Situated all around the village are small to rather spacious apartment complexes and moderate housing - for shinobi who either chose to live away from their respective clans or those simply seeking a daring, independent life of their own. Of course, small to moderate families may also live together in the two story houses. Fairly large families can specifically request housing like that available for the independent Sennin. For newcomers to the village, arrangements for housing may be done at the Hokage's tower.
Genins (living alone): One roomed apartment, tenement style housing.
Chuunins (living alone): One two-roomed apartment, co-op style.
Jounins (living alone): One three-roomed apartment, condo style.
ANBU/Hunter-nins: One four-roomed apartment, condo style.
Sennins (living alone): Generally, the Sennins of Konoha live with their respective clans in their own ancestral estates. If not, due to their special rank, they can choose to live in a five roomed, two-story housing, like the option available for large families.

[enter senju estate] cp +1 Aryza Inuzuka CP:3/4 The nine year old had never noticed just how big the Senju estate really was. It had taken her quiet some time going around it. It would've been faster if she had gone through it but she didn't feel like going into it. Especially not after hearing the commotion that was going on inside. The second she entered the Konoha housing various noises filled the air. Mothers yelling at their children. Kids screaming in the streets playing around. Sound wasn't the only thing to be noticed but the smell in the air as well. Various foods could be smelt from different houses. Her stomach grumbled. All the training had made her quiet hungry. Kuroi wasn't hungry yet having eaten some meat given to him by Kiyoshi.
Ignoring her stomachs constant complains she continued on ward to the Academy. She could already see the Hokage Tower getting closer with each step. Just behind it was the Academy.

Tairu didn't see anything as he looked around then he looked he noticed it, stuck within the branches of a bush was a white and grey tabby. Tairu walked over and carefully free it from the bush. Tairu set the kitten down on the ground but it immediately collapsed. It looked like it's leg was broken. Oh how awful! Didn't Yokou-sama go to the hospital with all of those other ninja, maybe she can help! With that Tairu carefully picked up the kitten and ran off to the hospital to find Yokou-sama with the hopes that she would be able to help the kitten. [Exit to hospital]

Aryza entering the housing district stopped running and started to walk. She did this for two reasons:1 she had ran the whole way and was getting tired and 2 she wanted to catch her breath before having to talk to anyway. Coming across the main building she entered it. Looking around she found the main desk and headed towards it. "Excuse me," she said semi on her toes in order to get a better view of the counter.
"Yes can I help you girl," ask the employee behind it glancing at her curiously wondering what she wanted.
"Yarotai from the academy sent me with a scroll,"she answered handing it to him. "I believe he wants information on a particular student."
The man took awhile to look at the chuunin's requests. "Ah yes. Wait just for a moment I'll be back. " With that he headed into another room. After a while he returned with some files in his hands. It gave them to Aryza. "I believe that is everything he needs."
"Thank you." With that she darted back out of the building and made her way back to the academy. She made sure to be careful and not drop the files.

((enter from Konohagakure))
Rhaim continued to lead Tenma on to the western edge of what was informally known as the Nara Compound. Though most of the clan lived within that certain area, no one had ever taken the time to set up an official boundry or officially register it as the Senju, Hyuuga, and Uchiha had. The children came upon a fair sized home surrounded by a brown wooden privacy wall. The which had a set of wooden double doors that the boy pushed open to get into the grounds of his home.
Within the walls was a small well kept garden and a raised wooden plank path that led from the gate to the house. Though the exterior of the walls had looked very eastern in design, it was obvious that the home itself was mostly of western influence. The boy sighed to Tenma as he gripped the doorknob of the front door and prepared to pull it open.
"Welcome home."
Just as the door began to crack open a small girl just under Tenma's age shot out and took hold of the Genin's shirt. She was wearing a yellow sun dress with floral designs and holding a plush deer in her left hand. With a wide happy smile she looked up at the new resident. "Hi! You're pretty! Do you like hide and seek?"
The next oldest child to come running through the opening was about Tenma's age and wearing an outfit very similar to hers. This sister however embraced the girl in a hug before firing off her machine gun of a mouth. "WOW! I thought you were going to be older! This'll be great! We'll have loads of fun!"
Before a response to either two of the others could be made a girl about a year younger than Rhaim appeared out of the gap. She wore a pair of short jean shorts and a long sleeve orange and blue polo shirt. Her hair, like that of the previous two, was black and held in a long ponytail. A Konoha headband sat neatly on her forehead. She too barraged Tenma in a tight embrace. "COME ON IN! You're so cute! Do you like prawns? Mom is making prawns! I don't know why since Rhaim and dad like prawns more than any of us."
Yet another female latched hold of Tennma as the speech carried on. This sister was obviously a couple years older than Rhaim and wore a green Konoha vest along with her blue jumpsuit and headband. The sleeves were rolled up revealing several varying bracelets on either arm. This sister was also the only one with short black hair instead of long. "WHY HELLO! You're just the cutest little thing ever! Can I keep you? You got the best room in the house! It's right next to the front door, has it's own bathroom, and is easy to sneak out of the house from."
The previous sister was detached by another young woman slightly older than her. This one too wrapped Tenma in a tight hug. She wore a long flowing black skirt and white blouse with a navy blue necktie. Her long black hair was held up with what appeared to be an excess of needles. "WELCOME! I hope our brother hasn't been all doom and gloom with you. Him and dad are such killjoys sometimes."
The next female in line to show her affection to Tenma was still older than the last and appeared to be around twenty. She was easily the bustiest of the group and did not try to hide it with her low cut v-neck top. That of course was complimented by a ridiculously short skin tight black skirt, set of high heel boots that went up past her knees, and spike studded choker around her neck. She too had a Konoha headband on, though it seemed as if it wasn't an item she normally wore. "WELL LOOK AT YOU! It seems our helpless little brother finally did something right. You are just going to love it here!"
The last of the sisters pushed her way in through the crowd and got in her own hug on the poor accosted Tenma. This one too had the green Konoha vest, blue jumpsuit and headband. However she was clearly in her early twenties and had several red and yellow earings in either ear. "WELCOME HOME! You must be our new little Tenma. I would say that I've heard alot about you, but you know how little that brother of ours talks."
As the oldest sisters rant ended the matron of the family stepped forward. She was a very beautiful woman that oddly enough had the same facial features of the girls but the same hair and eye color of Rhaim. "Why don't you girls go make sure dinner isn't burning."
Without a second thought all seven bouncing balls of joy were out of the front entryway of the house and into some deeper portion. The mother smiled down and Tenma and gave her a light hug as well. "Well welcome home. I know it's not much, but we try. My husband and Rhaim not as much as the girls and myself. But they mean well enough. Your room is the first one inside on the right, just over there. I imagine you just want to get settled. Did you not have any bags?"

