I used CG, mostly Photoshop, some Dogwaffle for the texturing, and a couple random fractal programs (of which I have so many I can't remember which I used XD). I tried to make it look like watercolor though.

She was going to be holding an Optimus prime plushie, but I couldn't get it right, so I left it out.
I was going to do a lone pic of Kish, Beta HQ, Aryn and Gnatty, but nothing turned out good everytime I tried, so I eventually gave up the closer to deadline it got.

Rave puffed up his chest, unconsciously trying to make himself look larger. Maybe if this thing thought that he was a bigger less…uke like beta it would leave him alone. He’d been spotted, lurking and stalking his prey through the underwater forests of the beta tank. Yes, he had spotted this one a long time ago and had his eyes upon it since then. Now, however, was the time to strike. The beta was by himself, hopelessly alone amongst the kelp and algae that hovered about. Not a soul could save him, oh no, this was too good of a moment. A wicked serpetine smile crept upon his lips as he watched the beta try to inflate himself to a larger side. How foolish it was to try and intimidate him, he couldn’t be scared away from his prey that easily. Any moment now, he would strike, and it would all be over. Rave glanced around, the movements have stopped for now and he allowed himself a breath of relief. Whatever it was had left, had gone away to leave him alone. Ears twitching in his left over nervousness of being stalked, a laugh escaping his lips. How silly he was for thinking that something was actually following him, there was nothing that would do such a thing in these tanks, not to him. Not with Kishara around to protect him. He realized as the black shadow fell over him that he had spoken too soon, and with horror he turned to face his doom. Yes, his prey had at last dropped all guard. Foolish little beta thinking himself safe amongst these waters. He sprung, rising up above the beta with a triumphant laugh. “BOHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Arms wrapping tightly around the squirming beta, ignoring all protests as he hugged them close together with his eight sucker-covered tentacles. Fear had hammered through Rave as the arms twisted around him, holding him tightly against his attacker. Even as the laugh sounded from the form, Rave tried desperately to get away. Things slowly started to dawn on Rave though as the form of the laugh sunk in. Bohahahahaha? What kind of laugh was that for an evil, tank dwelling beast? Annoyance and relief managed to mix together all at once on Rave’s face as he stared up at Kishara who beamed winningly down at him. Kishara crossed his arms over his chest in an X shape, hands bent almost claw-like as he repeated the laugh once more. “BOHAHAHAHAH-“ His victory had been cut off as his prey smacked kelp into his face, and the vicious Kishara could only pout as his uke prey stared at him. “What?” “You arse.” Entry for Contest # 3

Eh, another one, since this is oddly interesting. (Oh, and if any staff members have preferred forms which I'm completely ignoring due to lack of knowledge on the subject, my apologies. XD) Gnatty

Another Entry There’s a place I know, not far from here.
Dive into the pool and swim down deep.
Pass the seaweed vines and simmering rocks.
You’ll come upon a wonderful place.
Look at the nursery, fill with bouncing, bubbling eggs.
With happy awaiting parents and owners,
Who dream of the babies to come.
Next, visit the play pen.
Where the fry play all day long.
Owners planning their futures
And fish waiting in the wing for future lovers.
On to the tanks, where the betas flaunt,
With their colors, sparkles, and items.
Don’t forget the newly evolved,

While Kisha works to pretty those that Rave release.
