"Oh," Arlen said, returning to his soup. A moment later he set the spoon down in his half finished meal and leaned against Lily. "I don't want you to get sick cuz of me." he said softly.

"Okay." Vincent agreed easily, not in the mood to argue. "We'll go to yours..." he stood unsteadily, holding her hand, then gave another weak smile. "Thank you love."
"Hey, I didn't last time, did I?" Lily asked quietly, one arm going around him, her other hand gently stroking his hair. "I'll be fine... you concentrate on getting better, okay?"

Ukaia used her tail to hold the cup and he free hand the bowl. The other guiding Vincent to her own room
"Fresh clean sheets"s he said as he got in and she set the food in his lap putting the cup to the side
"There.. you rest now ok? when you're finished eating just set the bowl to the side an go back to sleep love

"You... you aren't going to stay?" Vincent asked rather pathetically, then sighed and looked at the soup. "No, you probably shouldn't. I don't want you sick." He took a bite of the soup, then looked up at her again. "Thank you again, sweet."

She blinked and then smiled sitting on the bed
"I wasn't sure if you would want me to or not"s he said soflty storking his hair lightly

"Okay," Arlen said, just before another coughing fit. Putting his head back on Lily's shoulder, he quietly wondered if cats got sick.

"I am tired, but I feel better when you're here." Vincent murmured, leaning into her touch, then took another bite. "So... Arlen is sick too? The chit must be frantic."
"Hey... do you want me to find some cough medicine?" Lily asked him softly, resting her head lightly on his for a moment. "I could get it for you, and then we could go cuddle on the couch or in bed until you're ready for sleep."

"Okay." Lily kissed his forehead, then gently pulled away and stood, heading for the medicine she knew was kept in the kitchen, coming back out with cough syrup already poured for Arlen. "There you go, sweetie. Take that." she urged gently, offering it.
"Make it up to him then. Just as long as I'm the only one who gets kisses." Vincent teased lightly, then took a few bites. "How are you feeling, sweet?"

Arlen reached for the medicing and swallowed it as directed. "Thanks," he said, sniffing again.

"Sweet, if you kiss anyone else, I'd die inside." Vincent told her playfully, though there was a very small hint of seriousness in his eyes. "And maybe I will shower tomorrow... I think I smell." Then he set his bowl aside, reaching out to gather Ukaia in his arms. "What happened last night?"
