we're not continuing with this conversation." West was commonly a no-nonsense type. He could not accept failure under any circumstances. Not from his underlings. Not from himself. And especially not from his students, the ones who helped secure his respect in the House of Earth and the ones who he trusts beyond all others.

There was a long pause as the two stared at each other, green against silver, with nothing but the harsh crackle of the fire burning in the hearth. Finally coming to a decision, Vaughn reached up and ripped off the wig, tossing it rather violently behind him on the bed. The dress, fake breasts, green contacts, even the magical leather pouch around his neck were soon to follow until he stood before the mirror and his Master in nothing but a pair of black shorts.

"There! Does this suit your liking?" Vaughn growled, golden hair, ears and tail free at last.

"Very much," and by the tone of West's voice, including his smile, Vaughn could tell he was pleased. "Kitty's shouldn't be forced to hide their claws. That's part of the reason we're members of the House of Earth." Then he added, almost as an after thought, "But I do have to say you look very good as a girl.

[[Okay, I'm exhausted and I have to get up early tomorrow so I'm going to leave it off here for now. Night~]]

Calypso's movements were more than slow. A dull throbbing had formed in his head, making it hard to concentrate, hard to move, hard to think.... This always happened after the moments of black, those scant seconds during which Calypso felt that ever familiar fear. He was supposed to be fearless and for the most part it was true, but he had never been able to supress his emotion when confronted with that blackness.... But then, anyone would be afraid of that.

Pale hands had risen to be studdied by slightly fogged, near-black orbs. The color in them had dimmed to the sluggish gray of a silent sea on a cold, gray, foggy morning. Calypso was not at much of a lively child, but there was a difference between the current deadness of his gaze and the way his dark eyes usually seemed at least awake and attentive, if not sparking with eagerness.

He raised his hands slowly above his head, his gaze following as he turned the milky white appendages over and over. There was a faint glittering as his arms and hand moved, glinting in the light. Glinting. Skin didn't shine like that, didn't reflect light so sharply or so strongly..... The scales had formed again. They were dimenishing now, fading into his usual pale skin, but for several moments his sharp eyes could still pick them out. And then they were gone.

It had been happening more and more recently -- he would wake from the blackness foggy and unaware, only to find the scales retreating slowly from his flesh. It scared him.

Calypso stood up slowly, his legs slightly unstable, his robes falling in neat, loose folds. His normal clothes had been replaced once more with the more ceremonial garb.... It was suspicious. And it was scary.

((His next post will be more normal. O: ))

Icy cold, clear, clean water lapped against pale calves. He had dressed himself in clothes more appropriate for the outside world and had then left the House of Dragon. He wanted out, away from the scent of his brother and... and another, even more disturbing smell.... This lake was a rather favorite haunt of his; no one much else made use of it as the waters were icy cold year round -- cold enough to cause frost bite in summer -- and the waves choppy and rough. Anyone not careful could easily find himself dead in the waters.

But for Calypso this was no great barrier. The waters around his legs and feet were quieter than the others, quelled by his own watery inclinations. He was seated on a cold, gray stone bordering the lake, letting his feet dip in to brush along the rocks and pebbles under the lake's surface at the shallow end. The water, too, was quite gray and it looked almost as if there was a storm brewing. Of course, that might all have been Calypso's doing as the boy felt quite stormy himself. The deep, writhing gray of the waters certainly matched the current hue of his eyes, though the waters were decidedly more lively.

Calypso didn't seem to be noticing much of anything at the moment. Though it was summer, it was quite cold by the lake and the waters themselves were freezing. But Calypso sat there calmly, his trousers pushed up to his knees, his shirt sleeveless. Anyone would think he was out of his mind (or out of his body) for he did not so much as shiver.

((^_^ I'll take your word for it Mint-chan))

Hunter kicked some papers out of the way. He supposed he should have filed them like any respectable assassin would. The papers had some crude sketches of territory that he had had to maneuver through and some of the items and people he'd been after, but nothing incriminating. He didn't really consider himself an assassin, but he took jobs that could be completed by bow, arrows and wind. Some of them were retrieval cases, thievery and such. One couldn't be too picky when they didn't have a steady job. Money was decent so he wasn't about to complain, he got by on societies terms.

Hunter removed his hat and put away his bow and quiver; the few things he specially put away in his closet and locked for safe keeping. He paused a moment, hand on the door and he concentrated, making air swirl in the closet and a chunk of wood wedged itself so that even if a stranger opened the door from the outside, they wouldn't be able to open the door. Even if another person had wind powers like himself, if they didn't know what was behind the door and which way to push it, they would not get it open. Hunter kept his valuables there. The real paperwork for his jobs and clients to call up when he needed money. It was all in there and he liked to keep his things safe.

Hunter turned to Alex and smiled pleasantly. "It might not be much, but it's home," he said. Hunter, despite being a pervert and lover of all fleshy beauty, did not treat his lovers like anything less than lovers; He tended to pride himself in that respect, "So do you want anything, water? bathroom?" he smiled more at the last statement, "Massage?" It'd been a while, he didn't want it to go so fast.

