Focused on Sonja and Hana, Dalton completely missed the other girl’s entire entrance. Hearing Vanyel’s out burst he jotted down a note to confront him later on the subject for now was neither the time nor place. “ Hana you probably just some were you shouldn’t have been,” he reassured her, “ Hey Sonja you finish unpacking yet? I saw you moving your things earlier?” Looking back to his sandwich he noticed there was another stranger sitting at their table. By the looks of it she new Vanyel which means she couldn’t be all bad. Maybe she was even his girl friend. Who knew? Trying to make a good first impression Dalton offered his hand, “ Hi, I’m Dalton.”

Vanyel slammed his hands on the table and stood up. Now he was irritated, these guards just had to go. Clapping his hands together he focused his alchemy on the metal wires that was attached to his left arm and that connected the many pieces of metal located throughout his clothes. He created a lance in his hand and took off in the direction of the new blast. He couldn't believe his luck, This is the second one today! he thought annoyed beyond belief. Vanyel saw a girl running down the halls and knew the guard would be close behind. He dove into an alcove in the hallway and clapped his hands again. This time he pressed them against the wall and caused the hard stone to create a thin, but strong line straight across the hall at about the average adults chest level. When the merc hit the beam, he would lose his footing and fall flat on his back. Another blast, then a wet sounding noise and a gurgle as the man's throat caught the beam instead of his chest. The man was obviously in pain, so Van decided to let him live. "Remember, leave the students alone, or I'll finish you next time." Vanyel turned and walked back into the cafeteria and sat back down at his place like nothing had happened. "Did I miss anything?"

The man turned and started chasing her down the hall. He shot off a few more rounds then stopped. Noticing he had stopped, she turned to look at him. Koori thought she had given him the slip. She giggled and began to ran when she was knocked over by two more guards. They where ten times scarier then the last.
"Eep!" Koori bounced off them and landed on the floor rubbing her head. "'Ey wat-" she looked up to see who had knocked her over and realized they were guards. "Erm.. I'll be going on my way now..." She scrambled to her feet as they tried to grab her. Makiing a face at them, she dove under one of there legs and found herself in the cafeteria panting.

Ignoring the greeting Dalton laughed at the scene. “ Vanyel you should be called the janitor alchemist for all the trash you have to deal with,” he said as he slapped the boy on the back, “ So why do they hire the mercenaries to guard the school if they are just going to try and kill the students. That has to be bad for business. Those gun shots are going to get hard to get used to as well.” Putting on a smile Dalton looked at the door were a panting girl now stood. With a mouthful of food he yeleld over, " Are you alright? come on over here we can take any guards that try to pursue you."

Cat's eyes narrowed as he laughed. Suddenly she was angry and her voice shook faintly as she spoke. "You say it like your proud." She broke away from his gaze and rested her head on her hands, glaring furiously at the table in front of her as if everything was its fault. She ignored his slip and rambling excuses, obviously too annoyed with his attitude to take them in.
Looking up again as he spoke to her, her glare faultered for a second and the hurt was clear in her eyes. Frankly, she wanted to scream at him. Why did she care?! Maybe if she stormed off there and got shot, maybe then he'd realize why she cared. But this wasn't the place. She wasn't going to have a screaming fit at him in the middle of the cafeteria. Instead she looked back at the table again, idly poking her form at her food. Taking Dalton as an excuse not to dwell in this awkward silence she gave him a faint smile and shook his hand, muttering "Cat."
Unfortunately before they'd even had a chance to settle down Vanyel was on his feet again. She spun around to see him run off, nearly tripping over the chairs in her attempt to stop him. "Don't-!" but he was already gone, off to fight again. Giving him the foulest of looks as he returned she got to her feet, muttering "Going to my room." She tipped the untouched contents of her tray into the bin before storming off.

Koori saw a girl storm off. Peeking around the corner to make sure the guards didnt see her, she quickly walked over to the table. She muttered something to the boy but it was somewhat unheard. Feeling embarassed about her entrance, she sat near the end of the table. She also felt stupid since she was still in her PJ's. She liked them, but plaid just wasnt good unless she was sleeping with no one around.