As the child allowed her focus to drift once again she attempted to take in her surroundings but was thrown off by the various differences in design. It was wild, suddenly being thrown into a new environment, setting, village; everything was different. This, unfortunately caused Tenma to think back, if only momentarily; she remembered the rain soaking her to the bone, the predominant smell of the earth being disturbed by the falling liquid, daily lessons with Nana, and working silently with Nono. However, Rhiam’s voice, once again, brought her back to reality and without having time to prepare herself Tenma was barraged by a surprising, almost frighteningly steady, flow of Nara women.
First was an adorable little girl, not much younger than Tenma, who ran up and grabbed her shirt. The Ame-Gennin was about to have a cute overload if this was what the entire family looked like. As the newcomer opened her mouth to respond there was suddenly another female again younger than Rhiam. With the embrace Tenma froze, stiffening up from the slight shock. She wasn’t used to being hugged, or touched, or anything for that matter. With the constant flow of human contact Tenma focused on faces since names weren’t given. There were three that appeared younger than Rhiam and the other four were blatantly obvious. Tenma never got a chance to respond.
Suddenly the child was relinquished from the questions and hugging and attention by the grace of Rhiam’s mother. She was a particularly astonishing woman and it finally became obvious that Rhiam was in fact related to these women. Tenma felt uncomfortable at the mention of home, but none the less she was there. “Thank you for taking me in, as you all apparently know, I am Fujiko Tenma.” A small bow was all the gratitude the child could muster without trembling from the excessive physical contact with other people. “All I have is my pack,” she said, nodding her head to the cloth knapsack on her back, “but that is all one truly needs.” There was a small smile on her face as she hadn’t spoken with a hospitable adult in a while: a prime example being Senju Taiju. “Is there anything I can assist you with?” Tenma threw a thankful glance and smile over at Rhiam, praying he didn’t feel ignored.

Rhaim was standing back slightly away from the perviously crowded area with his hands in his pockets. His face held the same emotionless flatness that it always did as he watched his siblings swarm Tenma. In all honesty it was actually kind of amusing to see the whole ordeal from the outside. Though the context of his maulings were much different than the one that she had just received. When she finally looked over his way he simply shrugged, glad that she hadn't freaked out too badly.
The mother smiled at the girls innocence and set a soft hand on the girls shoulder. "That's fine dear. You go set your stuff in your room and come meet me and the girls in the kitchen."
She turned to her son and sighed, though still smiling. "And I guess you can go sit out back. But don't get wet. It looks like it'll rain soon."
The boy shook his head at his mother and tilted his head inthe direction of a hall that led further down the building. "I'm going to head to my room. The sensei said that we would be getting letters about squad assignments so I'm going to make sure all of my stuff is ready. I imagine they want us to report tomorrow."
The older woman nodded at Rhaim as she started off towards the kitchen, slow enough for Tenma to follow. "Ok, but don't fall right asleep. I don't want to have to send someone back there to get you."

Nodding at the woman's instructions Tenma slipped into the room, not really taking time to look around, and set her bag on the floor in order to return in a timely manner. When the child did come back out into the entryway she quietly listened to Rhiam speak to his mother before he retreated to his room. As he walked off Tenma shot him another smile, the situation she had been gratiously brought into had her smiling excessively recently. This would be an odd, slightly difficult adjustment, but the Fujiko child was determined to make the best of the blessing she had been given. Somehow the spirits must have aligned or forced things to turn out like this, she had friends that, though they hadn't known each other for very long, were an obvious gift.

