After cleaning she had sat down at the table and watched him gobble down the food. This made her surprisingly happy, it almost made her feel human again and that she hadn’t felt for a very long time, which was a big understatement. She looked away after a bit lost in her thoughts about humanity. How after a while you don’t even miss it anymore, you almost forget how it feels till something sparks a memory. A memory that feels like a dream, almost that none of it had ever happened. Something in her mind was trying to connect this moment and something from her dream like memory, but her thoughts were interrupted by Banes words and she didn’t mind.
“yes. Well it does seem the Dragonakai keep a very low profile. There are almost nothing in our database about them and that itself is quite an accomplishment.” she thought back to early when she sate at her computer and nothing was working. “Vampires were humans… we’ve just evolved and adapted differently, and we don’t have a pulse… but all that aside we’re humans. Weather others want to remember where they came from or not. Also I have a question… maybe a few… first off where did the Dragonakai originate from? What’s there history.”

Bane scratched the back of his head, thinking for a couple seconds, before saying,"I'm not one hundred percent sure on the over all history of the Dragonakai.... However I can say that our people have existed for at least half as long as Human's, if not closer to the same length of time...."
He pushed his chair back, his wings furling and unfurling over and over again, as he sat there, trying to explain what he himself had never truly understood. Finally he sighed and said,"There aren't many Dragonak's... In fact the highest number there has ever been at one time was just over one thousand, and in the last century, we've dropped down to around four hundred in number.... I believe this to be in part from centuries of trying to hide our existence... But I really don't know much about my own people, other than that each of the ancient races has a single spell within the true Necronomicon, which only they can use.

She sat listening to him, “well that does surly explain why we have almost nothing in our files. Do you know around how many are in this area? Also what spell do you want to use from the book and why?” she had to cut herself off there because she would have kept going with questions all of which were swirling around her head. It was her questioning that had always landed her in some sort of trouble even when she was a human. She hadn’t understood that some people you just don’t ask questions to and some questions where not to be asked at all. She had a dream like flash back to when she had been a child she had asked some sort of question to a count who was visiting, all she remembered was him slapping her right across the face. She had to be only about eight when it had happened. But this thought passed quickly through her mind falling back to its shadows. She was intently looking at Bane and not blinking again.

Bane scratched his neck again, reaching out with a wing, and plucking the book off the counter, drawing it closer to him. He placed it lightly on the table, sliding his wing out from underneath it, before saying,"I believe that... Despite Gradient being a haven for non-humans, there is only three in this area at a time. They tend to move on, as the Dragonakai always have.... Meaning that the numbers vary constantly."
He slowly placed his hand on the book for a second, looking into Nadie's, his eyes momentarily sad, before he flipped it open, whipping through it quickly untill he came across a spell that said it was a "Drought" spell. He laughed lightly, before saying,"Well this certainly isn't the original... This spell is the opposite, when used by the correct being. Used by any being but a Dragonak, it causes a drought at a targeted place... However... I have done research on this, and if I'm correct, I could, using the correct version of this spell, cause a drought at one location, while causing unending rain at another, for a year long duration.... If it works, then I know I have the true original..."

Nadie watched out of the side of her eye as his winds starched across the kitchen picking up the book. She was slightly surprised at the control he had over his wings and also how strong they seemed to be yet look so fragile she couldn‘t help notice the sad look in his eyes and something inside of her wanted to reach out to him, but she held back. That wouldn‘t be appropriate at all what am I thinking? Honestly what is wrong with me? she just didn‘t understand why she was acting so oddly.
She was listing to him and his realization that his book wasn’t the real one. “well you should look for it in the library, but why would you want to create a drought? Any reason besides testing to see if the book was real?”

Bane grinned slightly at her question, rubbing his wrists slowly, nad starring off into space, before saying,"The drought isn't what I want... It's the rain, which is the give away that I have found the correct version of the book.... That is the only reason for that spell.... However if I've found the correct version.... There will be another spell that I will wish to check..."
He scratched the back of his neck, slowly standing, and turning away, for a second, rubbing his face with his hands, before turning back towards her, grinning.

Nadie listened quietly. But what was the other spell he wanted? Why was the rain the important part? And why was he always scratching himself? Especially before answering a questioning? Maybe a nerves habit? That must be it.
“why is the rain what you want? What does it really prove? Also what is the other spell you want to do? And what does it do? What will it enhance for you?”

Bane sighed, slowly sitting back down, thinking,"Dang... The one question that I didn't want asked..."
Folding his arms across each other on the table he looked calmly at Nadie before quietly saying," The rain proves it is the right book. That is the only reason for it. The other spell.... Well I'll tell you about that if the right book is in the library...."
He looked away, his eyes slowly clouding over, as he thought about what the spell was, and what he wanted it for.

