"So you finally did? That's great!" Shizuka smiled. She was about to add something else when a call in stereo cut her off.
"Shizuka-sensei!!!
Two children, obviously twin brother and sister about 6, rushed up to the miko. The girl seemed to take charge while the boy looked up shyly at theunfarmiliar man.
"Where are you going?! What about our training?!?!
"Oh, Kyoko... Jin... I completely forgot..." Shizuka sweatdroped.

You can't just walk out on us when the future depends on this!!!" Kyoko shouted as her brother was startled by the sudden appearance of the unfarmiliar spirit. Shizuka was inching away little by little from her overreacting pupil. "Are you leaving because of this guy who just came out from nowhere? Or this foreign, eyeliner-wearing, creepy looking spirit with... Oh wait, that's HIM?!... Aww crud, if I had known, I wouldnt have said that... And the other guy is... wait, isn't he supposed to be short?... Oh yeah..."The miko was whispering explanations into Kyoko's ear, and her big mouth kept it less than secret. ((It's Kyoko-chan and Jin-chan! ^-^ aren't they kawaii?))

Manta chuckled. "Nice to know that you kids were warned in advance about us..."
"I knew he'd get taller," Faust explained proudly. "Didn't I always say that, Manta?" he'd learned to simply ignore small childrens' observations when it came to his own appearance.

"Warned? Shizuka-sensei told us all about the shaman fight 7 years ago!! With Yoh-kun and Ren-kun and baka-Hao..."
"Kyoko-chan, Hao wasn't stupid, he just had a different viewpoint on the world." Shizuka sighed, correcting Kyoko once again.
"Yeah, a stupid one..."
"Kyoko-chan!!!"
"What?!" the girl bickered with her teacher as Jin shyly approached the others.
"Umm... you're Manta-sama and Faust-sama... right...?" he asked shyly.

Faust beamed; as a ghost, he looked much healthier than he had when he was alive. Which was incredibly sad, but his expression was so peaceful that it was difficult to be uncomfortable about it. "Well, I don't know about 'sama...' " he laughed self-consciously.
"Shut up, Faust," groaned Manta. "Jin, Dr. Faust is probably one of the smartest men who ever lived! He's an incredible physician, and..." he paused to build up suspence, "... my spirit ally!"

Jin's eyes lit up. he had heard a lot of good things about Faust whit Shizuka, but not anything of this degree. He knew that he was a bright doctor, a powerful contendor in the shaman fight, and one of the closest thing to family that his 'sensei' has ever had, but one of the smartest people who ever lived?!
