Hey. Question.
How do you guys have your MP3 libraries organized?
I don't want to organize by band or album. I'm looking for alternate ideas.

lol, mine is just by bands ^^ Thus, many of the songs end up out of order, which works out good for some of them wink

I'm just a shuffle kinda guy.
But if I do need to find a certain song I just go with whichever, album or band.
Windows Media player makes it real easy.

I listened to the Smiths in the car today, then I watched the Talking Heads Stop Making Sense video, then I watched the Family Guy, then I listened to Cat Power's Peel Sessions, now I'm listening to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.

Gemineye could try alphabetically by song name O_o I do just band names though That's how I have them right now. But it's just not functional for when I want to throw together an MP3CD. :-

msfluffykins i organize them by genre..kinda...like..softer songs.....upbeat.....punk...pop blah blah yeah... that's kinda how I organize mine. Not really by "genre" but by sound, I guess... ex: Sleepy tunes, Speed Racer (music that makes me get speeding tickets xd ), Girly, Amusing and stuff like that. I was actually thinking of reorganizing them soon... I'm listening to Tom Waits - Alice, right now.

I do broad genres like Comedy, Rock, Pop, HipHop, Oldies, etc. I put songs in the wrong folder sometimes though...
