Nic opened the door to her room and walked over to her bed where she proceded to fall onto it. She laid there for a little just staring up at the ceiling debating on what she should do next. Rolling off of it she looked under her bed for a book or something to keep herself amused for a bit, or at least long enough for someone to come and find her to make her do something.

And just as Ryouki rounded a corner into the corridor which led to his room, a door swung open right in front of him, a hand reached out, and he was dragged into the utility closet. There, a pair of bright blue eyes and a shiny green jewel greated him.

"Hey, sugar," sang out a sultry and seductive voice. "Long time, no doing it." Even though, in fact, they had never done it at all.

The long-missing Rain reached past Ryouki and locked the door, which even Kayako would not be able to bust through just because I said so. Rain drew closer to Ryou so that she was right in his face and she could smell his horrible halitosis.

"Where've you been all this time?" she asked, which should have actually been asked by Ryou. "I haven't seen you since the airduct escapade. How're ya gonna make that time away up to me?" Rain gave him a coy look, tilting her head down just a touch.

Rain rubbed her head against Ryouki's shoulder a bit as if she was claiming him as a cat would. "Oh, Ryouki, you have no idea how much your awkward, nervous talking turns me on!" she replied to him, not really answering his question, only playing with him some more. She had not had any fun in the past.... amount of time that has past since she last appeared. So of course she was entitled to mess around with this kid. And besides, whenever she did happen to be active, he was never around, always getting the shaft for other "more important" people.

At any rate, it was either that or while she had been gone, something must have had gone seriously wrong in her noggin. The cause of this, if this reason is the truth, is unknown and will never be known. It's just one of the many great mysteries in life.

"Well, buddy-boy,"" she said to him, lifting up her head and looking him in the eye. "I know you really want to get some, but I am not the type to give it freely. I demand that before we do it, we must go through it, or else we blew it. My parents may be hippies, but I never believed in that free-love garbage. Although, I have always wanted to make-out in a closet... since now."

So it appears that it was probably just messing with the poor kid's mind after all. Well, he pretty much deserved it.

Huro let out a slight sigh as he walked away from the three mechs. He then stopped and looked towards Reiku's direction. " I know your there... " As he said that a girl in a black dress walked out from be hide the leg of the Nirvash. " Mr.Gearfried you know your self Project Twilight will not take any of the pilots here. You know who the pilot is its gonna be your child. " Reiku froze slightly as he looked at the women. " R...ruby!?!?! " Huro turned and looked at her. " We have 6 months to test that theory Ruby.. and lets just see what happens " She bowed slightly as she walked back around the Nirvash.

The dream started to fade. " I hope Ruby's right.. " Was all he heard before waking up in Twilight's hand. " Medri.. What just happened? " He looked up at him

Quinn meanwhile had set himself up on the bridge, a slim cigarette in one hand and a glass of Merlot in the other. Rather than sit in the oh-so-comfy captain's seat like any responsible or lazy person would, he had opted for a cold, hard wooden stool, settled behind the cardboard stand he had built near the weapons station. But this young man was not selling lemonade, no sir. (And even if he was, he would only be selling it to little children.) No. This stand proudly displayed on its front a sign with the inscription, "Quinn is IN, 5¢."

In an attempt to advertise his probably-not-debauchery-related services, his mouth found its way around the intercom microphone, like a delicious lollipop. The sounds of his slobbering and gagging were heard all along the ship, at nearly three times the normal amount of decibels, and ten times the amount of static.

"HARBLEGRRRARRR *kshhh*" the intercom bellowed as his tongue wrapped around it inappropriately. When he had finished, he hung up the receiver with a quiet "thank you," and stood up to try and insert 5¢ into its various openings. Unfortunately, his senseless fumbling caused his glass of Merlot to fall, its contents sinking into every nook it could find, with one final drop accidentally triggering the system that fired missiles.

The shipped rocked hard as the missile left its hold and flew into a nearby orphanage.

Quinn's only option involved him fleeing the scene, but not before he incriminated himself by flipping the sign on his cardboard stand over to read "Quinn has BEEN, 5¢."

Nic was standing in her doorway waiting to hear what had happened after feeling the ship rock from the missle. But when she stopped to think about where she was it didn't really surprise her. Figuring that someone was most likely going to get hurt by a certain someone, Nic started out on a bit of a walk hoping to find them instead of having to walk over to the medical bay.

'WHY do these people feel the need to kill us all?!' Asuka thought as she gritted her teeth and headed down the hallway away from the cockpit, hoping to find Kayako before anything else disturbing happened. Honestly, she didn't know why Quinn's presence was allowed to continue after everything he put them through. She preferred to think of it as some kind of cosmic comic relief mechanism, providing the crew of the Ragnarok with some distractions now and then to keep things from becoming boring.

Rounding a corner, Asuka spotted Kayako running in her direction, directly after unceremoniously using the bathroom door to unceremoniously displace Gray from his position leaned against it.

"Kayako!" Asuka yelled, jumping in front of Kayako as to force her to stop "Where were you for so long?!"

"Well, I was in the middle of a serious revelation, but then I heard explosions. What the hell happened this time?"

"Quinn. Missiles. All-around not-good scenario. I think he only knocked down some trees, but we should probably hide the ship in the woods just in case..."

"Dammit I don't know how to fly this thing! I don't even think Quinn knows how to fly this thing! Just...gah...come with me back to the cockpit, I'll figure something out."

Kayako grabbed Asuka by the hand, and the two of the proceeded to run to and up the stairs, quickly reaching the cockpit. Once inside Kayako ran over to the intercom and, after carefully wiping the entire console off with a rag, clicked it on.

"Medri, please report to the cockpit immediately and help us get the ship back behind the treeline. The rest of you, keep a look out for our lovable idiot of a pilot. If you see him, tie him up and bring him here. Or just chuck him out a window, I don't care which." click

"What now?" Asuka asked, crossing her arms as she looked out the window. "Are we still going into town?"

"No choice. We need work and food, and we need to get those mice taken care of. But we'll cut back, try to get everything done as quickly as possible. We'll have Rain, Ryouki and Nic go out scouting for work. Gray can help Liana with the mice, and you, Marty, Reiku and I will go shopping while Medri does ship maintenance. If we're fast, we can be in and out of here to two days."
