"Okay. Couch it is." Lily smiled and stroked Arlen's cheek before leading him to the couch. When they got there, she helped him sit. "Here we are."
"Sweet, right now, I don't have the energy to do anything but remain calm." Vincent told her honestly, stroking her hair. "And I'll rest... what happened to Kaden?" he asked; despite his words, there was a small growl in his voice that promised a world of hurt if the boy he thought of as a son was hurt.

Ukaia sighed and then explained. How she'd wanted a bit of fun and started to get drunk. How river had threatened Kaden's life, how she'd brought out her claws.. the argument.. the promice river had
Why she'd begged Arlen to go out. how .. shattered she'd felt. She even told him about her blindly going to the slave trade to compose herself this morning and the man who'd gotten her out of the perdiciment
"So right now.. Kaden's about17, and afraid you wont' love him because he's not little anymore" sh esaid to him.

Lily nodded, then sat next to him, softly rubbing his shoulder. "Want to put your head in my lap?"
Vincent was silent for a long, long time. "I wish you'd woken me." He said finally, then hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry you went through that alone... and of course I still love him." he kissed her forehead, then sighed. "I'll have to find him tomorrow, and talk to him."

Ukaia sighed relaxing
"I was a bit drunk and didn't think of it" she said nuzzling him and sniffling soflty
"And htis morning.. i wasn't fully aware of anything untill i'd sorted the pain away.. only to relaize i went and trapped myself like that" she huggled him tightly then smiled up at him, even if it was a bit wattery then said
"Definaly shower first.. you really stink.." she giggled

"Of course." Lily smiled, then gently pulled him down, laying his head on her lap. Stroking his brow, she looked down at Arlen, sympathy in her eyes. "Better?"
Vincent made a face, then playfully swatted her bottom. "I know I do." he chided gently. "And now you do too, from the cuddling." he teased, wanting to make her feel better, forget about the pain for a time.

Ukaai squeeked at the unexpeted swat. Then covered her mouth. That had sounded quite a bit like a mouse squeeking. She blushed
"Meanie!" she said to thim tickling his sides a bit

Vincent grinned at her, then squirmed away from her fingers, giving a convincing pout. "Don't tickle the sick man!" he begged.
"I'm glad you think so, sweetheart." Gently, Lily began to rub his temples, trying to help him relax. Bending down, she brushed a light kiss over his lips, then smiled. "You're starting to purr in human form." she teased, then started her own quiet trilling.

"You're welcome love" Ukaai said pulling the blankets around him,. filling a cup with water and setting it in arms reach and smoothe his hair then kissed his lips
"Sleep well love.. get better' she whispered turning off the light and walking tothe door witht he empty bowl

Arlen blushed a bit, but as Lily continued to rub the almost purring came back as Arlen's eyes shut the rest of the way.
