Hebal gasped wagging her finger at Mari sternly "Hey don't be all glum and stuff! It was a gift silly, you can't return or pay for your own gift. Plus just knowing your satisfied with the armor is good enough for me" she reassured her with a crushing bearhug "Itaka's arm was way more expensive to make than your suit if that makes you feel any better"

Felina sighed pointing to the picture of the chocolate cake on the menu "Yeah but he doesn't know what we do about the business with him and Narasaela. Though I guess there is some hope since his brothers body was never found. As for his parents, his mum was in jail for treason and his dad just seemed to disappear. I have no idea what happened to my aunt, either executed or locked up with no thoughts of release" she whispered not wanting anybody to overhear.
Satoshi snickered tapping her foot to the music coming from inside "Yeah it probably is always ladies night but look on the brightside. It means that the few males around are probably going to get all kinds of attention and special treatment" she pointed out indicating to a group of gria that were watching him "See you've got fans already"
Yusti grinned coming to a stop outside Mari's cabin which was currently guarded by another gria and a moogle "I believe this one is yours. Anyway it would be up to you to decide what you can and can't use and whether or not there should be a limit on what spells you can cast since your more of an expert than any of us... that doesn't mean you won't have to keep studying" she quickly added.

Oassu's mouth opened slightly in a silent gasp "Wow...I didn't know his family was bad still....hopefully his brother is ok and his father too..." he said sadly "Does he know what happened?" he asked.
Gil blushed waving gently at the girls "I guess so but maybe that means I'll get cheap drinks and whatnot seeing as it could be guys night" he chuckled "Though you'll probably get some attention yourself" he said.
Zadina nodded "I'd need to think up loadsa rules and different degrees but don't you worry Miss Yusti I'm always studying!" he promised with a salute as they stopped outside Mari's house.
Mari laughed "Ok ok relax Hebal, you'll wake Sophia" she said returning the hug "I guess his was a lot more complex but really thanks I owe you big time for this" she said releasing Hebal "Still I guess WE should get to bed" she said giving the pixie circling them a stern look as Ivy sullen joined Sophia in the scarf.

Hebal smiled moving back slightly realising she was almost right in the face of one of the guards "Yeah his arm thing is made of much harder metal with more flame resistence than yours. Your armor was made to be balenced out between toughness and how easy it is to move in though... maybe I should have made you a helmet to go with it. Oh well I'll leave you to go to sleep time if you want" she shrugged it off giggling slightly at Ivy.

Felina paused working out an answer she would be satisfied with "I don't know if he does. Dad didn't even tell me about it until I was about Mari's age but please, don't mention it to Zadina in case he doesn't know because that would really upset him" she requested falling silent for a moment deciding how much more to say "I heared she was helping Narasaela out with his experiments"
Satoshi smirked shuffling forward in the cue "Nah probably not. I don't stand out to the extent you do and well... for every guy there has to be at least a few hundred ladies. Though be warned, don't take advantage too much if you do get cheap drinks because I don't really have the chakra right now for another teleportation" she sighed wishing she could have got them past security.
Yusti chuckled reminding the guards in their own language that Mari still had time before she was meant to be inside "sorry about those grumpy girls they just get impatient" she muttered to Mari scratching her wing which was beginning to get an itch "Thats good but you'll need to be really social and meeting loads of other strong magic people to help you out. You may think you've covered everything in a rule book but even now after about 14 years of doing this tournament we still occasionally discover things we never put in so its best many people check"

Oassu nodded quietly "Well thats not very nice, it's a good thing Zadina has turned out as well as he has, hopefully his Dad wasn't into that stuff too" he said holding Felina's hand "But forget about it everything is fine now, Zadina is happy with us," he said smiling.
Gil chuckled "I'll be ok for walking home I know my limits" he promised her "We'll have great fun tonight and you'll get plenty of attention from me at least" he said kissing her neck and stroking her shoulder.
Zadina nodded "Ok I'll be giving it lots of thought and need to seek people out for it and everything too" he promised already thinking about all the people he should ask to arrange it.
Mari laughed "Don't worry my head will be fine but thanks for everything today Yusti, what time will I need to be up tomorrow?" she asked.

Hebal smiled at Yusti then turned around pulling a brief silly face at the more serious looking guard "It's ok those two aren't bothering us but is everything ok Yusti? Your doing a lot of scratching" she wondered using her hands to take measurements of Mari's head size regardless of what she said "Ok ok lemmie know if you do need one and I'll make it now I have your head size and I guess this is night night" she almost whispered to Mari remembering her pets.

Felina nodded sadly but soon picked up a bit upon seeing the waitress bringing them their desserts "Yeah I guess your right though one day he will need to learn the truth from someone. Moving on to a slightly happier note its for the best Narasaela failed at everything since otherwise our journey would be nowhere near as fun and Yithra wouldn't be such a nice place. Well.... maybe not now while they are rebuilding things but in time it will be all nice again" she grinned picking up her fork waiting until Oassu's food was placed on the table before making a start"
Satoshi sighed reaching up to return the kiss but was cut short by the crowd behind her pushing her forward "How ride of them" she muttered huffishly "It wasn't the walking home bit that got me thinking, we've got to navigate our way back to our cabin if we get too far into the city on our night out" she explained slightly annoyed that one of the gria in front of them in the queue turned around to ask Gil to sign her t-shirt.
Yust smiled glancing down at her watch "Same time as yesterday, you need to be up and ready to check the boards before 10 so half 9 would probably be a good time to go if you don't mind waiting in line for a bit. I'll take these guys back out when Mari is ready to go inside so stop worrying so much" she added to the pink haired gria "It shouldn't be too hard to find people, I mean your an elf. Elves have a reputation for being amazing mages cause they have so much study time"

