-Livverz- Domo_Ownage -Livverz- Domo_Ownage -Livverz- Domo_Ownage He leaned his head against the window frame as he sat looking out upon the city, thinking to himself. As he was in mid-thought, a small snow being came up on the back of the couch and started telling him something.
"Shut up." He said before slamming his fist backwards, crushing the being's head into the wall and sending shadows scattering up the wall and down under the couch.
Down on the streets, in a small alleyway littered with trash and rats, a small ray of moonlight was shining through a gap in the brick wall at the end. The alley could be seen from the window, but you wouldn't have noticed the person teleport into the moonlight, unless you were watching the alley directly. As it was, a small figure that appeared to be a woman suddenly appeared in the alleyway. She quickly slipped into the shadows, hoping she hadn't been seen. It was late at night, and most people were asleep, but all the same, this was a dangerous place. It was nighttime, and it was full of those shadow-controlling leeches. She started off down the alley, making for the main road.
His senses were piked instantly, as if someone had stepped on his toes. He quickly stood up and jumped out of the window, sailing through the air until he landed on top of a building from which he scanned the area. It didn't seem like anything was there, until something strangely bright caught his eye. He didn't want to risk being seen by the figure so he trailed a little ways behind it on the rooftops, trying to find out where it was going
The hair raised on the back of her neck, and she got the feeling she was being watched. She paused in her walked and listened closely, but heard nothing. She even listened for thoughts, but all she heard were the innocent minds of people in their apartments. If someone was following, they were being quiet. She half turned to look behind her, before continuing to walk on slowly. She felt her hands tingle a little, but ignored it.
Damn shadows...
As he continued to follow, he watched as the figure stopped and looked around, searching for whatever was following it. Damn perceptive, that's for sure. he thought to himself. He quickly grew tired of following her and jumped off the rooftops, landing softly on the ground behind her.
"You certainly seem out of your element..What brings you to these parts?" He asked, taking no stance to defend himself from the inevitable retaliation of a surprised traveler.
She stiffened when he alighted behind her and spoke, and her hands tingled more, beginning to glow. It was a knee-jerk reaction to the presence, which she knew could only mean one thing: A shadow being. She whipped around to set her eyes on it.
"What do you know!?" She snapped back. She sneered at him a little, trying to keep back the glow. She was finding it hard, being so close to...
One of them...
He raised an eyebrow. "My, you certainly are jumpy! Which proves my point that you are indeed out of your element." He exploded into whisps of smoke and appeared behind her again. "What do I know? I know that you're not from around here, and I'm curious as to your business is all. I won't do you any harm, just tell me what I want to know and I'll be on my merry way."

At the word "you", she whipped around again and sent the orb hurtling at his face. She quickly clapped her hands together and brought them out in a fan, creating a white, semi-transparent shield for herself. Like the orb, it was glowing.

:s Kind of the same situation with me.. XD;; he goes to the same school as I do, but we don't really TALK outside of the internet..online he's a chatterbox but in real life..we like..avoid each other..at most we just say hi. XD;; and his friends started some shiz with mine as well. So yeah...that'll be awkward.... xd ;;

He bent his head backwards at a 90 degree angle and watched the orb zoom over his head. "Wo-ho-hoah, Light user is packing heat!" he flicked his wrist and a sizeable ice spear extended into his grip, along with a katana writhing with shadows in the other. He ran at her and planted the spear, allowing him to vault over her shield and trim some of her hair off with his katana before landing.
