Kibo: It hurts like hell while the blade is going through your neck, but after that, the pain kind of disappears.

Kibo: Not me personally. One of the other Kibo Botches. When we go in this body, we get all the memories he's had through the years.

Misaki frowned.
"You are a ullulae, then?"
She edged a step closer to Storm and one away from Kibo.
"Ne'er did trust ye, lad. Now ye give me a goo' excuse no' ta."
Hantore had is battle axe in hand now and was bouncing it up and down against his plated shoulder with a dull clank each time. Storm eyed Kibo, somewhat like a preditor looks at it's prey.
"You...exchange bodies then, yes?"

Kibo: Not me. The whole aging thing has been kinda reversed between the body and soul. The body stays like this forever, but the soul ages and dies. When the soul is a split second from death, the Kibo's guardian takes another soul and puts it into the body to take over. But Kibo's body and mind have become incredibly trained in the... I've heard Kibo is anywhere from 600 to 600,000 years old. But most guardians settle somewhere around 7,000, or so.
Kibo holds his hand out, and Hantore's axe handle splits, the head falling to the deck.
Kibo: Can you stop that? It's quite annoying. Anyway, my guardian's Farind. He found Antoine Pristen and put his soul into this body. So, as to answer your question, no, I don't exchange bodies. I exchange souls.

"Ye, do kno' 'ow ta pick 'em, don' ye, lassy?"
Hantore would have lounged for Kibo then, except Misaki touched his shoulder, lightly. Once again, her contact seemed to calm and the dwarf settled back.
"My mother always said that ullulae's were cursed, from some wrong doings in a previouse life, that they might forever haunt the worlds and never move on to the next one, or life."
To that, Storm laughed.
"I never took you to be a superstiouse one, Misaki."

Kibo: They are cursed. The souls die, and can never pass on into the next life. Have you ever thought about just ceasing to exist? No afterlife or anything. It's a scary thought. That's why I've been working on a new type of mancing. One that the world has never seen before. Phasmamancy; control of one's spirit. Necromancy controls the soul physically. Phasmamancy, however, controls the soul, by keeping it from passing onto other plains. I've been working on it in secret for years, pausing only to research magic before the sea battle.

Storm was now eyeing Kibo's forearm's, where she knew his marks were hidden. She reverated then back to her forced nauseating cheeryness.
"And how is that little project coming along then, mate?"

Kibo: It's not on my arm. Phasmamancy is my own invention, and therefore I need no other souls to use it. And sofar, I've only been able to preserve my body for a few years. The souls, once exposed to aging, die quite quickly. Usually within a year. I've preserved my soul several times as long.

Storm gave a little laugh and a two fingerd salute to Kibo.
"My hat is off to you, then. May you live a hundred more so that I might torment you."

Kibo: No it wasn't. She asked me what Storm did to me to make me hate her so much, but I asked what I did to her, to make her want to torment me for the next hundred years.
