The stage is set.
DG was surprised she hadn't drew near him while his back was turned. Something's wrong with that. What is she planning? he asked himself. He went right behind the dagger struck quiver and waited to see what she would do. She wouldn't stay behind me without a purpose, especially with my wounded heel slowing me down. What is she planning? The thoughts of terrible plans raced through his head one-by-one. He kept his bow ready to strike at her when she gets too close, but the thought of her having the slightest chance to use something as a projectile made fear run through him.
"It's now or never," DG whispered to himself.

Gale would've never guessed that the flaming wings were to be used as a thrust mechanism to regain balance and footing. As his head turned around to follow Notsu's dodge, he was caught off guard by the sudden counter attack. His visor had calculated this move as part of the infinite numbers of possibilities, but his body just couldn't react fast enough to what the visor was telling him to do, which was to brake, and then relaunch himself either towards Notsu, or away from him.

The visor also told him that the kick, if done right, was aimed straight for his head. At his current position, it would be too slow to try and block it, and would most likely hurt him more if he tried to move. Of course, Gale could try and kick off again, but that takes an enormous push to get the velocity going. He was already slowing down, and so there's a delay in which he can't kick off again because he was braking already.

Suddenly, the monkey tails attached to his head sprang to life as if they had a mind of their own. The Gift of the Gods, Gale thought, as they wiggled themselves to and fro, I forgot I was wearing these . . . If his calculations were right, just standing there would actually be the best course of action to take. The monkey tails, which act as secondary defense, and a extra pair of arms, would just grab Notsu's foot, throw him to the side, and nullify the kick.

Of course, this was all up to how random Notsu actually could be. Gale's visors were actually going crazy with statistical data and probability, and his eyes could barely even follow everything.

(Post Three)
Notsu saw Gale didn't move, and the kick connected. However, Gale didn't even flinch. Notsu fell over, yet still floated in the air. Acting himself like a monkey, he clambered up Gale's shoulders to get a better look at what was holding him. " You know, I really didn't think your hair was that long and tangly... wait... Gale, you've got tails on your head..." Notsu carefully positioned his plasma sword in a way that he could make a clean, easy cut and free himself. He chuckled, and muttered," Not for long..." as he began to cut himself free.

Not sure Mr. Zombie, all I know is that if Kallisto doesn't respond by 6:20 p.m. PST, it's over here. I don't want my round to finish, I was having fun.

As Amairis committed this act, Dream began to really start snapping out of the trance. Combined with her "attack", he managed to free himself completely. Nevertheless, he still managed to end up trapped inside a swirling white area of... nothing. Absolutely nothing. Except air, he supposed. Which didn't help him.

He stayed on the "ground", which was somehow there but not there, and tried to think of a plan. Amairis didn't know he was free of the charm; that was a start. But if he wanted to win this tournament, he had to start being extremely creative. So far, she had surpassed him greatly. It was time he tried his hardest.

He didn't have much with him... but he was fused with the physical skill of the crystal cloak. And he had the necklace. That was a huge bonus. Only he could use his weapons still. And... that was about it. But if he could get out of the void and back to the surface... but how would that be possible? The ground in this place was too far down for him to get back to the entrance. He would have to get Amairis to make a mistake. And with her still having no reason to believe he wasn't still infatuated, it could come easily.

He called up to her, in the same, trance-like sweet voice he had used when he was under the spell. "That was a funny trick! I completely fell for it. Ha! Get it? Fell for it? I wouldn't mind it down here, but you're up there, and that's what I care about... Can't I see you again?"

Amairis grinned triumphantly and walked over to the hole. She painted around the hole, creating an eisle to hold up her abyssmal canvas. Testing the brush out a bit, she painted a circle of flowers around Dream's feet. Sure enough, the colorful blooms grew up out of the abyss and brushed against his ankles.
So he wanted to see her, did he? She grinned and began painting again. This time, upon her canvas stood an exact replica of herself. It descended from the top of the abyss, just as though she had jumped in after him. The faux-Amairis then gently landed, a silly smile on her face.
Real Amairis smirked. She could have a lot of fun with this...

Dream didn't realize that it wasn't the real Amairis. Perfect... She doesn't suspect a thing. He walked over to her, his silly, fake expression of love still on his face. "Ah, there you are! You don't know how happy I am to see you..." Coming up close to her, he made to give her a hug. But at the last moment, he spun around her (who didn't do much, as she wasn't really Amairis), grabbed his necklace, and spun it. It hit the drawing right in her forehead, which proceeded to "melt" into the paint it had began as. Realizing what had happened, he stopped completely. It was a fake... I can't outsmart her that easily. I should have known. With that, he drove the entire pendant into her, and she proceeded to splatter into the abyss as globs of colorful paint. He looked up, out of the hole, at the real Amairis. "Okay, so I'm not infatuated anymore. You got me. What say you come down here and we settle this?" Of course this was a silly request, but what else was he going to say? "I'll find a way out of here otherwise, you know..."

My round had only just started, and I was already sort of having fun. I'm really hoping Gale doesn't go MIA on this...

((Here. As I have little to do at the moment, a spectator comment.))

Just as the abyss had opened, a holographic image of Notsu had appeared on the large rock. This image was able to go anywhere on the battlefield. It was completely intangible, so it would not hinder, nor help either opponent. It was just there, cheering them both on and recording the battle from that point. " Woot Amairis! Go Dream!" It cheered from its perch, peering down into the hole.

Not going MIA! At least yet, sorry but college has me in shackles.

"Shimatta!" Gale exclaimed just as he noticed Notsu cutting the monkey tails off. He had to do something, something to get himself out of this pickle, and he had to do it quick.

Ironically, the visors he was wearing were also calculating moves in order for him to escape. The data came in like a landslide, here and there everywhere, then suddenly, everything froze, and Gale knew what to do. There was only one sure-fire way to get Notsu off of him, even if it meant losing one of the tails.

Gale stuck his sword into the ground and let go of it, then using the winged boots, he jumped up high into the air, bringing Notsu along with him. Spinning around as fast as he could, he was aiming to generate enough torque and centrifugal force to make one of the semi-cut tails snap off and slam Notsu into the ground.

I'm sorry I haven't posted, I'm really busy at the moment and I haven't been home for about two days. I'm not kicked out am I?

If you just replied rather than ask, you'd have a better chance staying in.

Strategy was not Kallisto's strong point but nothing else had worked for her so it was worth a try. She ran into the foliage on quiet paws, barely a rustle was heard as she moved.
She had to keep him in her sights or else he would have the upper hand, so she circled him.
His eyes betray his uncertainty, she thought. At least I have that small advantage... Hopefully this works...
She was now behind him and she had found exactly what she was looking for. With an amused grin she flung herself at a tree heavily laden with coconuts (it was crude but she had to make do). She darted through the bushes and trees as the nuts fell all around her opponent, hopefully they would distract him long enough for her to get to her goal. The retrieval of her dagger.
Kallisto dashed out of the trees, running as fast as she could for her weapon.

The stage is set.
DG watched her disappear into the trees. "Cleaver," he whispered knowing full well it was in vain for her to hear it. He closed his eyes and stop relying on his sight and moved his head so his hair would keep him from seeing. He listened carefully and heard what there was to hear. The coconuts fell quite loudly, but she was too swift, he also hear the faint wind break of her speed. He followed that wind's sound to where she was coming out. He blindly swung his bow at the general direction he heard her coming, moving his head at the last second so his hair was out of his way again. He quickly reached down to grab an arrow to shoot before he picked up the quiver.
Let the battle begin!