The matron of the house led the girl into the kitchen that was full of bouncy bubbling women. All of which were scurrying about the room doing some sort of task to help prepare for the meal. Almost out of nowhere the one with the excess of needles in her hair slipped an apron onto Tenma and gave her a wide bright smile. Chatter was being launched from one side of the room to the other with all manner of giggling being intermixed. The mother walked Tenma over to one of the nearest counters and handed the girl a platter with several cup and a pot of tea.
"If you don't mind could you set the cups on the table and pour the tea? It's just through that door. If you need help just call and one of us, or four, will come help."

Upon entering the kitchen Tenma was overwhelmed by the sudden increase in both heat and noise. There was steam rising from various pots and pans, rushing water, and crackling fires as the women were hard at work while still, apparently, enjoying each other's company. Dinner at home had never been like this. However, even through the crowd of women one of the sisters, Tenma recalled that she was the second eldest if they were introducing themselves in age order, managed to slip the darkly clad child in a white apron. Turning her attention from the older child she focused on the mother. Set the tea and pour; it shouldn’t be too difficult but, since Tenma knew that she was bound to mess up, the child grabbed a rag, tucked it into the waist of her apron, and went to the next room with her tray of cup and tea. The sudden silence washed over the girl as she shot a smile back at the adult who had pointed her in the right direction. It was a wave of relief when the child let out a sigh as the energy in the air settled. Moving over to the table with her tray Tenma set the cups down and lifted one up with her. Setting the teacup down in its appropriate place the child lifted the pot and, not realizing the weight, promptly tipped some hot liquid out of the spout and onto the table. This was a splendid beginning to a new life. Shaking her head the child looked at the spill on the table. She hadn’t even made it all the way over to the cup, she was hardly away from the tray, and she had managed to pour the liquid without a receptacle. If she had been back in Amegakure she would have been scolded by her grandmother, though a kind woman she was, or quickly struck by her grandfather as perfection was a requirement from him. With her head no longer rocking side to side Tenma took the rag from her waist, all too happy that she had brought it along, she wiped up the mess. After a close, though quick, inspection of the spot she found herself content that she had managed to clean all of it and was ready to make another attempt at pouring the tea, theoretically a simple task. With the spot cleaned and Tenma refocused she was ready to give pouring the tea another go. Making an attempt to learn from her previous failure, the child lifted the pot with two hands; one on the handle and the other supporting beneath the spout. True, the child knew it was proper to hold a pot by the handle and use your free hand to keep check on the lid, but this was a special case. The child’s eyes never wavered from the spout, keeping eye out for any rebellious droplet of the scalding liquid decided to rear its head. A few tense seconds of filling the glass and Tenma was proud to see nothing was out of place. Setting the pot back down on the tray the child gladly left the steaming cup to await its consumer. A miniscule smile rest on Tenma’s lips as she took one final glance while picking up the tray in order to move on to her next placement; no, she couldn’t just walk back and forth from where the tray was resting, she had to make it follow her around. This, of course, had unfortunate consequences as she lifted the tray unevenly and all of the cups slid off. If they had been stacked in all of them would have come crashing down and quite possibly shattered against the table. Lucky for the child, who was momentarily frozen with panic at the sliding cups, all they did was slide off of the tray and onto the table. And though this wasn’t her intention, she could make this work since the remaining ten cups were thankfully unharmed. Cups were scattered about the table, but there was lacking shrapnel: always a comforting sign. With her temporary shock relinquishing her tightened muscles the girl began gathering the cups back up. Soon, without incident, there were nine cups on the tray; but this also caused the girl to do a recount. There was one seat with a splendidly poured cup of tea awaiting dinner service and tea empty seats. This meant that she either didn’t bring a cup out or there was a missing cup. Sighing, she dropped to her knees as searched under the table with no luck – which didn’t leave many possibilities. Had she not noticed it on the table somehow? No, that wasn’t the explanation. After standing she looked around, also looking down to check under her feet, Tenma noticed a bulge in the kangaroo pocket of her sweatshirt. Jaw dropping, she pulled out the tenth cup. With her eyebrows furrow she had to remind herself that she had overcompensated when she noticed the cups going and, apparently, the cup managed to slip into her pocket. Shaking her head, though her smile had returned, the child sent the final cup back onto the tray. The door to the kitchen cracked open slightly and the sounds of the activities in the room rolled out. All eight women were still chattering about with great glee and there was still the intermittent laughter. The smell of the food was growing stronger as items were being pulled from ovens and set on the counter. One voice however came out as louder than the rest and was clearly intended for Tenma's ears. It sounded like it might have belonged to the same girl who had given her the apron but there was no way of being certain amongst the clamor.
"Hey Tenma do you need a hand? It might be easier if you set all the cups at once and then just pour the tea. Don't about stains either! Dad and Rhaim are the messiest eaters on the planet!"