She watched him and the changing of his body and his face. He wasn’t going to tell her yet he wanted to use her books… this didn’t seem right.
“No. I’m sorry but no that will not do. I think that if you are going to be using my library in hope finding the right book, which it will be that I should know what you are looking for and what it will do.”
She folded her arms across her chest as well. She wouldn’t give in, she wanted a straight answer, she wanted a truthful answer and she wouldn’t give him what he wanted till he gave her what she wanted. She had fallen into her business mod.

Bane looked at Nadie, as she folded her arms, acting stern, and he nearly burst out laughing. It amused him how quickly she changed from one end of the spectrum to the other. Sighing, he said,"Ok fine... If you have the correct book, which you assure me you do..... There is a powerful spell in there."
He stood up, and turned away, staring at nothing in particular before saying," There is a spell.... Which can raise the dead.... Not as zombies, like those silly human horror movies... But truly return a being to life...."
He rubbed his eyes, with his sleeve, before turning back to her, and continuing,"That... That is the spell I wish to use."

Nadie hadn’t come back from being in business mod. She listened taking in all the facts. Her big deep blue eyes focused only on the facts forgetting about human emotion as she swiftly swooped in with her next question/statement., “you’re talking about your family. Bringing back your family which perished in the Jet collision.”
She said the last part mater of factly. She had done her research and it was paying off. Her mind was being very one tracked right now, only focusing on the goal of the information.

Bane looked at her in shock for a second, before quietly saying,"Yes.... But no.... More than them... I plan on bringing back the very first of every species there is as well.... So I can learn all there is about everything...."
He turned away again, closing his eyes, rubbing them for a second with the sleeve of his jacket, thinking,"She has forgotten... Despite everything she says... She has forgotten...."

She wasn’t shocked at all by his wanting to bring back his family, but she had a feeling that everything happened for a reason. It was an idea she still clung to from her humanity. It was an odd little light of hope for herself, but she couldn’t help her mouth dropping and hanging there for a moment when he talked about bringing back the first of every kind. is he ******** insane?!? she composed her self a moment later. Her mind whirling with what to say. She couldn’t think of anything to say. Was he crying? Her eyes flashed over to gray then back. What was he talking about… what had she forgotten.
“first off I do not truly support bringing back the dead. I personally feel that things happen for a reason, but if you feel you must bring your family back then by all means go ahead, but as for bringing back the elders of each race I will have to put my foot down and use all my powers to stop you. Do you fully understand the horrors in which that act would unleash on everyone! On yourself. That dead should be left dead and in the past.” she paused her words ringing in her own ears and then she added, “Now what am I forgetting? Your mind is babbling strongly about me forgetting something.”

((Here's the thing, doods. Homework is killing me and my mom is grounding me for a few days. I don't know how long, but I'm going to try to get on as much as I can. I'm going to post right now to try and catch up, though I'm kinda far behind ^^;;. Just keep posting and I'll try to make Zeke come in whenever I can.))
Zeke wandered around Bane's living room after watching Raven leave to her room. She picked up several things, books and whatnot, turning them over in her hand before placing them back. She was slightly disgusted at the amount of dust Bane's possessions had collected. She picked through things, then decided he had nothing of interest to her. She stood from where she had been kneeling, searching the bottom shelf of a curio cabinet, and walked to the front door. "If you'd like to know, I'm leaving now," she called down the hall to where she assumed Raven was. She pulled Bane's broken door to, and stalked down his path. "That was an enormous waste of my time and effort," she murmured to herself as she slid her sunglasses on. She glanced around quickly, confirming no humans were near, then she drifted into the skys. She soared toward her apartment, landing in the alley to the left of it. She emerged from the dank darkness quickly, ushering a group of tourists to move the other way and out of her path. She strode to the elevator and up to her floor. She walked to her apartment and opened it.
The previously broken table was now gone, and her room had been cleaned. She assumed the maid had come and cleared the mess from her room. She hung her trench coat on the rack and pulled her sunglasses off, and stowed them in the table's drawer. She walked and sat on the couch, utterly exhausted and slightly irritated. She reached over, grabbing her phone, and punched in a few numbers. "Baron, good evening," she said when it was picked up on the other end. "I'm fine. Honestly. How are you doing?" she asked. She continued to talk, nearly forgetting about her problem with Bane.

Bane turned to her, his slightly bloodshot grey eyes instantly catching hers, as he said,"Happen for a reason? Of course things happen for a reason.... And the reason that my family would be back would be that I caused it to be so."
He frowned, rubbing his chin, before saying,"Fine... if you are that insistant that I won't bring back the Elders, then I won't... But as for what you have forgotten... Well that is simple... You've forgotten that I've studied every race more thoroughly than any other being, in just five years.... And I found one thing which would make it impossible for any being to stop me from doing anything..... I found out... that one in every four thousand Dragonakai, has the ability to become more than a Dragonakai... And that only two have ever done so...."
He stared at her, looking slightly bored, as he pulled up the edge of the left side of his shirt, to reveal a single scale, just above his hip. Quietly he said,"This is the proof.... That I am one who can."
