"I've never been with anyone Tamson!! I'm telling the truth" Merethist whimpered, a distressed and utterly confused look in his eyes. He was telling the truth, he didn't remember anything of what Tamson was saying!! When had he been with Charming?? The thought made him blush a bit but......he'd never been with anyone!! Merethist shifted in his seat and stared worriedly at Tamson.
"I honestly....don't know what you're talking about.." he said quietly, truthfully. When had he ever been alone with Charming?? He fetl frustration slip into his mind. "..I don't remember any of what you're saying!" he continued, abandoning his plans to eat the now cold porridge. This had put him off his food, he felt sick with worry and confusion.

"Merethist, are you trying to deny this because he's getting married?" Tamson had to ask. He could drop the subject if that was really the case behind Merethist's so-called ignorance. "Because you know you've been with Charming and I know you've been with Charming." He added quite simply. Merethist seemed to be bent on denying remembering anything by now.
Tamson spoke, "Okay then." He could only really think of one thing to do even though it sounded blunt. "He apparently took your virginity the day you tried to tell him you weren't a princess so he obviously found out through that. And then he went on some trip, saved a princess, and then kissed you at the ball celebrating the saving of the princess whereas some bad stuff happened seeing as he kissed you in public, but things were apparently fixed up. After that you guys started seeing eachother practically every day and now, right after his engagement, you're telling me you don't remember any of this." Simple as pie.

Merethist shook his head.
"of coarse not!! I'm very happy for him, at least he won't call me a princess anymore!!" Merethist said, blinking at Tamson. Why would he do something horrid like that?? He felt utterly confused, like he had woken up in another dimension or something.
"when...when did all this happen?? I don't remember doing any of it!! why would I do such things with someone I don't love??" he asked, utterly lost and confused by now. He had done all that??He blinked, shifting uncomfortably. Was Tamson mad at him for not knowing any of this?? He felt like crying!!

Tamson's brow furrowed. "All of it has happened in about the last few months!" Months due to Charming's departure for saving some princess and then coming back. "And I at least think you did love him, but now that you're talking like this I don't know what to think!" He wished he didn't, but a big part of him really suspected that Merethist was lying for some unknown reason.
"Well I'm rather sure you loved him seeing as you both did that." Although Tamson hadn't had the experience he suspected that two people usually loved eachother when they did such things. And Merethist he had been almost completely sure of, if not Charming! He didn't know what was up with the cherry blossom phantom today, but it was bothering him. Denial of such things was plainly wrong.

Merethist shook his head, tears pricking in his eyes. Tamson thought he was lying!! He wasn't, he really, really wasn't!! "I'm not lying!!" he said sadly, looking down at the plate of crumbs the bired had vacated, it had gotten too noisy for it. He let a couple of tears escape his eyes before burshing them away, raising his gaze to look at Tamson.
"I want that pink champagne, it tasted good and made me feel all tingly~" he pouted, recalling the drink he had gotten off of Princ Charming last night. He buried his face in his hands, not knowing what to do. "I'm not lying, Tam-Tam" he said miserably, why wouldn't anyone believe him??

Yesterday Merethist had been perfectly in love with Charming! Tamson didn't get it - didn't understand! How was it even possible for Merethist not to remember a thing? Though it was all too possible. His perceptions picked up when Merethist spoke of pink champagne. He had rather randomly floated through the ball last night and hadn't seen any pink champagne - that was what Merethist was talking about, right? "Pink champagne?" He furrowed his brows. Besides! How could Merethist crave champagne at a time like this?
"But you're not telling the truth either." Tamson spoke, brushing back his honey-blonde hair from his face as he gazed at Merethist.

Merethist was feeling down in the dumps, why couldn't he even remember or feel anything to do with Charming?? Was he really meant to be head over heels in love with him, if so, where was Charming now?? He nodded at Tamson. "Prince Charming offered me a glass of pink champagne yesterday and it made me feel all fuzzy and calm" he said, watching Tamson nervously, afraid Tamson would start yelling again.
"but....I don't feel anything for him now, Tam-Tam...i'm not lying" he whimpered, burying his head in his arms, suddenly wishing he was back asleep and away from all this confusion. What was happening to him??

"They don't make pink champagne here." Tamson protested as he listened to Merethist's description of the champagne. Yet if it were anything like a potion like that then why would Prince Charming have offered it to him...? Tamson just didn't understand it all! Merethist insisted that he hadn't made up his condition or anything, but how could Tamson believe that?
How could he believe it without any interferance? "Obviously we need to talk to Prince Charming." He declared rather simply. This seriously needed to be sorted out. Merethist and Charming had obviously had something. Now it was time to figure out what the hell had happened to that something in the span of about a day. And for some reason it looked as if the answer had something to do with pink champagne. Interferance was the only explanation by now.

