EdwardHau You know, backlogging is sort of like reading a new novel that you feel will some day be known and loved throughout the world. A great novel, filled with everything that makes any book wonderful. Except this particular novel was written by a crack addict, who had spent a very unfortunate seven years in a Vietnamese prison camp. Well, it's still chock full of goodness. Thank you everyone. rofl heart You're welcome! How far have you gotten?

AzurePaleSky Shoujo Phoenix AzurePaleSky English is awesome; I'm thinking of minoring in it, but then I might not be able to graduate in a total of three years. I write lots of stories and ultimately want to be a writer, but my school doesn't have a creative writing major. Psychology should be fun!! You can talk psych talk with Kimi. I took an intro class of it (with over 800 students gonk ) and it was interesting. You can learn about Phineus Gage!! He had a pole go through his brain in the 1800s (I think) and he survived with major behavioural changes! It severed the connection between the frontal lobe and the lymbic system. The frontal lobe controls behavior and the behavior comes from the lymbic system. Phineus would like, be overly emotional due to the lack of that connection. His frontal lobe could no longer supress emotions from the lybic system so he would overreact and such. I think one of the first "frontal lobotomy" (well, not really a complete lobotomy...just a chunk taken out) case studies. 4laugh [/nerd] [edit]He got the pole through his head because there was an explosion where he worked and a huge railroad stake thing went through. b***h, you don't know the real story!! So he was all, man, I want some pie but I'm supposed to be working. So he runs around, doing work-like things and throws a metal pole at this like totally hot old chick who is holding some steaming pie, hoping to knock her down and steal her pie. Well, she knew Phineas was one sly player, so she immediately grabbed a huge sheet of rubber, causing the metal pole to bounce off of it and come back to Phineus, causing him to be impaled!!! Yay Phoneus! [yay fun with typing] God, you are a weird one Kimi. Get yer facts straight and ungay them. Remember what we said! You cannot lose Teh Gay! Teh Gay gets you and stays with you! domokun

AzurePaleSky Zero Omega AzurePaleSky Zero Omega AzurePaleSky Zero: good luck! Going to a community college makes it so much easier and you'll probably be able to go almost anywhere you want! Do you have any idea what you want to major in yet? UCLA should have a lot to choose from smile They won't even look at your high school grades, just your college grades. Certain community colleges say they have deals with certain schools, (like the community college near my house says it's easier for their students to transfer to UCSB) but I don't know much about that. Yeah, I heard a lot about communit college and how good it is for transfering. I wanted to do it beforehand to work on my math (because I'm really bad at it) then work on the transferring from there. No idea what I want to major in yet, I'm pretty sure I want to minor in English. But major, not sure, maybe psychology or something with computers. LACC should have some kind of deal with my high school, John Marshall, buuuut~ I've heard a lotta bad things about LACC, so I'm going with GCC. English is awesome; I'm thinking of minoring in it, but then I might not be able to graduate in a total of three years. I really got interested in English after my two AP Classes in high school (Language and Literature). The funny thing is, while I like books, I can't read 'em for long periods of time. xd But I kinda wanna get into that so I feel this'll be good for me. Psychology has always interested me, especially after playing Xeongears and seeing the great level of psychology used in that game... How does one go about getting a pole through his brain? eek You took both AP english classes in high school?? Me too! I hated the language one. I'm the opposite; I need a while with books. I can't read them in short amounts of time. It's great to have classes devoted to a few books though. It helped me destress last quarter! Yeah, I wasn't gonna take any AP Classes for Senior Year, but I'm glad I did, the classes were small and filled with all my friends. I loved both my classes, the teachers were awesome. My AP Language teacher has his own band (he wrote in my yearbook, see you at some Bodies of Water shows. xd ) that's pretty good, and my AP Literature teacher was very easy-going abd hilarious. I learned to love a lot of classic English literature like A Brave New World and Heart of Darkness but I just can't find myself reading it.
