Christian and Lilian laughed as Aki smacked their son in the arm before moving to take a seat the dining table. Blank felt her wrap her arms around his waist, drawing him from his daze as he looked over at her confused before smiling warmly, "It's nothin', don't worry about it. I was just thinkin' about something." He said before giving her a light squeeze, "...Do you wanna go for a walk?" He asked her, changing the subject and sipping from his can.

Aki tilts her head in confusion, but smiles at him.
"Sure, if you'd like," she says, giving him a light squeeze in return.

He smiled reassuringly before taking his hand from her waist and wrapping it around hers, placing his can of pop on the granite counter top, "We'll be back later." Blank said to his folks who looked at the younger couple, "Just make sure you're back before we get to bed. We had to change the locks, so your key won't work." His mother said, while Christian nodded and smiled, "Have fun!" He said.
Blank smiled and nodded in response to his folks before looking to Aki, "C'mon." He said, eager to check out the rest of the city which he hadn't seen in years.

Aki grins at Blank's parents and says, "Thanks for dinner! I'll make sure we aren't out too long."
She looks up at Blank and smiles at him as they leave. She takes a deep breath of the cool night air and squeezes Blank's hand.
"Where to?"

They waved to the young couple as they left, Blank doing the same. When they exited the house, he looked up to see that night was falling, the moon now rising high, "Hmm..." He thought of where they should go, "I guess...the beach?" He suggested, unsure of where they should walk.

"Sounds perfect," she says, heading down the street.
She vaguely remembers how to get to the beach, and she excitedly pulls Blank along. She was having such a wonderful time and she couldn't help but be a little giddy.
She makes a wrong turn however, and laughs to herself. Suddenly a large white shape looms ahead of her in the moonlight, and as Aki catches sight of it, her laughing is halted. A clinic lays ahead of them, and she stops walking instantly. She stands, staring frozenly at it for a few moments, then turns away, pulling Blank back in the opposite direction.
"I took a wrong turn," she says, her voice suddenly shaky.

Blank grinned as she began to pull him along, guiding him through dimly-lit streets. He was about to say that she was heading in the wrong direction, laughing along with her till she stopped dead in her tracks, nearly bumping into her, "What's-" He was about to ask what the building was till it hit him and she began to lead him away, "'kay." Blank said, giving her hand a light squeeze as she led him away from the clinic.
They walked through the streets, his hand giving hers a squeeze, "Are you okay?" He asked, worry in his voice.

She walks swiftly away and is silent until they get a few blocks away. She slows down and glances at Blank, giving him a weak smile.
"I'm okay... sorry, I didn't mean to freak you out," she says, squeezing his hand reassuring him.

"It's okay." He said reassuringly. They were silent for a few blocks till Aki spoke up, "...Was that the place where..." Blank asked slowly when they were a distance away, holding her hand tightly as they wondered the streets.

"I.. don't really want to talk about it.... I'm having such a good time here and I don't want to spoil it," Aki says, giving him another smile.
She stays silent for a few moments, then says, "I love your parents, by the way."

Blank smiled before giving her hand a squeeze, "Okay." He said softly.
In the silence they were walking, he took in the cool air of the streets, remembering and loving fondly of that old musky smell of the city. Hearing the mention of his parents, he couldn't help but chuckle and smile widely, "Yeeeeah....it looks like they love you too." He said, giving her hand a light squeeze before he pulled her side into his, wrapping a hand around her waist lovingly as they walked.

Aki wraps her arm around Blank in return, and grins up at him. Hearing that his parents actually liked her brings her right back into her good mood. As they finally reach the beach, Aki takes a deep breath, taking in the scent of the salt water with a sigh.
"I don't know if I want to go back..." she says, giggling to herself.

He grinned as he raised his hand up her back and to her hair, running through it before falling back to her waist as they came to the beach. The familiar smell filled his lungs as he took in a long inhale, "Mm..." Blank groaned in delight at the smell which he grew up to.
He chuckled lightly, "Go back where? My folks place?" He said with a wide smile.

Aki giggles and shakes her head.
"No silly, Balamb. This whole trip has just been wonderful, like a dream or something," she says with a grin.
She reaches up and grabs his hand, then pulls him further down the beach. She finds a clear spot on the sand and sits, pulling him down with her. The moon was now high in the black sky, and it cast a silver glow over the whole beach. The ocean was fairly calm, the waves crashing gently against the sandy beach. The dark, sparking water reflected the full moon and the stars, making the line between sea and sky invisible.
Aki lets out a content sigh and cuddles close to Blank, feeling like she might explode from the happiness welling up inside her.

He laughed along with her as they moved down the beach. Blank had to agree...this was the most fun he had in...ages. Asides from the short scare with the Ruby Dragon, he was having a blast...it felt so good to be back home after so many years...and it was all because of her.
They walked down the beach till they got to a small spot and took a seat in the sand. Blank sat with his legs out infront of him at an angle while his arm wrapped around her back and held her close, his other arm behind him, supporting him.
He looked out at the moonlit sea and listened to the water brush into the shore. His head tilted over and rested against hers, "Mm...I don't think I wanna go back either." He said with a crooked grin. He'd love to stay in Dollet for a few more days...having missed the city more than he thought.
