With a little jump she turned to face him, startled because she hadn't felt his presence. But of course she couldn't feel anyone since her powers were basically at zero.
"Just a tad...." she replied with her quiet voice. "How are you tonight Sir?"

He then looked out the window.
"So, can you step out tonight?"

She laughed "Nope not until Halloween after dark..." she sighed with a shrug gazing out the window once more.
"Can I get you anything?" she asked eager to do something to get her mind off things.

She couldn't help but laugh again "Avoided is a strong word sir....But alright....What would you like to know?"
He was an interesting man and it was better to talk then to sulk and pace.
She pulled up two chairs so that they could sit then bustled about to get beverages for them both.

zing walked into the bar,normally he was in a good mood around halloween but this was differnt.as he walked in he made a beeline for the nesrest wall and proceeded to bang his head against it three times while yelling stupi at himself then sat down and got a drink.

"It's funny you would ask that....." She sighed "Actually I don't know much about my past....I can only remember what happened after I was 10 so I can't really tell you when or how it started."
She shrugged obviously knowing that there wasn't really anything that could be done.

She closed her eyes. She didn't want to tell him what happened. She knew exactly why it happened every year and it wasn't something you just tell people.
"I....Umm.....I don't know..." she lied. "Whatever it's not big deal...I can go out tomorrow night...."

She tilts her head wondering why he would have to come with her but she didn't protest.
"Actually...... I don't have a costume so I don't think I'm going...." She shrugged. She hadn't ever gone trick or treating actually.
