Quick suggestion: The classes in the Academy should each have their own thread for lessons. Otherwise, the main academy thread is going to end up ridiculously difficult to follow.

xd after you graduate from the academy and meet all the requeriments to be a Capitan you might become one ^_^. And yes I will work on creating threads for EACH squad when the time comes.

Having noticed some of the more recent posts, I have an additional suggestion to make: Better detailing in the rules about what abilities we can and can't use. And I think we need a sub-forum for approved character bios, so that we can just use the profile thread for approvals and that's it. Might make it easier to keep track of newer apps that need approval (as once someone saw that they were approved, they'd have to delete their post with their bio and re-post in a new thread in the sub-forum).

It's not the strength of abilities that's a problem. It's people running around using Shikai and full Flash Steps. One, not everyone has access to Flash Step as an ability, which has to be mastered (though I don't think a decent version of Flash Step is as hard as people make it out to be - getting to Yoruichi's level is that hard, but not a fairly decent version), and two, we're all students, meaning there's no way we're running around with our Shikai out (though, all things considered, it may be a little too difficult to get through the classes in any decent period of time to use Shikai, considering teachers aren't always on, nor are students, meaning it could take far longer than it should IRL - after all, people join to play Death Gods, not to play Death God wannabes who can't even figure out there Soul Slayers).

Also, we need a way to know we've actually been approved. There's not a single approval message in that entire thread.....

Even 6 months is insane for an RPG like this. The vast majority of RPers won't even stay interested that long if they're stuck in classes (half of which don't even HAVE teachers yet).

And there really should be an actual approval of some sort. Otherwise, we're not even sure if our profile has been looked at.

I understand that that's what you currently do. However, it leaves us wondering if ours has been looked at or not. If you can, at least edit the posts and add in at the top or bottom approved by. We can just find our bios and check for that. I have run and/or participated in more RPGs than I know how to count, so I speak from experience.

not really insane taking on that some people post 1 tipe per day it would make 30 post per month or something around that, by the time they end it they will have a satisfiying experience on the academy and can create a vast new plot as shinigamis, remember rping is not about, beat the accademy in 3 weeks, become a shinigami, archive bankai in 1 week, then get bored and leave the guild, I want people to actually rp their character's lifes and do new plots and stuff.
