"Its fine, I understand." She said quietly, then looked around at the group "Now will someone remind me how a persons few simple words seemed to have turned us against each other? Were never going to move forward with our goal if we don’t do this together." She said with her voice becoming stronger with each word, hoping to pull the group back together.

Orpheus breaths deeply and closes his eyes. His muscles relax and the tension leaves them. Seeming as though he is about to say something, he quickly draws back and returns to his stance.

Adonna gave Orpheus a questioning look, but did not ask out load. Kin and Hotaru who had stayed quit through most of this, now moved over towards Adonna also.

Catching her glance Orpheus leans over and whispers in her ear. "We need to set up a meeting between Adisa and the Hydiskal Leader. As there is no leader of the halfs yet I believe we could be able to draw up a Treaty of Non-Agression but only with the right people."

Adonna nodded. She might be able to talk her father into that, but the Halfs won’t be leaderless for long so she would have to start pushing the idea tomorrow. She would talk to Kin later and see if there leader would be willing to meet also.

Before returning to his stance he says one final thing. "If you can not get my old friend Adisa to listen let me talk to him." Then returns to his stance.

"Ho-" She cut herself off. She would ask him later. 'But how does he know my father? And it seems he knows him well...' She trailed off into deep thought.

Kin looked up at the moon and cursed under her breath, "Guys I was supposed to be home an hour ago. I'm sorry but if I don’t hurry they’ll send out a full scale search party. But really quickly, where are we meeting tomorrow night?" She asked the group while shifting into her wolf form.

Aleksandre sighed, and curled back in upon himself, silently agreeing with all the naysay against him. But at the same time, he wanted to take things further, to point out what these fools had been ignoring all along.
True, he had a bit of a will to fight, but he really didn't care whom, and deep down it was only a deep seated desire to protect those that he loved.
"You all forget about one resource that isn't currently available to you through ways of even your own prejudices..... the Nekomata. But of course... it's not my place to say. I'm an ignorant warhawk; A selfish creature who wants nothing more but to see to my own ends..." He replied after taking all the assorted abuses from those who were supposed to be promoting 'peace'. His voice was quieter this time, and thoughtful, though that darkness still remained.

((^^ Hi-o. I was given special permission to join via the Kitsu (Mutil cool speaking to Dragonfly, and I've sent my profile to her--though she is allowing me to post.))
Over the river and through the woods all over again, I suppose...
The thought crossed a nimble mind--he was always thinking, this son-of-a-deft-minded ruler... always perusing every last detail until the puzzle could be solved; a revolutionary.
Of course, red hair, rather, was symbolic of upheaval.
A thin, lithe young man he was; the prime specimen of his kind, in any aspect you would care to address. He was kind; political; wise beyond his years... but his father was in control. Always barking in that bass voice of his... always harping about one foul-up or another, and so very... pessimistic.
Father has never been fond of the wolves... he mused as he went, traveling admist the earthy foliage in search of the person he had told to wait. Imagine his reaction, if he were to find out where I was, right now...
He almost laughed...
That would've been complete turmoil in five seconds, flat.

Alek sighed as they all seemed to leave, knowing that he had gone unheard. Alas.. as he had actually spoken semi-thougtfully.
The fun was gone.. he went back to wait for his forbidden mate, even more unfulfilled than he imagined they were.

It was a moment before the red-headed boy spotted the group of lupine creatures; winged, pawed, or otherwise... but weren't they at war? Perhaps this was some kind of peace-rally...
He liked the thought--after all, it wouldn't get his father mad about the breaching of territorial boundaries... and maybe then, he might be able to appeal as a species for peace...
You might say he was a dreamer.
"Alek!" the boy's whisper was as low and quiet as he could manage, but he wanted to get his mate's attention without drawing any such notice to himself. "Aleksandre!"

One of Alek's ears twitched, and he turned back to the forest, acting as thoug he was tired of the other's company, and heading off, giving no sign of his affections until he was out of sight and range of hearing.
When this was accomplished, the man immediately smiled at his mate. "Shiro! My gods! I was begining to think that you'd been caught by ill wishers!!!!!" He seemed to be ecstatic, though the others comments had hit him hard and he was trying not to show it.
He hugged the smaller man , a whirlwind of relief showing tempestuously in his eyes.