"No, I still have about a whole nother trunk's worth to unpack. But hopefully I'll finish setting everything up tonight." She said simply and finally decided to chance a bite of her dinner, and after while she decided it wasn't so bad. She was about to take another bite before everything was rather shaken up in her head. She listened as Cat joined the table, she had not met her earlier but she seemed friendly enough. Then her layout of the room shook as another boom in the distance jostled her 'vision'. She waited for everything to go back to normal and heard as Vanyel left and returned as well as when Koori entered the cafeteria. She wondered if she had been, the most recent one to fall victim to one of the guards seemingly blind rage. With a sigh she set her fork down and put her down on the table, "I'm never going to get use to this." She sighed under her breath and tossed a weak wave, with her arm closest to the door, to greet Koori. And then lifted her head slightly as Cat stalked out of her room, 'maybe I'll say hi later then.' she said to herself and then lowered her head back onto her arm so she was almost eye level with her dinner, and continued to listen to the voices around her.

Vanyel watched Cat storm off with shock. HE just couldn't figure out what could have set her off so violently like that. It IS his body, the pain it felt was his and his to deal with. If he got hurt only he would suffer, so why was she reacting so badly about the truth? He shrugged and kept eating, reminding himself to go ask her what she was so uptight about.

Koori sat at the end of the table a lil ways from the group of people. She felt so out of place compared to them. They were dressed normal and eating dinner. Koori was sitting there in her PJ's playing with the end of her sleeve. She didnt want to say anything to them because she would either feel or look stupid. Especially after the gaurds had chased her and she forgot about using alchemy to stop them.

Looking over the girl who had just rushed into the building Dalton couldn’t help but stifle a small chuckle. The girl was still in her pajamas. “ This group just keeps getting crazier and crazier,” he thought to himself. “ O.k now that litle endevour of yours is over explain what happened,” he said curiously. Picking up his pen he began to doodle on the table while he listened to this flustered looking newcomer.

Her voice sounded so tiny. She didnt like sharing these kinda things with people but she guessed she would have to since one of their friends just helped her.
"Well.. My mother said I was going to be late and told me to hurry up and pack then wanted me out. So I left and forgot to change and got lost so I ended up here late... Then I ran into one guard who wanted to know why I was here but I dont think he believed me so I ran. He was shooting at me then I managed to give him the slip... After I ran into two more gaurds who were ten times scarier and ended up here."
Koori wasnt sure if thats exactly what he wanted but, thats what she told him anyways.

((Ugh... Lost... Everyone always posts when I'm offline! DX))
Finding herself deserted, Llevyr pulled out the brochure for the school that she'd received upon submitting an application and being accepted, and sure enough, there was a paper stating her dorm room number. After wandering for a bit, she came to the room, dumped her stuff on the bed, then wandered out again in search of the cafeteria, which she came to about fifteen minutes later.
She saw all of the students from before, but assumed they had better things to do, since they'd just ditched her earlier. She got her food and sat at an empty table, poking the -insert food here- with a fork. You're used to this, she told herself, biting her lip.

((i totally have a lawn to cut and about an hour of chem homewokr so ill be back later tongiht prob so ya hopefully were not still in the lunch room)))
Nodding in agreement to what she had told him it was obvious that there was something going on around here. Deciding it was getting late Dalton put the last bits of his sandwich and the wrapper on his nicely drawn doodle and pressed two fingers to the circle he’d drawn. The drawing glowed as the chemicals broke down and began to reform. In the same spot stood a small metal shaker. Picking the small tin container he set it in front of Sonja and said, “ The chicken didn’t look to good this will add a little flavor to it.” Standing from the table he grabbed his note book, and began to walk to his room. Turning around he called back to the table “ If any one needs me I’ll be in my room unpacking and getting a little shut eye. Number 13.” He walked out of the cafeteria and slowly headed back to his room listening to the thunder overhead. It had been crazy afternoon.
