is just has a slide
* Tenor Trombone
* Bass Trombone
* Contrabass Trombone
* Alto Trombone
* Soprano Trombone
* Sopranino and Piccolo Trombones
* Valve Trombone

basically
most people start out with its becasue its the easiest trombone to play on
I've had mine since 7th grade
