She walked up to Sau, her eyes soft and understanding.
"Why do you walk this path? It is a hard one, and leaves many broken, scarred, and you loose loved ones. Why do you walk the path of darkness?"
Jeannette rested her head on his shoulder.
"I know it will but we have to be patient... for Zuri-chan at least..."

Sau kept trying to not look at her but it was hard. "Because I have nothing left...the one I loved hurt me...I was already broken and scarred..." he clenched his fists. "I even killed dad...because he never loved me."

Jeannette let go as Romano came running in with Asomi who went straight to Zuri.
Asomi handsealed and began to take the poison out of her system.
Jeannette looked confused.
"where did the poison come from?"
Romano looked at her surprised.
"There's poisonous gas at the bottom of the gorge."
His mom turned him around.
"Who was this person who hurt you?" There was motherly protectiveness in her eyes now. "No one hurts my son and gets away with it..."
Ori had stopped running now. She was deep in the forest, lost.
Keir appeared infront of her.
"Hmmm... Is little Ori okay?"
Ori glared up at him, scooting back.
"Stay away!"

Veneziano nodded. "Y-ya...father told us a story about that..."((lol, it's a funny story to me!))
Sau pulled away but the tree was behind him. "No one important...she probaly already killed herself." his voice cracked a bit. "Why did you leave me? I didnt want to stay with father..."

Jeannette was still confused.
"Then how come I'm not sick?"
Asomi was to concentrated on healing Zuri.
Romano shrugged.
Tears filled her eyes as they turned red, blood red. The tears that dripped down her face were tinted with red.
"Because I didn't want any of the two of you to become like me.... I didn't want my disease to touch you two." She looked down. "I was protecting you..."
Keir sighed.
"I'm done okay Ori..." He growled grabbing a fistful of his hair. "I'm done with the darkness.. the cost is too much..."
Ori looked up at him shocked, then in disbelief.
"Your lying.."
Keir growled at her viciously.
"Do you see the tendrils anywhere?!"

Veneziano fiddled with his scarf. "Maybe your immune to that poison..."
Sau finally had tears down his cheeks, he couldn't hold them in. "Why didn't you ever come back? Why now?" he whipped his cheek with his sleeve.

She took in a shaking breath.
"Because before you didn't need me.. you had someone else to keep you going..." she looked at him quickly for a second before looking back down. "But now appearently that person is gone." She took in another deep breath and looked up at him. "So contagious or not I'm going to be here for you two..."
Ori seriously didn't see the darkness anywhere.
"Prove it..."
Keir rolled his eyes and opened his hand. A soft white glow came from it that got gradually brighter before he closed his hand back up.
"See..."
Jeannette sighed.
"Guess so..."
Asomi looked at Romano.
"romano... go get the bandage wraps from the closet..."
Romano nodded running in and grabbing the badages.

Sau kept crying, pretending like he wasn't since his hair covered most of his face. "Ori needs you more than me..." he stepped to the side and turned, running off.
Veneziano gripped Jeannette's hand tightly. "Will she be ok mommy?"

Jeannette gently squeezed back.
Asomi sighed.
"I dont know Vene..." She smiled grimly. "It's her choice whether or not she get's better. She has to do most of the fight..."
Romano came back with the wrap bandages. He backed up and let Asomi wrap up zuri.
His mom sighed and followed him.

Sau kept running till he was out of breath and fell to his knees exhausted.
Veneziano nodded. "Come on Zuri...don't let that guy ruin your life..." he sniffled.

His mom showed up a few seconds later.
"I'm... not... going... to... leave... you... alone. Ever again."
Asomi sighed standing up and walking away.
Jeannette hugged Vene again, It was breaking her heart to see him this way.

Veneziano hugged her tight. "D-don't tell anyone I'm a crybaby..." he muffled, he always cried when he was scared or hurt. Mostly scared.

She kept stroking his hair telling him it was okay.
Zuri's breath became stronger, her hand twitched a little and she groaned.
