peach_zelda i heart my flute but sometimes i wish i picked french horn or mellophone. the coils on the french horn are sooo pretty.
Perhaps, but think about pushing air through all of them.

I wish I had done drumline in marching band and I used to wish that I had played saxophone in regular band way back in fourth grade. I did guard and played flute before switching to oboe last year.

I am hoping to learn piano so I might be able to do that in jazz band in a few years. But learning to read bass cleft is hard after five years of treble.

I don't regret picking tuba at all, but I'd love to have been able to play the french horn. Seriously, it has the coolest sounds when played right, especially loud, ripping parts.

Nope, the flute and piccolo owns my soul! Would not trade it for any other instrument! ^^

Now that my high school band experience is pretty much over with the exception of the final, I wish that I had learned how to play oboe. I didn't like the instrument too much at first, but it grew on me. That would be one of the few reed instruments that I'd be interested in learning.

i play flute right now and since im moving to a new school i was thinking about trying to learn to play the alto sax or tenor. Im trying to save my monkey up to buy one but it might take a while to get a sax in amazing condition for a low price. But i heart my flute and i will not give it up. 4laugh

I really wanted to play saxophone when I first started...but the guy said no, try flute instead...on offense against the flute, but I still like saxophones better

i play the alto sax but sometimes i wish i played the clarinet. it s long story but to shorten it... i was gonna play clarinet untill my best friend said she was gonna do sax. i decided i would do sax so that we could spend time together. when the day came to sign i did sax but i didnt see her nameon the list so i figured she would sign up later. the next day i look at the list and her name still isnt there and i ask her about it and she said she changed her mind and was gnna do baritone. i was pissed but not alot. first lesson i realize im the only girl of 4 saxes i didnt mind till one of the guys started making fun of me and saying that i sucked. we are ok now but sometimes he still does it. wow that was longer then i thought. but i like the sax cuz i was part of my schools first sax quartet (cuz were just that awesome) and most of the clarinets get in trouble alot.

I have played every instrument except sousaphone, french horn and oboe. I've always wanted to be an oboe player. Although I was a saxophone as my main all through high school. But I just graduated so....no more band for me. T-T
