The guards changed direction and led Kanji into a dark set of stairs. He could see this was coming and decided to take action. Kanji planted his right foot into the stomach of the guard carrying his sword, throwing it in the air. Kanji snapped it up and swung the blade into the side of the front guards head slicing it in two. The other two guards tried to block both exits. Kanji parried a stab from one of the guard's and slamed the hilt of his sword into the fleshy part of the guards neck. The guard crumpled. Kanji danced away from the other guard's blade, pinning the crude sword to the wall. Kanji stabed the sword into the gap between the guard's armor. kanji left the brutal scene to explore the castle.

Jarvis_Tera He noticed Reya and cleared his throat. "Young lass, you seem to be very skilled in what you do, and I could use your skills later on in this war of paranoia. I'd like you to join my army," he said sternly. Reya eyed the king calmly, listening carefully to what he had to say. "My job as a mercenary requires me to be such a person. But I am surprised that the royal family would be asking to recruit a mercenary with not so much of a background of a knight. I will join your army on the conditions that you tell me all you know about this war and that Kleineshe and I work at our own discretion. We will follow orders, yes, but we will also do what we see fit for the situation."

meganargetlam Alli sat up, rubbing her eyes drowsily, she looked around, and sprang up. "Not again!" She ran out of the room, and ran into someone. She fell down onto her butt, and looked at the girl she bumped into. "P-princess!" Marimeia smiled and curtsied with holding the skirt of her. "Hello again Miss.Alli...I've been informed you are in my custody..."

Minutes go by but Kanji never sees sight of anyone that looks helpful. He walks odown the grim looking corridors.

"W-What?" Alli scrambled up. "But..." She looked around frantically, and ran to the balcony. "FREY!" She yelled, bending over the railing. "FREY!" She shook a bit. "Not again..." She whispered, and walked back in, seeing her packs. She sat crosslegged on the floor, and took a piece of jerky out. "Argh!" She bit into it, and tore a piece off with her teeth, chewing it thoroughly.

Now, as for what I know about this war, it is based on paranoia. According to what I've been told a few of the Dragon King's knights took in a sorceress who was banished from this land. She claimed that she had been sent for business and cast a spell upon the Dragon nation. Now we are at war."

Zarina had been walking for some time now. She wasn't sure where she was going, but she just wanted to get somewhere. Mizu was at her side with every bit of loyalty in him. "Mizu...do you know anywhere for us?" she asked quietly as she continued walking. Mizu lightly shook its head and grunted in response. "I'm guessing that's a no?" asked Zarina with a small chuckle.

So she's responsible for breaking the bonds between humans and dragons?" Reya looked at Kleineshe who also looked troubled. So now we're dealing with a condemned sorceress...Yes we are, Kleineshe. It seems logical...we'll need to look more into this. Reya said mentally, nodding at Kleineshe before facing the king again. "All right. We will accept your offer and join your army. I ask that you treat us well. I am Reya, and this is my partner, Kleineshe." She introduced both herself and Kleineshe to the king, placing her right hand over her heart and standing straight in respect to the king. She preferred not to bow down for she had her own pride.

Alli took another bit of jerky, chewing it and looking at the princess. "I'm only staying here until Frey comes back... you know that right?" She stood up, brushing herself off. She took her scarf off, and set it on the couch. She walked out into the hall, and turned to the Princess, bowing. "So Princess," She smiled. "Can I have a tour?"
