Masaru narrowed her eyes at the person who had intruded on her thoughts.
"Answer you? Who are you to interfere with my business? Do you hear that noise, Nendir? Do you feel the hate emanating from that house? I don't care what you think of my cause. I certainly don't care what you think of me. If you think I will allow myself to be killed by you, we have a problem." She scowled, ready for a confrontation. She had no illusion that the person in front of her was not human. Masaru only wanted to kill humans, but if this being was going to get in her way, she would not hesitate to slaughter it.
"Why do you protect them? You must know how they lie, cheat, and hate. You must know how they blame everything that's wrong on everyone else! How can you protect such creatures?"
Her hand fell to her knife and she took up a fighting stance, ready for an attack. Masaru could see that Nendir was better armed than she was, but didn't particularly care. She wanted this fight. Her muscles tensed more as a figure appeared behind her opponent.

Akito sighed, it was as if the world was falling apart with ever war, every fight, every pointless battle. Sometimes she wished it would stop, but she knew that if someone didn't rebel, then the world would be doomed anywyas.
She stood from the sand and made her way back to town. It was time to do something. She could feel it, something, tugging at her to move.

[[Hello! xd Don't worry it can be edited... Penguinsong, now would be the best time to have some type of crisis happen, which'll in turn force you out into the street. Say... a purifier attacks your house while your away and when you and your brother get home. He protects and tells you to run. That's when you run out into the streets and hopefully meet a person. *cough* REESE *cough* Problem solved.]]

Only a fraction of his attention had been places on the Purifier, seeing how she had not made a move in the direction of the rucus, and when a tall figure appeared behind him he instantly picked up his aura. What were the odds of another Defender being so close by, this must have been supernatural central. But the second was not unwelcome, and Nendir took a step to the side to allow the figure more room, after all, he was much taller and wider than Nendir, elves being fairly thin and short to begin with.
He was just about to converse with his new comrade, but the Purifiers words shot across the openness between them, a bitterness in her voice. He listened closely, not wanting to underestimate the enemy by any small margin, even if it meant listening to her blabber on about things she obviously didn't understand. And then she asked the question.How can you protect such creatures?" No Purifier had ever asked him a question, in his opinion they were all puppets controlled by the same demented masters.
"Unlike you Purifier, they have a free will. And what they do with that will is their decision, and they should be punished in the afterlife, as if the negative Karma that will be inflicted upon them isn't bad enough. You are not fit to judge them, not even close." His eyes burned forest green and his teeth clenched so tightly he was sure to draw blood.
His right foot slid back into the sand, ample enough friction so he would be able to launch himself in any direction with resistance from the shifty, sandy ground. "Don't make me do this...I am not in the mood to show mercy." His hand began to grow a warm pale blue and pearl color, and the sun seemed to catch the tip of his blade just right. He had already had enough of this idle banter, she was just prolonging the inevitable.

((OOC: There is everyone in the town currently... Humans, Purifiers, as well as Defenders (I'm a defender) so pretty much, it wouldn't be weird....))
Ryn watched the two, without moving, noting the that the Elf seemed to be a Defender, and the other a Purifier. Ryn cut across both of them, saying loudly, yet calmly,"There is no need for bloodshed. It would be a waste for us to fight here, for we could harm to many, both friend and foe."
His left hand gripped the hilt of his sword, ready to draw it free in a blink, while the claws of his right slowly clicked together. He did not wish to fight, but he knew that human lives were at stake if he did not help the other Defender.

Akito swiftly flew (not literally) across the beach and onto the grassland. From the grassy plains, she entered the forest trail that would lead to the nearby town. Something was going to happen, Akito could feel it pulling her closer, closer. She felt the power of many creatures as she took her first step into the town. She saw cyborgs, demons, elves, and many humans. It was like a collision of the worlds - the human world and the supernatural. Akito shook her head, sending her hair flying in all directions. She focused her eyes and took a determined step to what seemed like a Purifier-Defender fight.

Masaru didn't want to back down. She was not used to it. However, she decided to try using her head for once. She was up against two people who appeared to be her enemies. She didn't exactly know who they were, only that one of them seemed ready to kill her and had the power to do so. She currently had no weapons but rage and a knife.
Masaru angrily whirled around and decided to try finding easier prey. She began to retreat, becoming angrier and angrier with every step. Then her eyes settled on yet another being and she allowed her hand to fly to her knife. She knew she was in serious trouble. She continued walking, hoping that she would be allowed to kill another day.

Akito saw one of them storming off. She didn't really know what she was. She walked confidently towards the two remaining, "Who was she?"
