*After sitting on a ship for a good amount of time, a glimpse of the New York City skyline caught his eye. The smells of various foods, waste, and car exhaust filled the air as the ship was getting closer to the port. After a few moments of intense concentration, Kamahl smelled something else practically unnoticeable to the few mortals walking about the ship.....the stench of death has gotten stronger since the last time he was here. The tattered remains of his shirt moved about as a gust of wind blew by and the expression on his face became more serious. The winds of change were making this city into the encarnation of death and the home of many of the nightwalkers.....vampires, lycanthropes, demons, and God knows what else. A few minutes pass by and the docks were getting closer. Kamahl slowly made his way towards the place where he and others would get off of the ship. The ship eventually came to a stop and he walked off of the ship via a plank. The sewers were nearby so this would make a good place to start his journey to the center of the city. In the same pace as he got off of the ship, he made his way towards a nearby manhole. With ease he lifts the lid off of it, climbs down the ladder, and manages to put the lid back where it belongs. His pilgrimage to the lycan stronghold has begun......*

Cady sits on the deck chair he'd brought with him, his human driver watches from the roadside. He was inheriting Cady's money and yet he feelt at a loss. He'd tried to talk the vampire out of it but he had had no luck. This was the end of his master.
The light from a sun not quite in vew was already dyeing the sky a weak red color, barely detectable to all but the most sensetive. Cady could already feel it's heat. Cady pulls out his silver cigarette case and draws a cigarette from it, placing it in his mouth before pulling his lighter from another pocket. By the time the lighter is put away Cady is exhaling the first draw, then it happened. He was waiting for it but it wasn't expected. The sun begins to peak over the waterbound horizon, it's deadly rays colliding with Cady. Some were rebounded by the generous shielding he'd allowed himself. He wanted to see the sunrise one last time.
More and more of the sun comes into view and saltry teardrops roll down Cady's burned cheek. The pain was nothing but at this moment Cady felt more Human than he ever had, and the sight of the sun had brought memories back. Joyfull memories of an age go past when he was a proud and strong mortal man.
Cady's skin begins to redden faster now, and where it's thinnest begins to burn away, becoming smouldering ash before blowing in the sea breeze. The sun is fully half risen now and it's blazing heat strikes down on the world, and Cady smiles even as his lips burn away. Cady's hair ignites and burns away and now there was no pain.
The process took only a few minutes, longer than it would have normally but the shielding had slowed it down enough for Cady, but then, sugenly as if a sudden burning hot blast had hit him Cady dissintergrates, even his ancient bones do not survive the heat of the sun and soon there is nothing left of Cady but dust in the wind.
Cady's limo drives away
((OOC: And that's it. The end of Cady. I might be back from time to time to watch people or chat in OOC, or even come back as a different character, but for now. goodbye, and sorry for anyone who might miss me (or might have wanted a chance to kill me themselves.) ))

tyler arived at the docks on his new bike. his friend was waiting for him with a breafcase filled with info on the cult. tyler stoped his bike and looked around. no one was there. his friend was another lone wolf. they helped each other out from time to time but his friend was becoming reckless. [ie he's the target... the friend not me] the two chat for a while about old times then tyler speeks up.
"you got the data?"
"shure do. right here. so much info that i bet the hunters don't even have this much." his friend chuckled.
"don't get cocky. the hunters are good. real good."
"ya ya i know.... but there not that good."
"so sly? can i get the info now?" he asked.
"shure shure... but why are you so intrested in these guys all the sudden?" sly asked.
"just helping out a few new friends" tyler replied as he took the bag.
"ya ya shure...look i think i was folowed so i'll be leaving now ok?"
"ok... good luck sly" replied tyler as he waved good by.
tyler got on his bike and headed up the ramp... but some new "friends" were there to greet him. they didn't look very happy either. each of them was on a chopper and had their fair shair of guns on them. tyler just drove past calmly. but this wasn't pleasing the new guys... they opend fire on him. they chased him all the way to the graveyard.

Shadow slowly but gracefully and steadily, walks up to the docks. The sun was already more than set infront of him, not enough to harm him. When he reached the end of the dock, he sat at the end and tried to relax. Across the water in front of him, the sun was now almost completely gone, and his sensitive ears picked up ocean waves, seagulls, and even faint cars coming from the highway a few miles back. He closed his eyes and tried not to think about lycans, blood, vampires, death, fighting, or any of it. It was hard. He wasnt cut out fot this meditation stuff. Deep inside of him, he new he was ment to fight. He remembered his mentor, and new he must not die in vain.
Suddenly rage purged through his veins like the hot fresh blood when he feeds, and almost instinctivley leaped out of his sitting position and had his masurame drew before he landed in a ready position with one leg straight out to his side and the other crouched underneath him, ready to push his body weight at whatever he needed to with quick speed and accuracy. He heard something behind him move. The same sound that made him snap out of his relaxed state in the first place. Without question, he pushed himself up and spun around, bringing the sword fast around his body, accuratly aiming for the sound. He felt the sword slice through something and smelled blood before he hit the ground again and return the sword to its sheath. with one steady eye he glanced at what he had just hit. Laying on the ground was a bloody and cut-in-two seagull. Shadow closed his eyes and sighed. and what if that had been someone innocent, or another vampire? I cant let this rage control me, I have to think befor I act before I hurt someone I dont mean to.
Shadow started to walk away, slowly, thinking of his past and wondering about his future. He was young, and he had much to learn. The thing he needed now the most, was some kind of mentor to replace his old one. Someone who knew about the vampire ways...

