Azure had not noticed the absent of Raken's shadow bird, he had been so distracted by everything else. Fear grew inside him as they moved further to the edge of the forest. Azure wondered if it would be obvious to Raken that something had changed between them. Dyas looked to be alright to Azure, that made him feel a little better knowing that she was feeling alright. "Oof." Azure exhaled as he was nudged by Dyas. He looked to his side and smiled at her, that made him feel much better now and more relaxed. Azure playfully nudged her back.

Her smile broadened as he nudged her back, free hand reaching up to tuck a bit of soft hair behind an ear. Yeah...everything was going to be just fine...they moved out of the forest, her eyes flicking up. Maybe not. Raken stood ontop of the rise leading up to the cave, leaning against the mouth. As they immerged, he stretched his wings out and started walking towards them. "Dyas...will you go in and set out our plates for dinner? I'll be right in."

Azure's mouth formed a tiny slit as he saw Raken standing just above and ahead of them. Azure had to demand himself to let go of Dyas' hand. He didn't want her to go, being alone with Raken was a scary thought. But it seemed holding onto her hand with fingers laced might only make things worse for the impression Raken was receiving. Azure's hand snapped open to let go of Dyas and moved to his side. Fearful eyes watched as Raken moved closer, unsure of what Raken knew.

She didn't know what was going on, but her father did not look happy. The coolness to his voice...the lack of pae around...and the biggest thing, azure letting go of her hand so quickly. She suddenly felt, very alone. The girl looked at the blue angel and quickly moved forwards, her head bowed as she walked past her father towards the cave. Oh, he saw their hands by how their arms were angled so closely together, even from his distance. Dyas then slowly started to walk up, looking so lost...his heart almost hurt. He didn't look at her though as she started to walk past him, eyes foward. "...Why?" The male asked softly, and saw her stiffen in the corner of his vision before continuing. "You know Azure...I gave the bird just one order. Small brains, so can't handle much." He spoke softly, though it carried as he moved closer and closer. The shadows around them pulled to him as he created anothe orb, soon creating the midnight creature to perch on his arm. Raken reached up and gently patted the thing before stopping just three feet from azure. "Come back to me should you two kiss."

Azure's jawline dropped slightly. No... Dyas looked so sad, but if he reached out to comfort her now then he might never be able to see her again. Azure listened to Rake, at first not understanding what he was talking about. When the bird appeared on Raken's shoulder, Azure all of a sudden realized that he hadn't seen that bird since it made that cry after they came from beneath the waterfall. He looked at Raken blankly and unsure of what to say, afraid that anything he did say would incriminate him. Azure's breath was trapped in his chest, unable to escape.
[Now things get scary.]

She stiffened at the word, her eyes widening as her heart seemed encased in stone. Then she was running, soft hair flowing behind her as she dashed into the darkness of the cave. All the while telling herself not to cry. Her father didn't want her to ever cry. "It came back Azure." As soon as the name left his lips, the male let go of his shadow orb, the bird disapearing into a wisp of black smoke quickly gone. "It came back when I trusted you. I knew you two have known eachother for a while...but I thought the idea of losing her entirely would have been enough...You know what happens now." In violation to rule number 2...he was now forbidden to ever see her again.
OOC: I feel sssooo bad for the two teens. Raken is TICKED even though he appears so calm

Azure hoped that Raken wouldn't find out, but that hadn't been enough. Azure's eyes softened as he stared at Raken, unable to believe what he was saying. He couldn't believe that Raken had ever trusted him. "I don't want to lose her. I can't lose her!" Azure regretted his actions more then anything now. Azure's gaze was hard on Raken. He had forgotten what the rules were and had done something to break them, but he wasn't going to let Raken tell him no.

"You broke the agreement Azure." His voice was harder now, colder. "You knew the consequences you faced and you agreed to the terms. But you still violated it." He kept his gaze steady on the other, filled with icy intellect. "I can only hope now that Dyas has not yet fallen for you. It may already be too late." His daughter already cared for the angel so much, her only friend outside of family. It was too easy to be pushed to the next level...all too easy...
OOC: 3nodding >>leans forwards slightly<< this rp's getting real good!

