Its also a completely fanon. I personally like the idea, but there are still protocols. In this case, Section 2, part 5.
In reality, its a mod choice, but doing it in the senate is tradition now that we have it, too see whose interested. Then with that backing, its usually let fly by the mod squad.

But we did not have stellar go through that. I see no reason why Rodyn should be forced to as well. I think the other Mods would agree with me on this, given our recent deliberations.

In short, the mods all agreed that temporarily there is unilateral allowance on member sponsored rps. In short, if you want to think about it, all five mods have stated given clearance to actually support the RP anyway. So one can logically conclude that if it were to go to the senate, it's already been seconded and given five votes of yay.

Well, technically Stellar had the backing of four mods, so it automatically got passed into development.
And I did see that EK made a comment, but still, he should formally present it in some fashion. Your gonna be moderating it in the end, so if it goes to hell, its not only on his shoulders.
As much as its an interesting concept, its delicate, we need to know that people will join. Thats why it should still be presented to the guild as a whole.
EDIT: We posted at the same time Nelo, but I see your point.

As much as I appreciate being told how to do my job, you can stop it now.
I know what I'm doing and I wouldn't do anything if I didn't think a majority of the other mods wouldn't agree with my actions.
Given the current mood of the administration, I believe Rodyn is in his right to proceed with his idea.

Note that the mods aren't actually going to be handling any of teh member sponsored rps, either. If it goes to heck, it'll simply be moved to the scrapheap.