Echo walked sloly over the docks, past all of the tied boats, and found herself at the end of the dock she was on. Where she could only see water, and the island across it. She sat down on the damp dock, slid her feet in the water, and felt the chill pressing in on her water-proof boots. Kicking her feet relaxingly, she tried to chill-out and get out of her own head.

Stares at the water then grabs a fish" Lunch" She eats it silently. She wipes her mouth clean then throws fishbome into the water. " Real nice here...real nice.."

Luna walked to the Dock and stared at the water thinking of when the Lycans and the other races will come. While she was staring in the water she heard a loud noise behind her. When she turned around nothing was there.

Echo stood, slowly, and stretched. "Time to go," she muttered. This dock is soaked compared to when I came, she worried. While walking the rest of the way across the dock, she screamed and fell into the deep water. "s**t, this is bad.." she gargled.

Bridget paddled the raft over to a ships mast that was still sticking out of the water
and tied up the raft. She used an Aqua-lung and flippers and went over the side
into the murky water. Practically all the boats were sitting there placidly except for a few which had risen to as tight the mooring lines would let them. She spent the next 30 minutes seaching the boats for equipment and finally found a boat worth taking.... She was a beauty. The boat was a yacht and attacthed to it was a medimum sized boat; probably to go to shore when anchored and serve as a life boat if the worst happen.
Bridget got to work immediately and released the boat and followed it's ascent to the surface. Once up she flipped the boat and climbed in and used the oars to get
to the ship's mast where the raft was tied up. Bridget then went back down and grabbed what she had looted from the other ships and came up to the surface and climbed into the boat. She used the oars to take her back up the river and onto the streets(she figure the motor wouldn't work because of there being water mixed with the gasoline). She made it home and it was almost dark...time for the
vamps and lycans to come out and they had to be starving since thier food supply left. It should make for an interesting night for them

Bridget went back under with the aqua-lung and searched some of the more mundane boats and came up with several large cans of gasoline(sealed), she picked up 5 flare guns and ammo, several bottles of wine and a couple of cases of beer. Sanchez took the loot and they made for one of the liners...there they came up with more gasoline and checked out the security area where the cameras were
ans disabled them... then proceeded to use several shape charges to blow the safe.
Inside the safe they found gems and jewelry, cash, old coins and bearer bonds.
"Have to finance this war somehow." and winked at Sanchez. They repeated this two more times and had a pretty nice haul when they decided to call it quits.
Unfortunately they had pushed thier luck a little to far this time. There were 10 vampires all totaled facing them and they definitely had that feral "here's dinner"
look on thier faces. Sanchez cut loose with his AR14 while Bridget pulled both her
Glock9mm with practiced ease and began to shoot.
Sanchez took down 2 vampires with his first burst and so did Bridget leaving 6 vampires left to reach them. 3 on each of them...this was going to get ugly. Bridget swept low to slow them down and knee-capped one of her three leaving 2
to actually get to her. Sanchez flexed the muscles of his right hand and a derringer
popped out and blew a hole thru one then they were on him. 2:1 not bad odds but she would like it to be better...she managed to get to her leaf blade and pull it half-way out when she got hit hard in the face and it spun her around. "Think damn you...focus or die." Bridget thought as she countered with a side-kick of her own and a palm-heel thrust to the others face staggering both of them. Sanchez
had manged to get one and twist his neck sharply breaking it and letting him fall to the floor. The cobwebs clearing she finished getting her leaf blade out and went on the offensive. Bridget did a series of blows aimed high then dropped and rolled by
the vampire striking at his 'Hamstrings' slicing thru and causing him to drop to the floor. The last two thought descrestion was the better part of honor ran for it.
Sanchez pulled his pistol and hit one solidly in the back while Bridget threw the leaf blade and nailed the vampire in the middle of his back . It didn't take long to finish off the vampires and Bridget took thier heads and dumped them overboard.

Myyth looked at him, a bit weirded out. What was up with him all of a sudden, he was never this paranoid.....
"There isn't anyone here to hear us.......and if there were, chances are I'd hear them first. Are you feeling ok?"

As Omki walked around his throat and he start to become short of breath. He tries to shake it off and then leans on a trash can. " W-what hell... what happened to the air...?!" HE asked quitely.

Tara walked up to the docks, heading away from the crowded area to a secluded dock that had a scroungy row boat ties to up. She was hungry and could no longer afford to wait. Swimming in the moonlight, not an option. She kept her hat on, tilted slightly over her face to hide her pale complextion and fangs which hung slightly over her lips.
She grabbed a rod from in the row boat, a dead cat layed on the bottom. She raised her lip, the thing had obviously been sucked dry but the meat would be good bait. She slid out a kife and hacked the foot of the cat off, no blood spilled out from the leg. She had been right.
She pushed the cat paw onto the hook and casted out into the water. She needed a big fish tonight.
