Maerua If any of you use Stylish for Firefox or Chrome (works in Stylish for Firefox for sure, not sure about Chrome version), I wrote a userstyle that changes how the new Promote My Post banners look. Edit: New userstyles.org link hereAnd here's a screenshot of how it looks (taken from GCD and CB; 'scuse the white lines from throwing it together):  The original banners have a strong contrast to the rest of the forum page, so I toned down the colors and canned the pictures. I left the icons untouched but it's very easy to remove or replace them. that's super nifty, Jay! biggrin one question: what is Stylish and how do I get it?

Stylish is a browser extension that allows you to write and use custom CSS (cascading style sheets) locally on any page you view. People often use Stylish to change the layout of Youtube/GMail/whatever, to hide features they don't like, or just give pages some new color scheme. Stylish for Firefox can be installed through Firefox's Addons page, and Stylish for Google Chrome/Chromium can be found in the Chrome Web Store.

Stylish is a browser extension that allows you to write and use custom CSS (cascading style sheets) locally on any page you view. People often use Stylish to change the layout of Youtube/GMail/whatever, to hide features they don't like, or just give pages some new color scheme. Simplified: Stylish lets you change parts of websites, but only on your side and only how stuff looks by specifying properties of the little bits of pages. For example you have paragraphs inside of paragraph tags. What color is the text within all paragraph tags? How large is it? Verdana or Arial font? To get Stylish on Firefox, go hereFor Chrome, go hereMy handy-dandy new userstyles.org link is here with a big green button. I'm not sure if it will work 100% for Chrome, but it does for Firefox.

I know some stuff about computers but know ******** about phones. It's why I stick with the same phone for years on end and refuse to "upgrade" to smartphones... sweatdrop

Maerua I know some stuff about computers but know ******** about phones. It's why I stick with the same phone for years on end and refuse to "upgrade" to smartphones... sweatdrop I didn't ask for this huawei... my mom hasn't smoked pot in 6 months now so she has saved up hundreds of dollars. but with all the stress around the house and work she has taken to bitching at everyone for little s**t. so in an attempt to guilt-trip me or bribe me or SOMETHING, she just shoved the damned thing in my face and told me to shape up. it took me over a week of confusion and consternation from not even knowing how I felt about that before I finally decided I had an opinion and told her straight up that I don't owe her a damn thing. and to make matters worse, she got screwed over anyway. xp she is so bad at deals....
