I got pocky, yay! biggrin Thankies! [nibbles on the pocky]
It was just annoying to type that cuz I was on my slow comp... it takes like a minute after you type something for the words to show up so lots of typos happen... ><
And cuz I wanna... Poem! It's been called corny and stuff but whatever here it is...
Reminiscence of Loss, An Ode to Shiba Kaien (Rukia's POV)
Though you suffered a dark, devastating way to die
With me your heart will always lie
You fought for others, died for pride
In my arms you lay as I cried, and cried
I watched, wide-eyed, throughout your fight
Your death, to me, it seemed not right, yet you lay there motionless in the lightless night
As red rain spread, I became a wreck, racked with sobs my body shook
At the lifeless form that lay in my arms I dared not look
Though we were drenched, I dare not leave
Holding you close, this is how I grieve
I remember the fight, the rain, how the wind blew
I remember the instant my sword went through you… What did I do?
As time passed, night darkened, the wind continued to blow, I finally looked down at your figure, black… bloody… still
A new wave of sadness and anger washed over me, how could I have made the kill?
I felt guilt, pain, anger. My heart quickened in my chest
I had been the one to put my love to rest
But you wouldn’t want me to live in pain, this I know
So into that dark place of sadness and guilt I won’t go as it would not be your wish Kaien-dono.

I've actually wondered on this myself. I truly agree with those who've said that Rukia loved Kaien but I don't think Kaien loved her back in the way she loved him. i some times think that Rukia has problems saying her love to Ichigo because she can't let go of Kaien yet. I still think she loves kaien to much to completely love Ichigo at the moment. I still think it'd be cool to see how Ichigo would react if he seen kaien's photo. I hope one day soon he sees that photo just for fun.

If life won't wait... If it wasn't for the fact that Kaien had to go and die on us, he and Rukia would be a pair. I mean, COME ON. Rukia obliviously had, and still does, feelings for him, and it was pretty obvious Kaien had something for Rukia too. You can't really give your heart to someone you don't have some kind of feelings for.
But yeah. If it wasn't for the fact that Kubo had to go and kill him off, Kaien/Rukia would be the ultimate pairing for Bleach. ..c'mon, Ichigo DOES have the personality as a brick sometimes.. ...I guess it's up to me.

Yeah KaienxRukia would of been on fire if kaien lived but still I can't belive I'm saying this but I am anyways...but Ichigo is way better looking.....he doesn't have the EYELASHES ...lol
One of the main reasons Rukia is attached to Ichigo is the fact that he is like Kaien.

Yeah, I think that's why she jumped in front of Ichigo in the first episode. However, with time, I think she learned that Ichigo was his own person and let that go. I think it'd be rather interesting though if when she and Ichigo meet after this whole battle is over, and he found out about Kaien.
...I guess it's up to me.
