"Sure... how about over by the lake.. I'll head over there right now."

Cassie started flying towards the lake.. she hoped Chris wasn't there. Cassie knew he liked that spot...Whatever happened.. it must of been bad. Talk about massive guilt.

The rest of the meal had been eaten in silence. He had been partially listening to Hartley's ranting about the goodness of Hostess snack cakes, and partially tuning him out because he kind of sounded like a selfish a*****e. It was better for the both of them if he didn't focus on Hartley's flaws. They had walked back to the dorms, with Wallace silent and Hartley babbling. And then, they had gone their separate ways.

Wallace headed back to his dorm room, but on the way there he was cut off by none other than Mary. "Did you hear about Chris and Cassie?"

He opened his mouth to reply, but it's not like she was going to give him the chance to.

"They broke up. She dumped him in this really evil text. It was like, bitchy to the max. And he's all sad about it, and he's been hanging out with your roomie and his spaz boyfriend, all mopey.

"Like, she totally blocked Chris out. She didn't even give him a chance to text back. She just gave him total b***h. All cold. Ice Queen and stuff. And I was talking about how cruel she was in the cafeteria, right? Everyone was talking about how she was such a b***h, and Wally West was all 'She's not a b***h!' then he ran out of the room dramatically. Way to stick up for your friend, right? Doesn't that violate some sort of bro creed?"

Wallace paused, and his eyes met Mary's mischievously. There was something certainly strange about that. "Do you think...?" Wallace began.

"Oh, I think."

"I'll spread the word."

"Me too."

Wallace gave Mary a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek before heading back to his own dorm room, where Teddy was comfortably settled on his bed. "So," he began, "I'm pretty sure Wally and Cassie have a little somethin' somethin' going on."

"She did, did she?" Mary had swiveled her gossip laden mouth in Jack's direction, and since she had awesome tits, he decided he'd listen. Turns out that Cassie was a little hobag. He had always suspected that about her. She had that look. That look that just screamed, I SPREAD 'EM FOR ANYTHING. He knew that look because he was naturally drawn to it. There was something very demure about a lady with that look. The kind of demure that would require her not to ever meet your mother.

Scratching his chin, he looked over at the empty bed where Chris had once been. It had been great without him here.

"And I think she might have ... a thing for Wally."

"He's gay."

"What?"

"He's my gay make-out sidekick."

"Oh, not Wallace. Wally. Chris' new roomie."

Red alert. Cassie McHobag had been all up in Wally's grill instead of Chris'. When Chris found out, he'd want to move back into his room. That was not going to be happening. No way. He liked having his own private lady loving lair and no dweeb needed to move back in and wreck it.

"So...how slutty is she?"

"She's a total b***h."

"Duh, she dumped the dude who went to Ancient Rome for her."

"Greece."

"Same thing."

"I don't know if she'll want to keep being with different dudes though since she's getting a reputation for being the school's bicyc--"

"What about you?"

"Huh?"

"You want to be my bicycle?"

"You're a smarmy boy!" Mary exclaimed before heading back off down the hallway.

Smarmy. That sounded ... like a compliment? She totally wanted him. They all did. Especially Cassie.

*The applause was polite but Chris could tell they were surprised he wasn't bawling on stage through some breakup song. They expected it...hell, they wanted it. Chris grimaced. Well, he wasn't going to give them it.*

Amora was a new student here at the prestigious H.H. The first thing she wanted to do was annoy her dearest buddy Donald Blake, so she decided to follow him around and make fun of him in front of all the cute girls. But this was only an added bonus, for she secretly had like, a major crush on him and wanted him for herself, but for some reason her love spells didn't work on him very well. He was like, some major god of thunder in disguise or something. Thus, by doing this she managed to keep him single for herself.

"Isn't he the cutest thing?!" She squealed affectedly as she pulled his cheek in front of one blonde girl she hadn't met yet.

"Cut it out, Amora!" He yelled out, flailing his arms in an effort to break from her grasp. She giggled, but inside her heart was melting by how unresistably cute he was behaving.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAW, SAILOR! THAT'S A SONG A WOMAN CAN DIG! BEERS ON THE HOUSE!

*The crowd of mostly students swiveled as one to look at Zinda.*

YUP! FROSTY ROOT BEER! C'MON AND GET YOUR SUPPER, SAILOR!

*The crowd muttered to themselves as Chris made he way to the bar. He didn't think that Zinda realized what she almost promised by accident. She sent a burger and fries before him and left him to eat in peace. He casually picked at the food but found he seriously lacked an appetite.*

Lind a giggles at their cute, playful banter.

"This is all so wonderful. You guys seem just great."

She got out of bed streaching.

"I don't know about you Clark. But I feel a whole lot better. All the wonderful sun, just changed me right up! How about we head back to Hero High now?"

Blake's cheeks turned hot red; he was mortified by Amora's dumb girlishness and wanted to get away from her as fast as he could.

"Leave me alone already!" he yelled, as if almost in a fit, and began to run away from her towards the school. She could learn about the campus on her own, he figured, without getting into too much trouble.

Amora's giggles slowly faded as she saw him escape her grasp. Why couldn't he just love her and be her eternal man-slave? is all she wondered. Would that be so cruel? She couldn't help it. One more go at it couldn't hurt, right? While Blake's figure remained within eyesight, she slowly raised her arms. Swirls of pink love-magic circled her hands, and in one quick motion her arm shot towards Blake's figure.

"Salamarin!" she cried. An enormous beam of magical energy shot towards the school. It grew as it flew, becoming so large that it encapsulated the entire grounds, making everything glow momentarily a translucent pink.

"Uh oh..." she muttered to herself, quite surprised by a display of power she never thought herself capable of.

The spell she cast would make everyone fall in love with the first person they saw.