Merethist looked confused at Tamson's comment, they didn't?? But then, why did he get given some last night?? "I did, Prince Charming gave me some" he insisted, looking at Tamson determinedly. "you can even ask him!" he finished, letting his gaze flicker around the garden and then to Tamson, he was horribly confused about everything still.
"I don't know where he is though, I haven't seen him since the ball" Merethist said quietly, if this was all going to be sorted out because of Charming. He wanted to find him quickly, just so he wouldn't feel so confused anymore.

"I've been to a few social events here and I've never seen pink champagne." Tamson replied simply. "Oh, we'll find him." He added, standing up. He watched as a little goblin scampered forth, probably to take away their breakfast now that it was gorwing cold in the first place. "Could you find Prince Charming and bring him, please?" Tamson asked politely, managing a small smile.
He watched the goblin agree. "Tell him it's urgent." He added. They were going to take care of this and they were going to take care of it now! He had to figure out what was wrong with Merethist and probably wouldn't be able to sleep until he did. Tamson had never been in love but he was aware that it was an important matter. Aware that whatever had happened, he, Merethist, and Charming had to figure it out, because theere was so obviously something wrong here.

Merethist nodded slowly, it had been pink champagne he had been given. He just knew it was, he had had some at Macy's ball. He sat back, his feet resting on the space of Chair infront of where he sat, knees to his chest as he waited for something to happen.
"do you think he will find the Prince??" he asked quietly, watching Tamson interact with the Goblin. He liked the Goblins, they showed you neat passages and secret rooms if you were nice to them and even saved you some of the best cake. He wasn't aware that anything was wrong, though Charming and Tamson obviously thought there was something wrong.

Tamson nodded. "I think he will." He replied rather simply, watching the goblin disapear before sitting back down and relazing into his seat. Prince Charming would probably been here any moment now and it seemed they had quite a bit to discuss! Well, obviously. Merethist was busily claiming he barely even knew Charming while he had been head-over-heels for him the day before.
It only took a little while for the blonde prince to round the corner. Tamson looked up at him perceptively. "We need to figure out what's going on here." Tamson declared, attempting to take some charge of the situation. As least Charming was here now. That might save some trouble. Charming approached Tamson and Merethist slowly - the goblin had told him where to come and now he wasn't too sure if he wanted to be here or not. Merethist was here. He didn't know what was up with Merethist, but... He didn't know what was going on, who was he kidding! He walked forward, listening to Tamson speak. What?
"Obviously." He replied, avoiding looking to Merethist.

Merethist fidgeted a little as they waited, feeling very much like the oblivious child. He didn't know what was going on with him, if he was supposed to love Charming, then why all of a sudden didn't he?? He didn't even have any memories of importance with Charming, he sighed, pouting over his apparent misfortune.
Merethist looked up as Charming approached, still feeling apprehensive over being near the Prince. He had thought him a woman and had apparently stolen his virginity, what was he supposed to say?? He listened to them talk, wondering why the Prince didn't look at him, did he look repulsive?? He patted his head and looked at his dress, no he didn't have anything repulsive on him. So why was Charming giving him the cold shoulder??
"what are we talking about though?? I told you Tam-Tam, I barely know Prince Charming" Merethist said, wondering again why Tamson was being so stubborn on the subject.

Prince Charming finally looked to Merethist as he spoke. Barely knew him? That again?! Oh, he was tired of that. Amazingly tired of it. He'd thought about it all night and now he was here and he got it again. He didn't know if Merethist was acting or what and he didn't care anymore, quite frankly! Merethist was being just plain rude by now! Charming almost unconciously shifted a few feet away from the cherry blossom phantom. He had convinced himself to be disgusted. Tamson watched Charming and Merethist and frowned at Charming's obvious hostile reaction to Merethist's speech. "That's what he tells me, Prince Charming. A shock after all he's been doing is gushing about you." Tamson voiced calmly, keeping his frustration at bay. "And then he comes out of the blue and tells me he likes pink champagne." The fairy raised a brow at Charming.

Merethist looked at Charming and then at Tamson, feeling like the bad person here. He hadn't done anything wrong!! So why was everyone angry with him?! He buried his head in his arms and fell silent, opening his mouth seemed to cause problems, so perhaps he'd keep it shut and let them talk about him.
"but, Prince Charming gave me some!!" he insisted; voice muffled by his arms. "I drank some, started to panic about something and then I don't know what I was panicking over..I felt calm...and I only had one glass!!" he continued, finally looking up and letting his gaze flick from Charming to Tamson and then back to Charming.
