it's one of the symbols associated with her, black roses.
anyway, i'm thinking of a basis alreday, somthing about perhaps, "as the petals of this black rose fall away, so too do the layers of my life peel, creeping ever toward the death that lies beneath." or along those lines. is it meant to be long, or just such a simple analogy like that?