Oassu nodded "Kurgan can tell him if he ever shows up or your dad can tell him since he'll know the details better don't worry" he said glad as his ice cream arrived "Oooh yummy, what did you get?" he asked.
Gil frowned taking her pen and idly signing the corner of her T-shirt "There you go..." he said handing her the pen back before returning his attention to Satoshi "I think we'll be alright, we didn't head far I mean we can see it from here" he said looking over the edge of the platform where the arena they fought in earlier could be seen.
Mari nodded giving Hebal and Zadina a last good-night hug "Yeah I guess it is but you don't need to make a helmet for me" she laughed "Still I'll see you guys tomorrow I guess" she said waving them goodbye and allowing Ivy to fly around giving them all, especially Hebal, kisses goodnight before following Mari into the cabin.
Zadina nodded "Yeah I can talk to some of my old teachers back at the mage academy still do you think we should get going home now Miss Hebal it is dark and cold now" he said shivering.

Hebal waved Mari off then spun around to join in with Yusti and Zadina's conversation "Ok ok we can go back now. We aren't really allowed in this area anyway since we aren't fighting. Got Yusti to thank for that" she chirped jumping between them and placed an arm around them each "So what you guys talking about anyway?" she asked noticing Seph exit the arena out the corner of her eye.

Felina licked her lips cutting off a big chunk of her food with the fork "Hehe it's chocolate cake silly... and it's very yummy too, not the best in the world but that doesn't matter" she added after taking a bite. "It will most likely be dad since I am not even sure how much Kurgan knows about the situation. The only one I know to have worked it out on their own is Elithana"
Satoshi grinned happy that they were finally being allowed in by the bouncers to replace a group who were leaving the club "Yeah but we might want to go and move onto another if this club proves to be no good or we just fancy a bit of a change" she pointed out shielding her eyes almost blinded by the sudden increase in lighting "Now don't you go signing anymore autographs. you look like you could do with a nice hassle free night"
Yusti gasped but flew on forward despite being under Hebal's grip "Zadina was just asking me stuff about how possible it would be to set up a magic based arena tournament in future. But have you not got a coat or a warming/lighting up spell inside that big thick spellbook of yours?"

Oassu smiled "I guess so but nevermind" he said stroking Felina's face slightly "Forget about it, we can give him a little allowance and he'll be happy, besides maybe his brother is alive." he said happily.
Gil sighed thanking the bouncers as they let him past "Seems good to me" he said turning away to focus on Satoshi now the lights got in his face "Don't worry I won't," he chuckled "Though there's so many women here" he said as female Gria filled the club. "Where should we go?" he asked moving to the side where there was more room.
Zadina nodded flickering through his spell book and casting a spell causing warmth and light to radiate from his book "There we go Miss Yusti though Miss Hebal's fur is snuggly and warm" he said getting comfortable under her arm "But yeah I'm planning on making a big magical arena place for mages like me Miss Hebal!" he said happily.
Itaka smiled "Well wasn't that great?" he said going up to give Seph a hug "You did well in there, though I'm surprised you didn't finish it earlier, was she tougher than expected?" he asked kissing her horns and cuddling her.

Hebal smiled almost jumping up in surprise at the sudden increase of light "Ooh your spell book has like turned into a fire without the flames and smoke. Sounds like a good plan but remember to do all the other stuff first cause if you juggle making an arena with jumping and training with Gil and finding your aunt a chicobo you won't be able to awesome in any of them" she advised riffling his hair "I wish I had more stuff planned out when I was your age, would be a great thing to motivate me to study instead of paint other peoples stuff when they weren't looking"
Seph chuckled stroking Itaka's back during the hug "That was ok if disappointing. She had a lot of speed and clearly was good at charging, too bad she sucked and left herself open. I just let her go crazy for a bit while I worked out her weak points" she answered happy to finally be able to relax.

Felina nodded trying to shrug the thoughts off with her chocolate cake "Yeah lets forget about the skeletons in my family closet for a little bit... have you heared much today about how all the matches went? I've heared little news as to how everyone elses went" she asked him changing the subject onto the first thing she could think of.
Satoshi paused glancing around the room informing herself of the surroundings "Well we could either order drinks, sit down at a table or hit the dance floor, it's your choice" she answered glad to see nobody was going to pester them "And are you really that surprised it's all ladies? Just be happy they haven't decorated the place completely in pink and pretty flowers" she giggled.
Yusti hesitated deciding against pointing out to Zadina and Heal that in such long periods of time a lot of things never turn out as planned "Sounds like a good plan for the future so long as you put all those skills to good use. I don't want you doing anything evil or naughty" she told his glaring at a group of training bangaa causing too much noise

Oassu smiled "Well apart from the ones we saw....nah though I'm curious as to how Seph and Satoshi's fights went, Mari's too, it's a shame she was on the secondary arena, we can't watch that one down there but it was odd being considered a ViP today" he said eating his ice cream.
Gil smiled "Well why don't we go and boogie before getting a drink?" he said taking Satoshi's hand and leading her to the dance floor "And yea your right its really no surprise there's so many women though the few guys are lucky" he chuckled noting a male Gria in a booth surrounded by girls
Zadina frowned "Of course I won't Miss Yusti I'm a good Elf" he said sternly "And yes it's just a little enchanted spell but I'll remember, I expect I'll need to set the arena up when I'm closer to Uncle Elorin's age anyway since I've got a bit much to do just now" he said.
Itaka smiled picking up Seph and putting her on hit back "Yeah you were great there but now is your time to relax," he said moving onwards "So we'll go get Chobi then what would you like to do now?" he asked.
