I'm thinking of starting a business, so I'm crocheting some berets as samples to show people.

I can't start any new projects until I get all of my other ones done. I am knitting a blanket for my friends daughter. Just a small one. She's only 3. and crocheting an affigan for my daughters hope chest, and one for my son's hope chest.

a sweater by the designer Ysolda Teague which i bought the pattern for on her website. i'm using a light worsted wool-cotton blend yarn (i forget its name) and size six needles. the main color is a really pretty pink, and the edging is a really pale green that inexplicably looks blue in some light. the pattern is called "matilda jane" and its for sale on her website if anyone wants to check it out. biggrin

Right now, I am not working on anything, save trying to mend some sweaters that I love. Might also fix some jeans for my friend. Maybe I can get her to get me something from Mood fabrics when she goes to NYC in a few weeks. I would also like to work on a scarf much like one I saw on tv. Or a cute hat/mitten combo for next winter, since I live in Wisconsin.

I hope that's not too big. Somehow I'm incorporating it into a hat- we'll see how that goes, it's white baby yarn... so pictures wont be much help, but we'll see.

That bag.... I love that bag. After i build my new desk from Ikea, i shall make some of those bags. At the grocery stores around here, you get a discount if you don't use the bags. mrgreen We normally get paper bags, but when i'm doing the shopping (instead of mommy) i use a strange assortment of tote bags, and i keep meaning to make some with actual bottoms that can hold more stuff. So that bag.... several of those bags.... So on my list.

I didn't have time to tell you guys of my newest project yet! For my 2 year anniversary, i made my girlfriend a Loli skirt, and i'm working on one for me. Our anniversary was friday, but since it was raining we couldn't have a picnic anyways, so i figured i didn't HAVE to finish mine right then. We're gonna have our picnic next monday, hopefully. By then i should have mine done and pictures of both.
