Ah, okay.
Oh and when they're facing gun-drones the majority of the weapons have darkness infused in them, would that be allowed it it's part of the weapon?

The weapon could be used, the Darkness would dissipate. And in terms of shadows within the Nexus Center, there are none, constant halogen flood lighting, in white painted and bare chrome hallways.

Well, they don't need shadows anyways. The Darkness they use comes from inside of them, being surrounded by darkness just helps their magic be stronger.

Dariel could make the areas darker. It's a racial ability of the Shadovar and I know Null knows what that is.

Darkness will work on Psy-Ops, Cyborg Troopers, Adeptus Labrythius(if you can get close enough), but not Gun-Drones. Though Gun-Drones do have the fatal flaw of not being organic in any form.
And Dariel could try, but this place is build to be Khane Proof, remember this.

Yeah the campaign setting for Call of Ktullu can get freaky, you have sanity points on your character sheet.
