venom looks at her "cause i know how it feels to have no family to live in an orphanage" he said. "i feel the pain inside me and inside you living with out a mother's tender hug" he said as a tear rolls down his eyes

"They'll come back... they promised..." She ran off at top speed, refusing to look back. She tripped and fell down, tears dropping down off her face. "They promised..."

"Oh yea?" Daphne snapped, "So do we, us heroes, and instead of turning evil and unleashing a hoard of demons among the innocent, we help the innocent so they wont have to go through the same thing." She poked Venom in the chest and walked after Alli, she approached the girl, "You okay?" She asked in her 'I'm trying to be sympathetic but failing miserably' voice.

Alli glared at Daphne. "Do you care?" She asked bitterly, she ignored the sparks that were appearing between her fingers.

She looked back at Venom, "No, but I did see my family blown to pieces when I couldn't control my powers and hit the wrong note."

Alli stared at the ground, tears still streaming down her face. She picked her hands up, and glared at Venom. "And here you are, controlling possibly the same demons that probably did the deed!" She yelled, standing up.

venom heard the girls comment " i was only 4 when my parents where whredded into pieces by the demons these are my own demons" he yelled then the gates of hell appeared in front of him "ill see you soon" he said entering the gate and the demons all followed.

Alli glared at the spot where he had been. "I hate my life." She muttered, and got up, brushing herself off. "Goodbye." She said to Daphne, and ran back to the city.

Alli went back to the school roof. She had managed to find her, luckily, unharmed backpack. She sat down, and took out an MP3 player. She put the earphones in, and closed her eyes, singing along. "Once upon a year gone by, She saw herself give in..." She sang, not realizing how loud she was singing. ((The song is Paradise by Vanessa Carlton ))

Alli started crying again, without realizing it. She continued singing, eventually becoming quieter, and at the end she pulled her knees up to her chest. She hated how much that song fit her life, but she couldn't stop listening to it.