Azure shook his head violently from side to side. "No! I forgot. I didn't mean to break it. She's just..." Azure's voice began to trail off into a softness when he spoke about Dyas. "You should ask Dyas for yourself... I can't speak for her." Azure spoke when Raken mentioned Dyas falling for him. Although Azure couldn't speak for himself either, he had no older figure to explain to him what was going on and what he felt. Him kissing Dyas just felt right.
[This is getting good. Not that it wasn't good before]

And just like that...the male sighed, shoulders slumping slightly. Like this...one could see the weariness in his body, strained from doing everything for so, so long. "Azure...you know just as well as I that it is probably the only thing she would ever lie to me about. Just to keep you near. It might not even be intentional, unable to match a name to the bundle of emotions inside her. If she has them." Raken took a step forwards then, the weariness disapearing to be replaced with his usual demeaner. "Go home now Azure. And please, don't come back. Forgotten or remembered...you have to face the consequences."
OOC: XD hai hai! I'm really wondering how this'll work out...

Azure dropped his head, hoping now that she had no feeling for him. That way she wouldn't get hurt if he suddenly disappeared from her life after the great night they had just had. He doubted that Raken would tell her the truth about him. "Why haven't you told her about it?" Azure asked. He stood straight and completely still even as Raken moved closer and told him to leave. Azure wouldn't even attempt to go home without saying goodbye to Dyas.
[Me too. They may have to get all sneaky sneaky]

"...Most pae don't see that love, only complicates matters. It blinds you...makes the simple suddenly complex...and if its true, it hurts, a lot. I want to sheild her from it if possible...but I know she'd never understand that love wasn't what she read in romance novels. And moreso, she would only see it as me distroying a friendship..." The shadows gathered around his feet, twisting and writhing. "So I'll warn you one last time." The shadows climbed on one another, becoming bigger as they morphed. A panther soon stood next to him, eyes on Azure and waitin for the signal. "Leave."
OOC: how ever would they get in contact though to arrange the sneaky meetings?

Azure listened to Raken's monologue. After thinking about it, Azure realized he had never seen Raken with Dyas' mother. "Just because of whatever happened between you and Dyas' mom doesn't mean you can just make assumptions about what will happen between me and Dyas." Azure was making a blind stab at Raken based on assumptions he hadn't thoroughly thought out. "Of course she would see you as destroying our friendship. Thats what you're doing, and you're lying to her by not telling her..." Azure now had goosebumps because of all the emotion that was coursing through him.
[Oh, I have no idea. Uh oh]

Surprisingly enough, Raken smiled as he shook his head, crossing his arms. "So you think my views on love are based on what happened between me and fre? No...no. I've had these views since I was a child and saw my first elder." What took him aback though was that azure didn't so much as try to deny that there was any 'more then friend' feelings. Raken would never believe him, but that seemed like the typical response to it. Azure wasn't that bad really, just made some bad decisions. "I'm not lying to her." He spoke flatly, the panther suddenly growling as it felt the shift of emotions. "She already knows I'm not for her and you together. She knows that I don't want her falling in love with you. She knows that if she does, I'll likely try to terminate the problem. Dyas just doesn't know the worded deal between us."
OOC: XD this is what happens when you mess around with one of the smartest pae on the island. Ever since he was a child he wanted to be an elder, and worked insanely hard to meet it. Especially since he didn't get his power until he was an adult, so was majorly far behind. But in that time he was able to read. a lot.

Azure looked at Raken questionably, "what does that have to do with Dyas and me?" he shook his head. At least, it seemed to Azure, he had been right about something happening. Azure looked up at Raken sadly, trying to fight for the ability to see Dyas again. "I didn't mean to, its not like I have someone telling me what I'm feeling or what I'm doing. I just want to be friends with Dyas.... she's my closest and best friend." Azure's voice was solemn and sincere and his head hung low. He doubted that Raken would understand the trouble he was having, but it was worth a try.
[Has raken filled out an elder app.?]
