Jackie walked around town with a beanie to cover her ears, even though it was the middle of (summer?).She sighed heavily as she looked at all of the signs in the store windows she passed. She did also notice how people stared at her as she walked on by, giving her strange looks and pointing fingures. But that just caused her to wrap her arms even more around herself as she continued on walking. "Hm..." She sighed as she walked to a park and sat alone on a bench as she bit her lip.

((welcome to the RP, im not the owner, but feel free to post whenever and umm, you can either catch up to us, or be alrdy in the goup...x3))
Kioko had gained speed and saw what happened to crow..
the pieces of bark that had flown all overr the place was headed for her...
with one swift motion, kioko picked up her board and slid down the rest of the way, using her board as a shield to block the fast moving barks...
"whew, are you okay?" Kioko said slowing down her pace before she went off the cliff...
Kioko dusted off the sprayed dirt on her clothes before getting a good look at the cliff and the waterfall on the otherside...
"wow, now thats a BIG cliff..." Kioko said looking down and whistling...

Crow nodded, he looked back at the bark he'd left behind, now spread further out. He bowed his head to Kioko breifly in apology. He now joined Kioko in looking over the cliff, it was quite the drop. He could only wonder where they go from here.

Strobe skidded to a stop behind them.
"The cliff is much more sheer that I thought it would be." he said, looking down, "Maybe I can..." he concentrated hard, forming the farmiliar plasma tendrils, but trying to control them more like arms than blasts. With much effort, he cut several hand and foot holds into the rocky face. He then collapsed slightly: he hadn't been trained to do that yet.

"are you okay?" Kioko asked strobe, then down at the cuts he had made...
"this was your first time trying that out wasnt it?" Kioko asked, putting her hands to Stobe's chest and a blue glow emitted fro her, healing Strobe
"there, that should work.." Kioko said wiping her sweat and stared this time, cloesly at the cuts...
"its a little shallow, but i think we can use those as footholds..."

"Thanks, Kioko, and that was the general idea." he said, hoping over the side and taking a hold of a pair of the gashes. he began to climb down towards rock and surf.

Crow followed trend, and hopped over the edge. Before falling away he grabbed onto one of the artificial ledges, putting him right next to Strobe, he nodded a thanks, then let go. He dropped past several of the gashes before extending his opposite arm to grab ahold of another. He did this several times, dropping dozens of feet at a time until he'd reached the bottom.

kioko whistled at how far crow already went...
"well, i have my own ways too i guess..." Kioko said morphing into a flying squirrel and hopped off the edge....
she spread her legs and hands apart and the skin in between them opened up and allowed her to glide down the cliff, occasionally grabbing a ledge to keep her balance up...

Strobe knelt bt a rock to cover himself from any potential threats. Apparently, they were on a coastline, somewhere not so tropical, but touching the ocean nontheless.
"This cliff is probably connected to a beach of some sort." said Strobe, looking around. He quickly stepped back, becoming almost compltely submerged, holding onto the stone to prevent himself from being dragged away by the current. Overhead, a small hover craft, about the size of a frisbee, floated down, it's artificial intelligence seeking the source of the barcode signatures it was detecting.

Crow looked out into the water as Strobe spoke. He went out a ways, then touched the water. After allowing it to envelop his hand he drew it back and shook the water off, he didn't find it to be the most pleasent sensation. He stepped back and looked out to the water again. He still hadn't noticed the device tracking them.

Kioko herd the machine a ways off with her squirrel ears...Her head turned into that direction...
"not good....it was much faster then i expected..." Kioko said looking at everyone...
"maybe, if we head into town by following this coastline, we can be safe, its not like they are going to harm humans, that completely against what they made us for..." kioko said looking in the direction west to her...

Crow followed Kioko's gaze towards the small seacraft, once he realized what it was he glared at with a fierce look in his eyes. However after hearing what Kioko had said he decided against attacking it, she was probably right about going into town. He looked at Strobe and Kioko before heading in the direction she had indicated.

Jackie sighed softly as her eyes fluttered open. "It seems that I have fallen asleep..." She said softly as she sat up and yawned, her small fangs showing. A mother with her young boy saw her and immediately took his hand in her own and hastily headed in the direction she had come in. She sighed again but it was more deep this time. "Every day..." She mumbled to herself as she stood up, her onyx eyes scanning the area. She adjusted her beanie a bit before wrapping her arms around herself like she did before and walking out of the park she was in. She headed in the direction of the beach, hoping it would make her feel more at peace. 'I need to think for awhile...' She thought to herself as she kept her eyes on the pavement.
Once she arrived on the beach she took off her shoes and walked on the sand, her bare feet heated from the warm sand. She went out to a secluded area and sat down on a flat rock. It seemed as though nobody was around, so she took off her beanie and shook her head, letting her long amber hair loose. She smiled slightly as she watched the water, seeing a pair of dolphins jump out and do a flip as though it would seem only for her. She sighed again, only this time it was more joyful. More happy. "Alone at last..." She said softly to herself as she brought her knees to her chest and rested her chin on them. She then just watched the ocean in silence, not wanting to disturb its natural beauty.

Strobe slowly inched westward along the rocky outcrop, hugging the wall for fear of the current. he wondered why the small machine was having such a hard time tracking them, and so he, once again, looked to his barcode. the glowing dot was now a fluxuating circle, and the only factor that had changed was the water.
"The water must distort the signal..." he whispered under his breath. He turned to Kioko and, using the hand sign system that the training had tought him, sent her a rough message.
'Wet arm stop signal destroyed stop temporary stop'