((I feel so nice and cozy and warm right now. I've got a nice fuzzy blanket, a purring kitty, and some hot tea.... and a paper. *shake fists at English paper* >< But otherwise I feel happy. 8D;; ))

Alex hadn't really been too surprised by the state of the man's home -- it was almost expected for someone who acted as he did. Not that that meant that Alex at all liked it. He prefered cleaner places -- he himself rather prided himself in his meticulously neat room. Of course, he wasn't a neat freak or anything, but he liked to keep everything hygenic and organized. It made research -- both for jobs and personal curiousity -- easier to file away and find. His room was filled with filed and stacked and categorized and stowed away neatly.

Golden-amber eyes watched as the other male pressed a hand to the door and concentrated for a moment. There was a small shlocking sound, like something sliding into place, though Alex couldn't see what. Whatever it was, though, it appeared that the man was not quite so careless as Alex had taken him for -- he had at least thought out a safe spot and whether or not it actually worked, a way to make that spot actually a safe spot.

He glanced up as the other spoke and shook his head slowly. "I'm feeling fine, thanks.... I actually just got a massage this morning.... I actually matched the cake you gave me before you made the offer," he replied with a soft smile. He was, of course, referring to the slight hint of peppermint in his scent [rhym much? D: ] that had resulted as an effect of whatever oils the massage therapist had used. Of course, he didn't tell the other that the massage therapist was in fact his own sister so that Alex nearly always smelled slightly of peppermint. Though Alex didn't much mind the attentions towards himself, he would sooner kill any man that approached his sister without her permission than let him so much as talk to her, let alone touch her.

((I could use some hot tea, but then again, I could use sleep too. Bed time after this post))

Hunter smiled, "Then I did make a good choice in cakes," he commented and stepped closer to Alex, tail curling, not around Alex's waist, but his thigh. His tail was his grip, like another hand; its grasped things for him, it felt things like fingers and it and it generally displayed what he was thinking. as long as you knew the language, you could generally know what he was thinking. Right now His tail was showing intimacy in its own way, wrapping around and gently squeezing. It was surprisingly not being perverse. It was even obvious to humans when the tail was perverse.

Hunter was chest to chest with Alex and he grasped the younger man's slim shoulders with his hands, pulling him closer. His lips were very close to Alex's but he didn't touch them yet, instead he inhaled Alex's scent again. It was intoxicating and heated, bringing intimacy into the touch, not just sex.

They were very close to the hall wall; if hunter pushed Alex back he could easily pin him there, but then again, he hadn't asked his only required question, "You know, if you plan on stopping half way through, you should leave now." He disliked getting riled up and then the other party member canceling the main show. It had happened on a few occasions. He didn't appreciate them.

PostPosted: Sun Nov 11, 2007 9:14 pm

((No rest for the wicked, dearie. xD Egads, I love that story. 8D <33

Haha, I have no clue why, but for some reason I've started calling people "love" and "deary" and all. It's so freaking weird, but whatever. 8D;;;; ))

Alex didn't need the tail to know what Hunter wanted. It was really quite obvious in and of itself, but the tail and the way the other's expression had sollidified into something much more serious were proof enough. But damn, Hunter almost looked passable when he was serious like that. Almost -- but then, Alex was incredibly picky when it came to looks. Sure, he ******** a lot of guys that he didn't think were hot, but it made everything much easier if the other party was at least slightly attractive... Fortunately, Hunter met that requirement. It wasn't as if Alex was obligated to have sex with Hunter or anything, though. He was just in it for a bit of fun. But Hunter, it seemed, was taking this rather more seriously.

Golden eyes met the other's darker hues as the half-lemur pulled him suddenly closer. If Hunter had thought the scent of his body was intoxicating, Alex's breath was even more so, the scent of peppermint wafting strongly from between slightly parted, pink lips.

He smirked slightly at the other's words. He doubted very much if the man would be able to stop him if Alex did indeed end up deciding to leave. "Mmm... well, that depends...." he replied, his tone soft, playful. "I don't stay if guys are all talk... but if you're better than that, then you'll get better than that...."

{ xd Some of my friends call others honey and dear, it makes them sound more mother like. Call me bunny please! 3nodding }

Hunter smiled, "I have to prove my worth, eh? Reasonable. If I'm horrible, I wouldn't blame you if you left, but I haven't had a complaint so far." Forcing people wasn't his thing. He loved to dominate, but not if the other party wasn't willing. If Alex left he wouldn't be able to stop him, but he'd be throughly disappointed if he was doing that badly to make someone leave.

He then closed the distance between their lips; the kiss was warm and soft. It'd been a while since he got this far with anyone, it was a nice refreshing breath of fresh air, and a very tasty peppermint taste as well. Mm, he'd be disappointed if he couldn't please this one to the brink of need.

His hands cupped Alex's lower back, drawing their abs to touch. It was nothing forceful or demanding but Hunter had missed another body against his. He pushed Alex a bit more back so his back rested on the wall as he kissed him; and for the record, he was a very good kisser. One of the best forms of intimacy and foreplay as far as he was concerned.
