He turned around and looked where she pointed as the figures ducked down in the tall grass. Hero mumbled and walked to the ledge and and slided down to the grass below. He jumped off the side a few feet away from the ground and rolled for cover in the grass.

Kittie heard a scream come from the cave and turned around to see a skeletal figure holding Melody. There was another skeletal figure who had a fire whip around Romeo. Romeo was growling in her direction, when she looked around there was the third skeletal figure behind her. He took out a chain and tangled it around her making it impossible for her to move.

Hero ran out from the side and tackled one of the skeleton over, smashing it into the side of the cave. He stretched out his claws and ran at the other skeleton that was holding Melody.

Kittie fell down to her knees and held her right side, where it began bleeding. While the skeleton holding Romeo became distracted with Hero he had the chance to smash the skeleton into the cave wall. The bones crashed to the floor but soon regenerated themselves. The three of them stood next to each other, each with a different weapon. One of them had a fire whip, the other had a chain, and the last one had sword.

Hero turned around and got ready to charge the three of them. He waved a hand to Melody and Kittie to run while he tried to fight them. Hero charged at them trying to claw them to pieces with his claws against but the skeleton dodged and only its arm fell off. Hero ducked down as the whip almost got his neck and spun in a circle on the ground, tripping all three of the skeleton, before rolling away.

Kittie took Melody and carried her before jumping on Romeo's back. He ran down the side of the mountain but the rocks crumbled. They fell down to the plains below. Romeo got tangled in vines while Melody held onto his tail. Kittie on the other hand was taken by a stranger who rode a horse. The stranger was wearing a long black coat with the hood on which covered his face. The horse was white with a s silky long mane. Kittie lay unconscious on the horses back as the stranger rode off with her.

Hero kept clawing and smashing the skeleton but they kept regenerating. He shoved them aside and ran into the cave where he had lit a fire earlier. Hero grabbed a burning log and ran back to them. Swiftly he ran past them all while lighting a part of them on fire. He turned around and looked at the burning skeleton as they try to slap the fire, but it was no use. Soon they would be ashes. Hero stood there watching as he dropped the burning wood before he burned anymore of his glove. Three ghostly mist rose from the burning corpse, moaning, before the skeletons dropped to the ground. Hero remembered about Melody, Romeo, and Kittie.
Hero sniffed them out and ran to them. He cut Romeo loose from the vine and looked at Melody.
"Where's Kittie?"

"A strange figure, wearing a long black coat took her away on a white horse." Melody said while looking down at Romeo.
Kittie woke up to the feel of something against her. She opened her eyes to find a girl sitting before her. The girl had long blond hair, green eyes, and white soft skin that looked like snow. She was buttoning the top right side of a dress that Kittie was wearing. Kittie jumped up and looked at the girl who seemed like a doll. "W-where am I ..." she asked while looking at the long red kimono like dress with a golden dragon on the side. The girl stood up and walked towards the door "My master would like to see you downstairs once you are dressed." she said as she pointed towards some jewelry that lay on top of a table, then she walked out the door.

"I see..." Hero sat down on the ground and started at his burn glove. There was a massive hole in the middle of his hand but the glove was still wearable. "I'll be back..." Hero said as he climbed back up to the cave and dug through a giant jug of junk. He finally found a roll of bandage that he had stole from a house in the village. Hero bandaged up his hand and returned outside to Melody. It was almost morning, and he felt a bit tired from a night without sleep. Hero closed his eyes as the breeze blew by, brushing his hair gently from his face. He opened his eyes and started walking where the wind was coming from.
"Follow me."

Melody looked at Hero's hand and then nodded. She rode on Romeo's back as he followed Hero closely behind.
Kittie took the jewelry that was set on the table for her and she put them on. She put a golden anklet on her right ankle and the golden amlet on her left arm before walking out the door. "Hello..." She mumbled as she walked down the stairs closets to her, wondering where to go next.

Hero ran as he followed the scent of the horse, the sun was already rising in the horizon. The would reach the source of the scent in a couple of miles, but Hero was still tired from the lack of sleep. When the sun was at the same height as the mountains behind them they were almost close to a castle on one of the highest mountain. It had high brick walls that surrounded the palace. The door was made of iron and guarded with hollow armor, granted to life with magic. Hero ran to the side of the wall out of view from the guards. He pulled his gloves on tighter and started clawing his way up the wall.

As Kittie approached the end of the stairs, a tall figure was standing there waiting for her. A long maroon cape sweeped the floor. The young man had a red cloth wrapped around his wild hair. His back was turned to her as he was fixing his white gloves. He heard her footsteps behind him and turned around, looking at her eyes. The man walked over to her and bent down on one knee.
"I'm happy, that you have arrived to my estate....I've been waiting for you...Kittie."

Melody held onto Romeo as he followed Hero.
Kittie looked down at the young man. "...Estate?"

Kittie looked down at the young man. "...Estate?" He took hold of her hand and kissed it. "Yes...my palace. You must be hungry." he said as he got up, still holding her hand. He guided her to another double door which was the dining room. The door was opened by servents as they bowed to them. The man pulled a chair out for Kittie to sit down. The table was long and piled with food as the man walked to the opposite side and sate done.

Kittie blinked as she looked at all the food and the servants before turning her attention him. "How do you know my name and what do you want from me?" She asked him confusingly as she wondered how Hero, Melody, and Romeo were doing.
