"I...honestly don't remember. I think daddy help teach me...but how hard can it be to learn?" Her hand slid from his. "All you do is sort of jump up, and flutter your wings a lot to sort of catch you before lifting you higher." She jumped in demonstration, crimson wings turning into a blur of red as the hybrid hovered three inches from the ground. "Though I don't think your wings are made to be this fast. So try like...immitating a bird I guess?"

"Oh yeah. That sounds very easy." Azure said sarcastically. "All I need is a little faith, hope, and pixie dust." he was joking of course. Azure watched her demonstration, it looked easier said then done. Azure thought of her suggestion to immitate a bird. "Well I'll try." Azure jumped up and just as he figured, he instantly fell face first into the path. "You wouldn't happen to have any would you? Pixie dust I mean..." Azure mumbled as he pushed himself off the ground.

She stiffled a laugh as he tried to lift himself to the air, slowly fluttering back down to the ground. "No...but I do have an idea." Adora waited until he was on his feet before gently taking the basket from him and setting it down. She stepped up to him then, grabbing both of his arms and wrapping them around her waist as she pressed her body against his. Her own arms wrapped around his waist and she looked up, lightly smiling. "On the count of three, I want you to jump up as high as you can and hold on to me tightly. Don't let go."

Azure gave a light, but unnoticable, sigh. Girls seemed to always be helping him out, it was kind of embarassing for him. He was slightly uncomfortable to being in such close proximity with anyone other then Dyas, but he knew he'd have to get used to it from here on out. Azure held loosely onto Adora's waist, but his grip was tight enough so that he wouldn't just fall off once they were airborne. He would've tried flying again, but Adora had insisted they try it this way so he complied. "Alright, I'm ready" Azure told Adora as he got his legs ready to jump up. "I won't let go, don't worry." Azure wouldn't ever dream of letting go and embarass himself by falling to the ground again.

She just didn't want to laugh at him accidently if he fell again, her own hold on him tight. "One...two...three!" As they sprang up, she beat her wings as hard as they would go. They hovered for a second before slowly rising, adora's head going into Azures shoulder with the strain. She had never tried picking up another teen before while flying...but she hadn't exactly thought it would be so heavy! "try...flapping...again..."

Azure's eyes had closed shut the moment that they had leaped off the ground. After a few seconds his eyes slowly peaked open, "wow, we're flying!" Azure exclaimed, sounding like an excited little boy. "Well I mean... you're flying, but still!" Azure looked at the bird's eye view he had from a height slightly taller then him. Azure could see how much Adora was straining to carry him. "You can set me down." Azure suggested to her, he didn't want her to get hurt from trying to support him. Azure began to flap his wings, beating hard against the air. When he felt confident with the rhythm he had developed he let go of Adora and thankfully remained in the sky. "I'm doing it."

She grunted softly. "I'm...fine." And then, suddenly the load was a lot less. The girl pulled her head back and stared in shock as he hovered. Adora grinned and moved her hands from his waist, to his hands, there encase he needed it again. "Go Azure! This is great! You're a natural!"

Azure blushed at the complement. "Thanks, its no big really. I just have to keep doing this." Azure began to start panting from the constant flapping of his wings. He wasn't at all used to exerting his energy in this manner. Maybe he should've tried a cookie before he started flying so that he'd have more energy. "Over and over... again..." Azure was slowly descending, every once in awhile he'd push down extra hard to make his body shoot back up higher. "Its going to take some practice to get used to this kind of thing." Azure smiled up at Adora, he probably never would have tried flying if it wasn't for her.

She giggled softly, nodding. "You'll have to build up your wing muscles since they've been inactive till now. And maybe, just maybe after you get the hang of up and down I'll show ya how to turn." She grinned and winked, her body slightly bobbing with her wings. Adora of course could fly for a good bit, even after that strain on her back. But she was taught at young age. That azure would get it on his second try was...phenomenal! Slowly she let herself sink to the ground, her feet delicately touching before the blur behind her turned back into wings. The female picked up the basket, smirking. "I've got the basket now!"

Azure looked down at the grounding wondering which was the smoothest way to get back down there. When Adora began to descend he deceided that he should try it to. He folded his wings and down he went, a little less gracefully then he had hoped. Azure landed hard on the ground with a giant thud. "Uhm, you don't think this place would be too far to walk do you? Or maybe somewhere closer." Azure suggested.

She giggled and nodded, quickly moving to him to offer him a hand up. "Yeah, yeah. Of course we can just walk. Are you okay?" With the amusement there was a hint of concern. That...had looked like it hurt.

Azure nodded his head slowly as he took Adora's hand to get up. "I'll be alright." He told her. "I just need to take this flying thing slowly." And when Azure said slowly, he meant slowly. He'd already fallen down several times today. Azure wanted to keep the falling down to a minimum level. He released a deep sigh of releif glad that they could walk to the place they were going to. Azure knew he couldn't fly all the way to anywhere, and he didn't want Adora to get hurt from carrying him.

She nodded again, lightly bitting her bottom lip. "Of course. Soon you'll be flying in no time." A small smile as he stood, but she didn't relinquish hand. Instead she turned towards the direction of the mountains again to start walking once more. "Come on slow poke, by the time we'll get there it'll be past lunch and become dinner!"

Azure laughed and jogged to catch up with Adora. "We might want to have our picnic as we walk and go to the mountains for sunset." Azure laughed as he took the basket back from Adora, eyeing her as he did so. "You didn't think you could carry it off that easy did you? I need to keep a close eye on those cookies."

"Watermellon while walking. Sounds like drippage just wanting to happen." she spoke with a wink, grinning. Before gasping as the basket was taken away. "Hey!" A pout, the pink pae playfully bumping into him. "Woulda split one in half for ya."
