A young woman wearing a cloak entered the park. She kept the hood up, concealing her face, but she was shorter even than the Queen of Hearts.

Laurel Talbot "I suspect that your husband misses you, the year is beginning to wane. Would you like me to cut that for you?" Alice produced a large knife from under her apron, an apron that, on closer inspection, had some splatters of blood on it. Blitz stopped in front of Blitz, copying his stance precisely. (lol, I know this alice) The Goddess offered the fruit back, "yes please, that could be helpful. I suppose my husband does, but my mother will be the one to display her sorrows more openly."

((ED, you and everyone else here know at least two of them, and Daypaw knows a third. One has already been introduced whom no one knows, but most of them have made at least an appearance in Everywhere and Nowhere.))
The masked woman in purple finally stepped out into the open to approach the two Blitzes. "Hi!" she greeted them with a ghost of childlike cheer. "I'm the Purple Jinx. Which one of you isn't Blitz?"
A couple in ancient court regalia entered the park, her hand on his arm, and paced with measured steps directly to the throne, then bowed and curtsied slowly. She was a dark brunette, dressed in stunning midnight blue with silver trim and all shades of emerald scattered over her dress and golden mask, as if at random, and wore no jewelry. He was dressed in a black half-cloak and foreign dress, a hose shirt as tight as underarmor and as revealing with smooth, forest green pants so wide in the leg that they looked like a skirt. His spiky blond hair was his most striking feature, and his mask was a simple black one. "The Baroness Widow and Consort," he announced to the queen softly. "We understand you wish no names, but... it is not our desire to intrude upon the guest list, should you not welcome strangers this night."
The Baroness Widow merely gazed into Ruby's gray eyes with her own, silent.

"Hooray!" ((God this is weird to see in blue...)) She hugged them both and gave the real Blitz a kiss on the cheek. "I always wondered. Oh, look, a Batman!" She skipped over to one of the writer's favorite characters with a forcedly youthful bounce, trying to recapture past days.

The butterfly girl nodded to the queen with a hesitant curtsy and passed wide-eyed into the crowds. Like so many, she took Miran to be Draco at first, but something stopped her. Why would Draco come as himself? Yes, it is an easy costume, but didn't he have another one? She turned to ask him. "Excuse me," the girl began in a light, polite voice, "I wondered... Mi--! Uh, um, uh...m. Sorry, Mister, ah, well--nevermind. You're-- yes? You are? I'm sorry to have interrupted you... at..." She looked around, realizing he had not been in the middle of discussion. "...Your night... Are you here alone, then? Yes, of course you are. Sorry, I... Are you really..? Um..."
She seemed bewildered, a thousand thoughts trying to make their way past her lips before she discarded them.

((Indeed. Now guess which one is the writer's favorite.))
Casper floated over to the two Blitzes and echoed Blitz, "That's awfully annoying." He spun around a few times and suddenly wore a cartoonish version of their costume.
